Just noticed that on the Dashboard one cpu at a time goes to 100%. Running top shows wsdd taking 100% (I am assuming that means 100% on one processor). It jumps around to both regular and HT processors, all of which are not pinned to a VM. It does not seem to be impacting any function or performance; I have not seen this before upgrading to 6.8.0. I do not see any issues in the system log.

After updating to 6.11 Krusader noVNC would not connect. Also tried Double Commander and it would not connect. Fired up a VM and could not connect through noVNC microsoft remote desktop connected. Reverted back to 6.10.3 and all worked correctly.

When trying to open a terminal, a pop-up error is shown, as attached. If clicking several repeated times (between 5-8 times), finally the terminal is opened properly.

Hi, I updated my server to 6.11.0 from 6.10.3 and everything went well. I am able to access the GUI through a remote computer without any issues if I boot up through the terminal. However, the GUI does not load on the monitor connected directly on the server. The monitor stays on (does not go to standby) but blank. Is this a bug? I got a weird one. My server's been running solid for a few years now. But today I stood up a new Windows 11 VM and realized I accidentally stuck it on my array instead of in my cache. So after install, I stopped it before it finished it's final boot and moved it. As soon as it finished, the entire server just stopped functioning. I found I could ping and SSH into it, but had no GUI access, so I rebooted from the CLI. Ever since then, it boots, but I can't get the GUI to come up. I'

I posted on an earlier post about this issue but it got marked as solved and the solution had nothing to do with this issue. After upgrading from 6.9.2 to 6.10.2 going to the VM page takes 1min and 40secons to load. This happens only to the VM page. If I try to visit any other page, while the VM is loading will not load until the VM page is done loading. Going back to 6.9.2 resolves the issue. since a recent problem with the system key and change of it, I have an error on the "Main" page that shows me an error from a log file the log file is present at the place where the error is indicated. Should I delete the file to get something clean or can the problem come from somewhere else?

I noticed that existing SMB network IO will halt while a new disk spins up, even if that disk has nothing to do with servicing existing IO requests. E.g. start a ffmpeg encode session for source and destination media on the SMB network share, wait for other disks to spin down, ffmpeg chugs along, open file explorer and browse around the SMB filesystem, every time you hit a share with disks spun down there will be a delay while the disks will spin up, while the disks are spinning up f

I did upgrade recently, but server worked fine after upgrade until I decided to update a few docker containers causing the server to freeze. Think this is a bug rather than user error.. I ran into something similar a few days ago. I tried to change my dns from 1.1.1.1 & 1.0.0.1 to 192.168.1.1 but it wouldnt save so then I put in 8.8.8.8 and hit apply. I then noticed my routing settings had changed but I didnt know from what just that it looked different. Took me a while to figure it out.. With more than 1 nic available when you applying setting to the next nic so eth1 or eth2 it seems to change the mac of the eth0. Its really annoying and I missed it doing it this last time so I'm locked out of the system. As it has written the mac for eth1 into eth0 and eth 1. eth2 has its normal mac. for example it should be eth0 - dd22 eth1 - xx88 eth2 - xx89 But when I was trying to set up load balancing it has chnaged the nic which is the next

Had disk1 (12TB) as btfrs. cache (256GB) as btfrs. powered down. removed cache (256GB) drive. replace cache (256GB) drive with upgraded cache2 (2TB) drive. powered up. says disc1 is unreadable. choose cache2 (2tb) as cache drive. it then says disc1 (12tb) is online. disc1 (12tb) being reported as 256GB in size. appears unraid has been using disk1 (12TB) as a mirror for cache (256GB). Is this is not a major bug? Or is it my fault

If you have parity drives bigger than array drives, the parity check will still run through all 8tb. Ex. 8tb parity, and 4tb array drive. Why bother running through the last 4tb? Would save on time and read cycles.

Happened after trying to disable Attribute SMART Monitoring on flash storage that does not report errors right. Fixed by going in and trying to do it again. Seems to randomly do it when changing and applying on one disk, then using the < > arrows to change disks instead of hitting done.

Version 6.10.3 2022-06-14 Repro: 1. Go to notifications settings 2. Go to the discord settings part 3. Add webhook URL 4. Apply 5. Done 6. Go back to notification settings -> Discord 7. Add tag id -> Apply Observations: All settings except "Agent function" are reset when saving tag id. It also happens if you set the tag id and webhook URL in the same step. For now, I'm just not setting the tag id.

Hello, from time to time this happens (random after 16-52 days uptime) during nightly backup of container data. Might not be exklusive during nightly backups but this is where it happens most of the time. I have to login and reboot to get things running again. This was originally reported here and seemed to be fixed at some point meaning the cache drive could be fully utilized. However, when I upgraded to 6.10.x the issue/bug seems to be occurring again. I have my shares set to leave 500gb free on all my array drives, however this means that when my 1tb cache drive gets to 500gb utilization, any new copies start to write to the array, The old functionality used fill up the cache drive to 1tb and then start to write to t
