FTP disabled on reboot. Files deleted.
Sorry for the delay in replying. I created a share specifically for the camera. I also created a user specifically for the camera and gave it access to the share. In the description of the user I put... ftpuser /mnt/user/<username> Thanks.

FTP disabled on reboot. Files deleted.
Hi All. I backup my Reolink security camera recordings to my Unraid server via the built in FTP server. I rebooted by server yesterday and the FTP server disabled (I understand this is by design). If that wasnt bad enough the files in the share I created solely for FTP backup are no longer there. Is this meant to happen? Many thanks in advance.

Converted Cache from BTRFS to ZFS - Power Consumption dropped!
Hi All. I very rarely post but I do lurk occasionally totry and expand my knowledge and fine tune my server. So I really appreciate the the time and effort everyone makes to share their experiences. With that in mind I just wanted to share my own experience when moving my cache from BTRFS to ZFS. Originally I had x2 NVME SSD (both formatted BTRFS) in addition to my x5 Disk HDD Array (formatted XFS) that spins down. x1 Samsung SM961 256GB used as Cache for Appdata etc. x1 Samsung 990 Pro 1TB used as Media Cache for Media. I recently bought x2 Crucial T500 2TB NVME SSDs and reconfigured everything as follows: x1 Samsung 990 Pro 1TB (formatted ZFS) used as Cache for Appdata etc. x1 Samsung SM961 256GB (formatted ZFS) used as Back-up Pool for ZFS Snaphots and backups. x2 Crucial T500 2TB (formatted BTRFS) mirrored and used as Media Pool. Mover Tuner moves media to the Array based on age once the pool is above 90% Note: My Smart Plug at the wall measures the server, router and UPS combined. So the value for the Server alone is about 10W less than the figures shown below. When the cache was formatted to BTRFS my smart plug showed around 40W when idle but every few seconds would spike to 70W. I figured this could have been the UPS. Now the cache is formatted ZFS my smart plug shows around 40W when idle but no longer spikes. It just sits there at a near constant 40W. Everything I'd read suggested ZFS would be more power hungry. Is it the file system making the difference or could it be the 990 Pro is more simply more efficient than the SM961? This is with an Intel i5-12600K in an MSI PRO Z790-P WiFi with 32GB DDR5 powered by a Cooler Master V650 Gold V2.

unRAID 7 WebUI dashboard slow to load (few seconds)
Same here. Short delay in the Dashbiard loading even using the ip address of the server.

Unraid can't automatically reconnect to network after automatic router restart
My mistake probably. I entered the command and lost connection as I did it over LAN rather than through the GUI directly at the server. I figured the server rebooted. So is there a way of having Unraid automatically detect when the network is down and restart the network service? Thanks for helping out.

Unraid can't automatically reconnect to network after automatic router restart
Many thanks. Will this stick and therefore be applied at every restart? Edit: I entered the command, server rebooted then no access. Not sure if I explained the issue clearly but if the ethernet cable is disconnected tgen reconnected, or the router is rebooted Unraid does not reconnect. Thanks again.

Unraid can't automatically reconnect to network after automatic router restart
Did you get to the bottom of this? Same happening to me. Reboot router and cannot connect to server. I have to reboot the server by using the restart button on my pc case. Cheers.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
Not sure if this is a genuine issue but whatever I change VERSION to (latest, docker, public etc) it only pulls the latest repository. I've force updated numerous times and it still does the same thing. Is there only one version available currently? Thanks in advance.

Web GUI/SSH/Samba not working but dockers are?
I'm having the same issue. Dockers all working but they can't seem to talk to eachother. Cannot access unraid login gui using IP address. Shares not showing on Windows PC.

[SOLVED] Spinning down
Rather than the SMART Read either spinning the disks up or preventing them from spinning down, I believe it's Plex do it instead and the SMART Reads are just happening because the disks are already spinning.

[Support] ich777 - Application Dockers
Wow that was quick! I assume it's the default English version. It's in English and I'm in England. Thanks for responding so fast.

I'm extremely new to Unraid, but I also have this same issue. I've just installed this version after having some issues with the binhex version. So I thought I'd give this one a try instead.
