The web interface failed to respond when I set the MTU on my desktop to 9000. The server and the desktop both have a Mellanox connectx3 SFP+ (10 GbE) cards. The card on the server also has MTU set to 9000, but that didn't impact performance. All the other sites I visit ran fine.

This situation happens randomly. Basically every 2-5 days, I have to reboot it once. It seems to be a hardware problem. I have run memtest, all passed. Here is the syslog from the start of the freeze before reboot. Please let me know if I should change a motherboard or do something else. At first upgrade from 6.9.2 went smoothly and Unraid started as usual and ran without problems for at least several hours, but overnight GUI crashed. Docker, Stats, Dashbord were unreachable. Anything that required realtime updates seemd to hang. Other tabs worked fine, as well as smb and all at that time running Dockers (plex, nzbget, sonar). No VMs running at that time. Log showed no problem. Downgrade button via tools did not work, Terminal unresponsive (except login and output worked). Termi

rc.ntpd contains the following lines: # restrict NTP to management interface only ETH=eth0 [[ -e /sys/class/net/bond0 ]] && ETH=bond0 [[ -e /sys/class/net/br0 ]] && ETH=br0 echo "interface ignore wildcard" >>/etc/ntp.conf echo "interface listen $ETH" >>/etc/ntp.conf When a Wireguard tunnel interface is configured all traffic, including ntp traffic, is sent over wg0. This causes ntp to fail to hear responses from any external ntp servers. The symptom

I have been getting kernel panics fairly often and it has caused me to lose 5TB of data as it caused my drives to lose stability while performing rebuilds. I have set the syslog so I can see what is happening before such failures. So I am watching the logs as diligently as I can. Rebuilds take more than a day and fails have already forced me to lose an entire drive. un 19 15:10:14 Tower kernel: CPU: 36 PID: 0 Comm: swapper/36 Tainted: P O 5.15.46-Unraid #

Every time I am loading the VM page I am getting this error. This started happening on Unraid 6.10.0. I am on 6.10.3 and is still there. After upgrading from 6.9.2 to 6.10.2 my server hangs during my backup using duplicati docker to OneDrive. During reading of the files (about 120GB an 1 million files) I noticed that there are processes in uninterruptible sleep. (ps aux with stat D). After a while the amount of processes in uninterruptible sleep are getting to a amount that the server becomes unresponsive. I noticed some of the Workers are in an uninterruptible sleep state. At that point, the only thing to do, is to stop

Hi all, Recently upgraded to 6.10.3. My containers and system have been remarkably stable in general. However, last night when my auto-update process started at 2am a few errors were thrown that included my DNS server AdguardHome being taken offline and not restarted. syslog below and diagnostics attached. Ideas on what might have happened? Thanks! Jun 21 02:00:01 unraid Plugin Auto Update: Checking for available plugin updates Jun 21 02:00:01 unraid Do

I am going through my disks and viewing the Date of Purchase and Warranty Period information ensure it is correct, I have noticed that for some reason, they have all disappeared. This is for all disks in my array, including my parity disks. I have gone through and set all the dates and warranty periods, but when I go back and check, they've disappeared again. I can do it for a single disk, but once I have done two or three of them, the first one is gone. Something about this feature

Hi guys, After upgrading from unraid v6.9.2 to 6.10.2 (6.9.2 -> 6.10.0 -> 6.10.1 -> 6.10.2) I have notice some network issues after few days with the server up and running. At some point I lose connection to my unraid server, no ssh available not even ping (from local network, of course). This behaviour doesn't appear in v6.9.2 and its quite annoying because I need to execute a manual 'dirty' reboot to fix it. All this with parity checks execution inconvenients (out of sched

This is a MINOR, LOW PRIORITY UI issue. I noticed that in 6.10.2, the [close all notifications] button doesn't actually close any of them, instead, it just rearranges them. The issue persists in 6.10.3. I had a bunch of disk usage notifications and took a screen shot (left), I then clicked the [close all notifications] and it rearranged them (middle), clicked it again and it rearranged them again (right). It also gives issues when attempting to close one

So I know with using Linux distros you can choose a previous kernel that was working after an update has been pushed. Is it possible to do the same with 6.10.3? Choose a better working kernel?

Description: The docker page tab did not open and did not respond when closing the system. Operation process: My server has been working properly for about a day. At first, the docker container "qbittorrent" could not be opened, so I logged in to the unraid web page to investigate the problem and found that the whole docker tab could not be opened, but other docker containers could be used normally, and virtual machines could also Normal use. So I restarted the sy

So after i have Updated to 6.10, the Server seems to only recognize one CPU Core. I've looked into the system log, which states that the CPU is experiencing to many L3 Cache errors (threshold exceeded). The only CPU core (CPU0) which is online is also spitting out L3 Cache errors, stating "CPU has large number of corrected cache errors in Level-3 Instruction". but those errors only appear in the new Version, 6.9.2 is working fine. Ubuntu on an USB stick is also recognizing all the cores. I

I just ran into this. Also, I'm having issues with Parity check. I have errors set to be corrected, but I've had 5 errors on my last 3 parity checks. I did have two hard shutdowns due to the shutdown process taking more than 30 minutes. unraid1-diagnostics-20220616-0946.zip

Just updated to 6.10.3, after returning to 6.9.2 from 6.10.1. I'm still having the same issues with 6.10.3 as with 6.10.0 & 6.10.1, which is my server locks up while transferring large files over my network to my Unraid server. I also have the same issue when running a parity check, server locks up and must do a hard shutdown. I don't know how to create a diagnostic report but I will leave my hardware specs below. Please help!...and thanks. Intel® Core™ i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40

When you toggle VM manager on/off and dont change any settings you get this message: No settings are being changed, simply disabling and re-enabling the VM manager prompts the message. No restart is needed as nothing is being changed. Even when you toggle it back to whatever you started with the message remains. The message has no X on it, so its rather annoying as I would now need to restart my server to remove the message.

Hi everyone, Based on my post: I'm creating a bug report here as requested by @JorgeB. My goal was to have 1 physical server running Unraid hosting my Server 2019 domain controller that would service all the devices on my network, and authenticate shares from my zfs pool via AD/LDAP. Unfortunately I experienced long freeze-ups of the Unraid UI under specific circumstances that were around 15 min long. Things I have learned: On Unr

So, once again my computer came to a complete freeze, I was using my gaming VM when everything just froze. I tried to ssh from a laptop but I was completely locked out, again. When I was using 6.10-RC releases I had no problems with this, they started as soon as I upgraded to stable, and continued with 6.10.1 and still continues with 6.10.2. Yesterday when everything froze I was browsing one of the file shares on the server. Now my memory is bad but I do believe that exactly this happe
