Recently the /var/run went full. With df -h it shows 100% disk usage on /var/run. Some of the settings screens reports that it couldn't write something into /var/run (/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/DefaultPageLayout.php line 714 file_put_contents($nchan_pid,implode("\n",$running)."\n") couldn't write -1 of 100 bytes). After searching the most biggest file inside of /var/run I found a big log file from /var/run/docker/containerd/daemon/io.containerd.runtime.v2.task/moby/4bdf272dde

Hi guys, almost 2 weeks now with 6.11.5 and I got a couple of freezes/crashes of one of my servers. I skipped the first couple 6.11.xx releases and directly upgraded from 6.10.3 to 6.11.5. So far so good. After 2-3 days I found my main server unaccessible in the morning. Main VM with GPU passthrough, idle over night, didn't show any output in the morning and webui also wasn't reachable at this point. SSH access also not possible. Force restart the server and everything wo

On the report after the parity check (green notification), it says it took longer than it actually took. This has happened twice. The schedule is to start at 8pm.

Hello I noticed some performance degradation in the docker UI when resizing the window. I found the piece of code that causes the issue, I'm not sure if this is part of the default UI or if this is from a plugin since it references to Dynamix. webGui/javascript/dynamix.js /* readmore.js - v2.0.0, copyright Jed Foster NOT UPDATED */ c(window).on("resize", function(a) { b.resizeBoxes() }) I noticed that readmore.js has an update that fixes this. Hello, I would like to report a bug. My system is based on the following hardware: Motherboard GIGABYTE MW34-SP0-00 (W680 Chipset, Intel AlderLake CPU 12700k, 64 GB DDR4 ECC Ram, Nvidia 1070 GPU In the version Unraid 6.11 I get the following error. I only use the iGPU for Docker. The following Dockers are connected to /dev/dri/renderD128 in the configuration PLEX and Frigate. The iGPU always disappears from the system after 1-2 days of running Unraid. It t

Hey everyone, I always used unraid with access based share enum = Yes in Samba extra configuration. After updating to 6.11. none of my systems (MacOS, Windows) could access shares with \\ip-address\ or smb://ip-address/. Accessing them with \\ip-address\sharename or smb://ip-address/sharename still worked fine. After uncommenting the line in the settings, I can again see all shares, but I rather would see only the shares the connecting user has access to.

I have 4 array disks installed in Akitio NT4 USB enclosure which connect to my N5095 mini PC, they work perfectly well in 6.9.2 except no S.M.A.R.T. info available. However in 6.10.x and 6.11.x versions, these disks are not able to spin down correctly. I could spin them down manually, but only in seconds they would spin up again.

I am running Unraid on bare metal, AsRock ROMED8-2T, AMD EPYC 7302P 16-Core @ 3000 MHz, 64 GiB DDR4 Multi-bit ECC I tried to create a TrueNAS VM in order to have access to ZFS and easier iSCSi It is well known that it is better to pass through a host controller as apposed to devices (be it USB, SATA, etc.) I tried TrueNAS core and TrueNAS scale (FreeBSD and Debian respectively) How ever I could not get the VM to start even to install the OS, this would also ca

Progress window in file manager reports completely random numbers It reports 99% completed, ETA of a few minutes, and then when moving subfolder goes down to much lower number (56% here), ETA goes up by a lot. It feels like ETA and completion progress is not calculated for over main folder size but only for each subfolder How to repeat: Move a large (hundreds of GB) folder with a few subfolders containing a lot of small files (photos) and some big

config.txt # CONFIG_INTEL_PMC_CORE is not set Certain information and OS support regarding the Intel Power Management Controller is inaccessible, as the driver is not packaged by UNRAID. This device is INT33A1 and controls enabling power management to achieve lower power states, even on DESKTOP systems like mine. Intel Power Management This CONFIG is enabled by default on Ubuntu and in a LiveUSB I'm able to achieve all lower C-states, but not on Unraid (e

My UNRAID server is reporting my array is offline as it is currently doing a parity check. However the array is actually online and I am able to browse the UNRAID shares from my two Windows 10 computers. Also, UNRAID is telling me I can not use any dockers due to array being offline. BUT I was able to start Handbrake and use it. I was backing up my music collection from my Ubuntu server to Unraid. I was using FreeFileSync from my Windows computer. I had a mapped drive to the Ubuntu s

First off apologies if that gets answered somewhere, but I did not find anything similar except from the following I've tried 2 versions of unRaid 6.11.X (6.11.5 was most recent) and so far in both I had the same problem, where my Windows 10 VM can't power on after first shutdown and the server gets locked up, i.e. CPU is spiking up and unRaid GUI becomes practically unresponsive. The error in VM log is: vfio: Unable to power on device, stuck in D3 I can recover by dest

I see several other threads with similar behaviors, but others seem to be getting actual errors in logs. My server has just starting going completely unresponsive. Docker containers are inaccessible, user shares / SMB connections won't respond, no ssh access, no web UI access. I have to reset the box, and it comes up without issue, until it happens again. The latest freeze was about the 4th time in 4 days. I don't see anything in my syslog that indicates a crash, or an

Hello Dev Team, I have just updated to version 6.11.5 and if I click in the docker tab "Update all" it ends in an endless loop. The first loop is fine and updates all container. After the first loop the system tries to update all up2date container and restarts the container as well. I can interrupt this if I reload the page. Is there any update on this because this issue exists since 6.11.x? Currently I am doing the updates step by step to avoid endless rest

I've installed a new 14TB drive in my array to replace an existing 6TB drive. The drive will show the correct size in the Identification column on the main page, however even after rebuilding the array, it only shows the size of the drive as being 6 TB in the array under the size column. This seems like the same or similar bug that was in a recent release, fixed, and now back again. I've attached diagnostics from my system for reference. The drive in question is disk 13 (sdy). tower-diagn

Not sure if this is a bug or a missing feature When trying to schedule parity checks if you select monthly then you can specify the day of the month. If you want to run on specific months on a given day of the month I found if one selects the Custom option you can specify the months you want but there is no way to specify the specific day of the month on the resulting dialog. I would have thought this dialog should have allowed you to specify the day of the month as is th

Hi There, Support for the RocketRaid 3740A was dropped back in version 6.9 due to the drivers not compiling. I believe Highpoint have updated drivers now (https://www.highpoint-tech.com/rr2800-overview) - can these be added back in? I actually have a RocketRaid 2840A but the diagnostics show my card was using the 3740A drivers. It works absolutely fine with version 6.8.3 but any attempt to upgrade beyond this and all my drives disappear. Hence i'm stuck at 6.

So I've got an odd one. I use iGPU for PLEX and it's being set up via direct path to /dev/dri/renderD128 in the Preferences.xml. My machine also has 2 x 3060 Ti which I use to transcode my library from h264 to h265 once in a while and play games. The problem is the following. I need nvidia-driver to be installed in order to use tdarr transcode, but whenever the driver is installed, PLEX (docker) ignores my iGPU and tries to transcode using nvidia, then obviously fails since no nvi

I upgraded from 6.10.3 to 6.11.1. After the upgrade everything appeared to be okay, but within a couple days I found the server locked up. The gui was gone and couldn't connect remotely to the server. Went to the server physically and the screen was blank. No key presses, etc. would bring any prompt or characters to the screen. I was forced to hard reboot. Restarted the server and let it run the parity check. The parity check found some errors, but was expected due to the hard reboot.
