Got myself an A380 gpu for Plex transcoding. Is it possible to display the temperature of the card in the plugin?

I was reading here the following link and it seems like it might be possible with latest kernel. I'm using UNRAID 7 RC1

I guess this will be next kernel release 6.13 Unraid 7 is on 6.6 and I cannot see this back ported as yet.

If anyone is having problems with Jellyfin transcoding not working and the plugin not showing that it's, in fact, working should read this (this probably doubles as a bug report too): 

 

Updated to the latest version of GPU stat 2024.12.14 (hopeful that it will work this time) but still can't get it to work. I clear cache and install new browser but still the same. This plugin worked perfectly fine before.

 

CPU: i5-10400

GPU STAT: 2024.12.14

INTEL TOP: 2024.10.20

If this command get's you nothing then the duration is too short:

timeout -k .500 .400 intel_gpu_top -J -s 250

 

Play around with the timeout values, the second value (.400) means for how long the command intel_gpu_top is allowed to run, if it runs after that period of time it is sent a kill value after the first value (.500).

 

What does:

intel_gpu_top -J

for you (you might have to kill it with CTRL + C because it runs indefinitely).

 

You could also try to increase the value from 250 since this is the time in milliseconds that intel_gpu_top refreshes the output.

The timeout command is to do the ctlr c as intel_gpu_top loops for ever. Not sure why that does not work for you.

 

This works fine on my systems timeout -k .500 .400 intel_gpu_top -J -s 250

Well, this was working before. 😀

I have 3 gpus in my system. 
 

When choosing all 3 nothing reports.

 

Works with 1 or 2 but not 3. 
 

I have intel, and, and nvidia. 
 

is it possible to make all 3 work ?
