Move Dashboard modules between columns

Featured Replies

There's another thread about part of this in General Support...

-It would be great if we could freely arrange the modules on the Dashboard. Specifically, moving things (like the network graph or RAM usage) horizontally between columns.

- Also, having the layout stay where it's put, rather than reverting randomly when the page is refreshed would be fantastic.

- Perhaps a [Save Layout] / [Restore Layout] option could be integrated?

  • AWESOME!!!!  Thanks so much for listening to the community! This is one of the many things that makes Unraid so vastly superior to other competing platforms in my opinion.  I just love the involvement

  • Currently testing this feature, should come in the next Unraid version.

In line with the save/restore option, it would be nice if modules weren't so easy to move around. I've dragged a module to a random place when trying to highlight a piece of text more than once.

Trying out 6.9.2, and my dashboard is SO unbalanced; left column FULL/TALL, right column....almost empty.

Such segregation! TskTskTsk

This isn't something we should be expecting to be implemented any time real soon. I mean, it would be nice, but this thread is just the feature request.

It means that we're asking the devs "Please can you consider this feature when you get time - please? 😁".

As much as this bugs me, and I'd surely love to have it right now, I'm sure they have lots of other, more urgent things on the 'to do' list. :)

This would be AMAZING - lets get this comment count up and maybe they'll notice it more. lol

Frustrating that the one side is so over crowded and the center / right have next to nothing and we can't move things to make more sense within columns.

Please let us move the dashboard items

I use the dashboard fairly regularly and this would be amazing, please!

Thanks to everyone for all the support!

So I think it's obvious that this is a feature many would like to see. Other than our posting here, though, I'm not sure what else we can do to get the attention of the Devs. Hopefully they keep an eye on this area of the forum (what would be the point otherwise?) and will incorporate this feature into a future release.

For all us OCD neat freak controlling types, it sure would be nice to be able to balance our dashboards a bit. :)
I mean, even pfSense offers this type of basic UI customization. Just saying.... lol

+1 Please make this a happen.

Definitely a +1 from me, as others have said, 1 column is starting to get ridiculous compared to the other 2.

Please make this so, it would be so nice to be able to organize the columns to see what I want where!

This would be an awesome feature. I would much rather be able to see my system performance (CPU, RAM, NICs, fans, UPS) without scrolling than to be able to see my share info or have a giant blank area because I only have 6 drives.
