  1. Find the LBA's written in the smart info for the SSD (not all SSD's have it but most do). You can see the smart infor by clicking the SSD name in unraid. Copy the LBA value into that website and it should convert it into TB/GB/MB.
  2. 2 posts up shows the script I use to track SSD writes but if you are new to this, it is a bit advanced for you. You can simply click the SSD in the main unraid page and look for "total LBA written" in the smart report. Enter that number into this site: https://www.virten.net/2016/12/ssd-total-bytes-written-calculator/ You might have to play around with the multiplier to get the correct conversion to GB depending on the drive brand. This is the only way to see the actual writes to the drive. The format is also listed on the main unraid page under "FS" (aka file system). To change the format of the drive there should be a video on https://www.youtube.com/c/SpaceinvaderOne youtube.
  3. So you are splitting farming between the machines but sharing the plots via SMB? Just because you don't have enough memory / CPU on a single machine? I thought you were going to be running 2 instances of them to increase the chances. Added those new ones, been noticing that the GUI on several of the blockchains seems to lock up after farming for awhile. I think they are still farming but the GUI is just blank when I look at it. Wheat, Kale, greendoge and socks all appear to not be syncing. Guessing there are some port conflicts in there among other things.
  4. It is next to the docker name in the docker tab in unraid. It will say check for update or force update I think.
  5. Yep, did a force update and even cleared the appdata and force updated again but still gives the error.
  6. I have not used this in some time. I tried to boot it up today but it says the version is too old?
  7. ok, updated hddcoin and added the sector and sock blockchains. Although they are taking a long time to load.
  8. Odd, I just updated today without doing all that and it seems to be working, finding proofs and synced up. Maybe I should do all that anyways?
  9. Another to add to the list, what is the 17th's fork you are running? I have the 16 from the last post. Just updated them and added in 4x 4tb drives to my farmer. Sure enough, was able to plot 4TB/day per server. Seeing as chia is a bust and these poop coins do not instill confidence, I don't think it is worth tossing my brand new drives at them. So most likely ride like this for awhile. 48TB total. Also testing mining ergo with my old Vega 56's in the same farmer. Trying to decide if I should mine with them or sell them for the ~$600 they are worth right now. Looks like they are making $2.50-3 a day now.
  10. What thing is that? I just went through and updated all the forks from this post Nothing stood out about hddcoin.
  11. Worth a shot. I flashed my onboard LSI 2208 to a 2008 on my supermicro board. There were a few hoops to jump through but it did it. Look up guides on flashing IT firmware to get the process down, you will basically be following that process as you want the IT firmware anyways.
  12. Well that really sucks, be sure to try flashing the adapter, the firmware flashing software is pretty powerful and can recover a lot of things.
  13. lol, I have not even begun to dig that deep into things. I actually almost got into mining back in 2010, right after bitcoin came out. I had 5 gaming computers that were sitting around doing nothing and almost set them all to mine. But it was hot and in the summer and I was worried about the electric costs and keeping the house cool so I passed. I then almost got into it again in 2012 when someone was telling me about it but I figured if you are not first, you are last and figured it would peter out soon anyways so passed again. I would be a millionaire now if I had followed my gut either time lol. I actually only starting mining of any kind a few months ago when bitcoin shot up and realized my gaming systems could make decent money mining at night. All that to say, I am still very new to crypto and mining. I barely know how to use crypto, at this point all I have managed to do was make 2 small orders with bitcoin lol. I want to trade my bitcoin for ravencoin since it's halving is coming up and seems like a reasonable use of $100. All the exchanges I looked into want my ID and pictures and other super creepy stuff, screw that. I don't even know what I will do with these poop coins lol.

