I often use the reconnect feature of Jdownloader and I wasn't able to get it to work with bridge, but I guess I'll have to change it back to bridge again then. thx for the quick answer!

You can use of course the host network too if you really want too, to make use of the host network add these Variables to the container template:

Key: RFB_PORT

Value: 5099

(This is just to avoid conflicts with the VM service if running in host mode)

Key: NOVNC_PORT

Value: 9247

(This changes the port from noVNC to 9247 and the container will now be reachable through: http://SERVERIP:9247 )

Hope that helps.

that kinda works. I can reach http://SERVERIP:9247, but http://SERVERIP:8080 still redirects me to noVNC but I need port 8080 to be free

Please explain what you did now and post a screenshot from your template.

I don't understand what you are saying here, you can reach the container now on port 9247?

What redirects you to 8080? Do you mean the WebUI button or does your browser redirect you automatically?

If your browser automatically redirects you to 8080 keep in mind that it is most likely the case that something is stored in your Browser cache, you have two options either force reload the site or clear your browser cache.

With the above two variables the container will be now only reachable through 9247 and not on 8080.

ok I feel so stupid now. of course it was a browser cache issue. I hate mondays xD

Is there a option to set Krusader to always open a particular directory / folder?  I would like for Krusader to always start/load /mnt/user but have been unsuccessful in my effort.

I just added volumes to my template and those are visible in the root / view.

Not quite as fast as having it open in that directory, but just one click away. 🙂

@ich777 Are you able to create a SteamCMD docker for "Smalland: Survive the Wilds"? The app ID is 808040. I tried doing it my self and reworking one of your existing packages but I am unable to actually get it to work. It just loops over and over after downloading the server files for that app ID.

Sorry but I don't accept container requests anymore since I almost have 190 applications on the CA App.

Hi, As a newbie I hope I am doing this in the correct place.

I just pulled and installed ich777/krusader When I choose the icon (It does not have a name), adjacent to the name Krusader I can open a console and expected a split screen view. Instead I opened a page which flashed white and settled as a blank black page with #.

I have always installed dockers from the CA page and this is my first attempt not using that page.

I must have done something wrong or not done something. Would you please assist this old fella?

You have to chose WebUI not Console.

There is no webUI option.

I've confused myself. lol
I'm running Rustdesk AIO, and all was well, using DuckDNS.  However, I recently changed ISPs, and Duck doesn't work with my new provider.  I've switched over to using Tailscale for remote access, which seems to be working fine for other things.
HOWEVER - I can't for the life of me figure out how to configure Rustdesk to work with tailscale.  I can't even find the instructions I used to initially set up the Rustdesk container in the first place.  I do have the server and key info, which I guess may be changing, now that I'm no longer using DuckDNS...
Anyway, can anyone please help me out here?   Is it even possible to use Tailscale to connect Rustdesk to off-site machines?  If so, how?  And how do I re-configure a running instance of Rustdesk, or do I just nuke it and start over?

I removed the docker and reinstalled it. This is the result and still no WebUI.

What am I doing wrong?

I think in order to have the webui button, you have to use the template in unRAID (dockerman), enable advanbced view and then fill in the webui field.

Looks like you are doing everything via terminal instead.

Is there some reason you're doing that instead of using CA?

What happens if you try to go here:

http://192.168.1.249:8080/vnc.html?resize=remote&host=192.168.1.249&port=8080&autoconnect=1

I brings up No VNC connect

I am embarrassed once again! I was using the wrong search box!

Thank you for your help offers

Any thoughts on my request?

Sorry but what are you doing? Go into the CA App and download the application from there (Apps tab within Unraid).

Sorry, can't help with Tailscale.

Haven't done much with it.

Just deploy the container and that's it...

You should be able to connect in your Tailnet but I'm not 100% sure how to pull that off...

Ok, no problem.  How about the other part, on how to edit the existing Rustdesk config?  I can't find any instructions for how I actually set this container up initially.  I don't think I followed the info on the Github page, since it's not unraid-specific, and I'm not that savvy with Docker.  I'm sure I had a step-by-step guide for this specific template, but I don't see anything now.
I'm trying to figure out if I can edit the current template, or if I need to uninstall it and start over, and either way, how exactly.
As you can tell, I'm a little bit lost in the woods on this one. :)

What config, you don't need to edit anything.

Just read the variables, the container will work by default, display your key, there is nothing more to it.

Nope, because I thought that I wrote almost everything in the template and the description from the Variables.

Just deploy the container and it will work.

Except that it's not working for me, presumably because the server that I was using (via DuckDNS) is no longer available.  I need to change those parameters to point to something new, most likely some form of my Tailscale IP (which I'll have to sort out), but I don't know where to find or change that info.  Is it all done on the client side?  I set this all up several months ago, so I can't recall the process.  I know there was some instructions, though.  I'm not smart enough to figure this out on my own. lol

Which parameters? There are no parameters you have to set up for the container itself, it was kost likely a port forward in your router which doesn‘t work because you are kost likely behind CG-NAT.

The container just listens and you usually forward the ports and expose them on the WAN.
