Every time I try to unlock my drives and start the array it keeps saying that I'm using the wrong file even though if I unlock the drive through the terminal I'm able to access the drive again. I've almost lost all my files twice because of this thedeathstar-diagnostics-20260202_0244.zip

Hi, Just added a new drive my zpool for the time with the GUI. My concern is that I noticed that my drive has been set with MBR instead of GPT contrary to my whole zpool. I reproduced and still get an MBR. I suggest any format to be set with GPT instead of MBR, as MBR is kinda deprecated and put some problems with huge drives. Regards PS : I'm aware that Unraid will format with MBR for disk lower than 2TB. The problem here is that I've imported my pool to Unraid when ZFS has been official

[7.2.3] I am desperately trying to find out why my System is unable to pass higher states than PC2 or PC3. I have tested 3 NVME's and all have the same issue in unraid. (I can only have 2 installed The Firmware for the NVME's are up to date. Researching similar behaviour online led to almost the same conclusion, that the kernel or other OS specific settings change the desired power_state for the SSD. I cannot find anything related except for older threads mentioning a bugged samsung firmware a

Need a second set of eyes. I upgraded from Unraid 6.x to 7.2.3 and dockers did not start (surprise!!!), searching I found the supposed cause was corrupt files/errors in the btrfs docker.img file. I deleted the old one, create a new docker.img, and one by one added the dockers back, and I arrived at the same problem. Log shows: I do have a fair number of images in the docker file and suspect it might be a timeout issue, as I can start up docker fine manually or by turning it on/off in the GUI.

Hi, I just created a diagnostics file for the first time and highly appreciate that they are anonymized by default. I still wanted to check what's in there so I looked at all the files if e.g. the names of my shares appear. Under "shares" in the zip file they are anonymized. But my diagnostics also contained logs/syslog-previous.txt which had the names of the shares in clear-text, supposedly caused by the ca.mover.tuning plugin. My suggestion: I think it would be good if the diagnostics creati

Edit, it happened again today and I got the syslog this time, the TL:DR is its this: https://github.com/libfuse/libfuse/issues/589 So yeah. It's known and old and still open. May 13 12:00:30 Tower shfs: shfs: ../lib/fuse.c:1402: unlink_node: Assertion `node->nlookup > 1' failed. This fires at line 1402 of fuse.c (libfuse 3.16.2 still — same version as Feb), which is the unlink_node cleanup path. The assertion guards against a refcount underflow — shfs has tried to decrement an i

I don't know enough to give much detail besides the nvme is dropping out constantly now. Immediately after a reboot even now. I had 3.5 months of uptime and I think I updated to one of the recent updates. Out of nowhere Plex docker started crashing. I will list the troubleshooting I have now done. Originally started with a single 4TB acer predator gm7000 nvme for cache drive/pool, due to it sitting directly underneath the a2000 GPU on the motherboard I originally assumed it was overheating and

Dear all, I've been trying to figure out why 2 of my disks keep awake: (No docker/VM running, Tunable (md_write_method): is auto) Fall back to 6.9.1: noticed that the WebUI shows the disk already spin down, but in reality the disks are still spinning. Upgrade to 6.9.2/6.10.0-rc1, shows the spin up/down correctly, but disks keep reading SMART to awake disks, see pic 2. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/106508-advanced-disk-spindown/, I also tried this solution. it didi no

I have a server that has given me some problems past few weeks with hard lockups of various degrees. This morning, it happened again, but not a full lockup. I could still access parts of the webui, terminal, and I saw some of the dockers still running in the active processes, but samba shares did not work. If I opened a terminal and wanted to list the /mnt directory, the terminal froze. After this, I tried to create the diagnostics, but it stalled halfway. And after this, the webui also did no

About a month ago, I upgraded to 7.2.3. Three weeks later my server locked up. I thought it was a failed USB, so I loaded a backup from before the upgrade [7.2.2]. After I had everything stable, I upgraded to 7.2.3. today, once again, I have memory full errors. Current plan is to downgrade back to 7.2.2 and see if that fixes it. plexunraid-diagnostics-20260124-0832.zip

There are several reports in the forums of this shfs error causing /mnt/user to go away: May 14 14:06:42 Tower shfs: shfs: ../lib/fuse.c:1451: unlink_node: Assertion `node->nlookup > 1' failed. Rebooting will fix it, until it happens again, I remember seeing at least 5 or 6 different users with the same issue in the last couple of months, it was reported here that it's possibly this issue: https://github.com/libfuse/libfuse/issues/128 Attached d

Summary: I am experiencing recurring network connectivity failures on Unraid when using a Realtek RTL8126 5GbE NIC. During the failure, ICMP (ping) continues to work, but TCP-based services such as the Unraid WebUI, SSH, and Docker containers (e.g., Plex) become unreachable. The network link remains up and there are no obvious kernel or system errors, but NIC statistics show increasing RX-side errors and missed packets while the issue is occurring. Attached is a screenshot of the error output, a

After setting up a static network route in the gui, the Docker settings Page won´t load if "Enable Docker" is set to"off". If the Docker service is still running, everything works. To start the Docker service i have to delete the route, activate Docker and setting up the route again. 0501mdxkihp001-diagnostics-20260121-1626.zip

The inclusion of rclone into the base OS needs to be modified as the configs are stored in a non-persistent location of /root/.config/rclone/. I would like to propose a wrapper similar to the rclone plugin which renames the base rclone binary and is simply a shell script that contains the following. #!/bin/bash config=/boot/config/plugins/rclone/.rclone.conf rcloneorig --config $config "$@"; I'd propose the location of /boot/config/.rclone.conf as this will provide an easy migration pat

Hi! I tried to follow space invaders Route Containers Through WireGuard – Advanced Docker Networking guide, but could not reach any docker containers on my lan after setting them up using the bult in vpn tunnel. Problem is when setting up vpn tunneled access for docker post up post down settings are created in the vpn conf file to exempt the lan ip range but not the tailscale one. Now that tailscale is built in they should probably also be except by default or you will have a loot of users wond

Per the title the Docker page is no longer respecting the "Tabbed" option of the "Page view" display setting. In prior versions the "Tabbed" setting would display tabs for each menu section of the docker page. Now sections are displayed one after the other on the screen in the same way as the "non-tabbed" "Page view" setting. This appears to be because the line Tabs="false" was added to the Docker.page file in dynamix.docker.manager This is most noticeable with the compose plugin installed as i

I have 30 disks connected to my system via a SAS3 LSI 9305-16e HBA card out to two SuperMicro JBOD's running SAS3 controllers. All my disks these days are SATA except for four 18TB SAS disks. In the past I always had issues with the SAS disks spinning down and relied heavily on the old SAS Spindown plugin. This is the first instance where I have had the disks refuse to spindown, even when manually initiated through the GUI within Unraid. I am currently running the most recent update of 7.2.3