  17. Ok, gonna be posting a lot of logs, mostly for my own reference and anyone that might find this on google. 18. Decided to fill up a few 4tb drives I found and playing with another server and the latest madmax plotter. I put 256gb of ram in the system and turns out if you have nothing else running it is JUST enough to plot 100% in memory. at peak I had 2.5gb free. This system is a bit more powerful with 2x 10c/20t CPU's and it allowed me to get under the 30 min barrier! 27 mins to be exact Number of Threads: 40 Number of Buckets P1: 2^9 (512) Number of Buckets P3+P4: 2^9 (512) Working Directory: /media/chia/ramdisk/ Working Directory 2: /media/chia/ramdisk/ [P1] Table 1 took 12.2723 sec [P1] Table 2 took 120.279 sec, found 4294841903 matches [P1] Table 3 took 133.992 sec, found 4294868118 matches [P1] Table 4 took 144.466 sec, found 4294707806 matches [P1] Table 5 took 143.048 sec, found 4294550428 matches [P1] Table 6 took 140.253 sec, found 4294161353 matches [P1] Table 7 took 112.145 sec, found 4293318965 matches Phase 1 took 806.491 sec [P2] max_table_size = 4294967296 [P2] Table 7 scan took 7.45923 sec [P2] Table 7 rewrite took 37.6718 sec, dropped 0 entries (0 %) [P2] Table 6 scan took 27.0937 sec [P2] Table 6 rewrite took 37.4811 sec, dropped 581375547 entries (13.5387 %) [P2] Table 5 scan took 27.1478 sec [P2] Table 5 rewrite took 36.2057 sec, dropped 762024300 entries (17.744 %) [P2] Table 4 scan took 24.4502 sec [P2] Table 4 rewrite took 36.3529 sec, dropped 828898653 entries (19.3005 %) [P2] Table 3 scan took 25.147 sec [P2] Table 3 rewrite took 37.2155 sec, dropped 855139219 entries (19.9107 %) [P2] Table 2 scan took 23.8146 sec [P2] Table 2 rewrite took 36.876 sec, dropped 865568216 entries (20.1537 %) Phase 2 took 378.158 sec Wrote plot header with 268 bytes [P3-1] Table 2 took 35.8318 sec, wrote 3429273687 right entries [P3-2] Table 2 took 30.8426 sec, wrote 3429273687 left entries, 3429273687 final [P3-1] Table 3 took 47.6665 sec, wrote 3439728899 right entries [P3-2] Table 3 took 30.5299 sec, wrote 3439728899 left entries, 3439728899 final [P3-1] Table 4 took 48.0524 sec, wrote 3465809153 right entries [P3-2] Table 4 took 30.8944 sec, wrote 3465809153 left entries, 3465809153 final [P3-1] Table 5 took 48.5611 sec, wrote 3532526128 right entries [P3-2] Table 5 took 30.5813 sec, wrote 3532526128 left entries, 3532526128 final [P3-1] Table 6 took 50.2101 sec, wrote 3712785806 right entries [P3-2] Table 6 took 31.649 sec, wrote 3712785806 left entries, 3712785806 final [P3-1] Table 7 took 52.0859 sec, wrote 4293318965 right entries [P3-2] Table 7 took 36.3718 sec, wrote 4293318965 left entries, 4293318965 final Phase 3 took 479.049 sec, wrote 21873442638 entries to final plot [P4] Starting to write C1 and C3 tables [P4] Finished writing C1 and C3 tables [P4] Writing C2 table [P4] Finished writing C2 table Phase 4 took 54.5431 sec, final plot size is 108813138567 bytes Total plot creation time was 1718.34 sec (28.639 min) I was testing it before with using a SAS raid for the temp and it was around 36 mins. I have more testing to do but looks like I will go back to using the SAS temp as while you can plot in memory with 256gb, you need to wait for it to copy to the disk in order to start the next plot, this delay will end up causing it to be a wash I am guessing. There are some new option in the plotter I am going to play with as well to see if I can gain anything but I will be happy with ~35 min plot times. Was fun to see some ~7 year old hardware cracking the 30 min mark though.
  19. I used to go through 4-5 cars a year. Find it cheap, fix it up, get offered more then I paid and move on to the next one lol. Allowed me to drive a lot of nice cars though, had my driveway full of RX7's, 300ZX, MR2, Supras etc for a few years, all modded of course.
  20. Odd, just noticed that the only ip kale is trying to connect to it 127.0.0.1 and if I try to add that one it just never adds.
  21. Fantastic, thanks for that! Adding the missing blockchains now and letting them sync. I noticed that Kale is not syncing from the other day, is it working for you? Started those others syncing, my CPU is crying lol. I am also up to 20gb of ram used as well. Gonna guess your swap file is getting one heck of a workout.
  22. You got a bunch more then me right now. I am missing Avocado DogeCoin Flora GreenDoge Happen to have links to these? It is so hard to find links to these things on google for some reason. Think I decided to stick with solo plots for now since chia is a bust and the forks are the only reason I am still farming. Going to add a few more drives to the farm for a little while as well.
  23. yeah, I know you can mount them into a folder, it is just more work lol.
