Reference post: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/124021-win-10-vm-bootbcd-io-error-after-unraid-6101-update/ This user was receiving a bcd error for his passed through nvme controller with a windows 10 installation. He stated that windows booted correctly when not run in a vm. The issue was solved by pointing in the xml to a newer compiled seabios version (latest 1.16).

My array is encrypted and automatically decrypted at start time. For this the keyfile is loaded from my Diskstation via ftp. Hello, Received a Dell R530 with onboard H730 Tested both BIOS and UEFI boot, Tested on Newest RC and Stable Card is set HBA, boot shows 8 Non-Raid Disk.. I can see Smart Etc.. Tested all Drives with Disk Speed = All drive performance is within a few MB/s at most Drives set to spin down - 15 Minutes XFS Now the issue... Parity Check... If drives are spun down - I start parity check... Drives will spin up, and parity check will begin... It maxes out at 60

Hi, after upgrading from RC8 -> 6.10 -> 6.10.1 I have seen some issues here and there. Once my server got completely inaccessible, it was like the network died, I couldn´t access the server in anyway nor any VMs or dockers. I had to force the server down with the power button. The WebUI is really slow in some scenarios, like accessing the VMs tab from my iPhone, tapping on VMs and nothing happens, nothing happens, nothing happens, my patience runs out and I tap on something else and

I can't post this to the My Servers forum, because it doesn't get registered, so here goes: After upgrading to 6.10, the My Servers doesn't let me login. The dropdown on the top right in Unraid shows this: The "Install Plugin" button never goes away, and the install log shows "plugin: not reinstalling same version". The Management Access page shows this: And the sign in process then shows this, without me actually ever getting the chance to log in anywhere:

The webUI shuts itself down several times a day. I have never experienced this before on any version I've used. The shares are still active and can be used. I took a screen shot of the browser window and posted my diags as requested. sun-diagnostics-20220521-0504.zip

after upgrading to 6.10.1, in about 12 hours the CPU is overloaded and consumed by by a whole lot of /usr/bin/php -q /usr/local/emhttp/webGui/nchan/update_<#> processes. - restarting ngnix via /etc/rc.d/rc.nginx restart buys some temporary relief but only for a few minutes diagnostics and htop picture attached. System was stable and operating nominally using 6.9.2 renfrew-unraid-diagnostics-20220525-0935.zip

When upgrading from 6.9.2, the names of 4 out of 6 array devices change and I can't start the array. I have assigned the proper drives, but there does not seem to be a way to correct it. Any ideas? For now, it looks as though reverting to 6.9.2 got us back up.

For one of my Docker containers I have the following 'Post arguments' set: && docker network connect br1 home-assistant When this is set and I stop and then start the array or docker service the container fails to start automatically. If I then try and start it manually I get the error "Execution error No such container". I have to modify the container and hit apply for unraid to recreate it and start it. In the latest build of unraid (6.8.2), I am having issues with the SIS 191. Thou a NIC is detected, but only connects at 10/100 mbit vs. Gigabit. The switch its connected to (Cisco C2970) claims the connection is gigabit. The strange thing is via the UI in unraid is shows the link speed is only 10/100. The other issue is network inconsistency, Thou I can hit the UI via HTTP, It has trouble registering and activation the trial key and downloading additional plugins/packages.

The wiki states "As such, users must either disable this feature on their router or set their router to allow DNS rebinding for the unraid.net domain" However, I notice in my router's logs when unRAID runs the test its trying myunraid.net and NOT unraid.net: Mon May 23 11:12:50 2022 daemon.warn dnsmasq[3712]: possible DNS-rebind attack detected: rebindtest4.myunraid.net So, why is it testing myunraid.net ? Hi, I did the update to unraid 6.10.1 and I thought that everything was work fine. Then I placed an PCIe x1 4NIC card in the server and noticed that my eth0 interface was changed. Now I want to change the eth0 back to the motherboard NIC but the option Network settings -> Interface Rules is no longer available. Am I missing something? Brian

On the "Shares" tab, the shares are ordered alphabetically case-independant, however on the "Dashboard" tab they are ordered alphabetically case-dependant. I don't know if the Dashboard issue is new or not, but the Shares tab ordering has been that way as far as I can remember.

After upgrading to 6.10.0 the server stopped booting with the message "Unraid boot device not found" after the 30 second time out. Tried formatting the USB, and doing a fresh (didn't copy my config folder across) manual install of 6.10 but the issue was the same. Have manually installed 6.9.2, copied my old config folder across and am backup and running with out issue. So seems there is a bug\issue in 6.10. I'm using a 16GB SanDisk Corp. How do I downgrade from 6.10.1 to 6.9.2? I'm having more problems with 6.10.1 than 6.10.0. All of my drive were spun down after update to 6.10.1 and couldn't access my shares using windows. 6.10.0 has a problem with locking my system during parity check. 6.10.0 & 6.10.1 both will not reboot properly when the reboot option is selected. Just want to go back to 6.9.2.

Hey Everyone, First time posting an issue. I just upgraded to 6.10.1 stable from 6.10-rc7 next and have come across this issue. It doesn't recognise my m.2 nvme drives that are in a pci card, but does recognise my m.2 ssd that are on the motherboard. Have added diags to assist. Anyone seen this before? or know how to fix it? Since 6.10 docker container log messages are not color-coded to their log-level anymore. This also happens when the system log is opened via the top bar icon. But when you open the system log via Tools/System log higher log-level messages still have a different color according to their log-level. This happens in Chrome, Safari and Firefox. It would be really useful, to have colors in the docker logs again. via top bar icon pop-up window: via tools/System log:

In the search of reducing power consumption I noticed strange behaviour when logging in the WebUI. After the server has booted the idle consumption is ~22W. This includes some Docker containers being active and even after some regular use such as Time Machine backup. When accessing the WebUI, at the very moment I log in the power consumption increased to ~44W. Only after restarting the server the idle consumption goes down again.
