Hi all, i switched from AsRock H110M-ITX , i5-7400 to a AsRock H570M-ITX , i5-11400 (Rocket Lake), 16GB RAM. When using powertop, only ACPI states show up (C1 to C3). Idle consumption is also quite high with 30W compared to 19W with my old setup. I have installed the INTEL Plugin and used the CLI-commands. Further, deepl sleep and the c-states are activated in the BIOS. Any ideas, what might be the reason, why i can't see the C1-C10 states? Thanks for the help!!

Hallo, ich hatte zuvor ein AsRock H110M-ITX mit einem i5-7400 und habe jetzt auf ein H570M-ITX mit einem i5-11400 (Rocket Lake) upgegradet. Wie auch schon bei anderen in diesem Thread, habe bekomme ich nur ACPI States in Powertop angezeigt (wie im Screenshot). Das INTEL Plugin und auch den CLI-Command dazu hatte ich schon ausgeführt. Im Bios habe ich Deep Sleep und die C-States aktiviert Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte? Danke für die Hilfe!

Hi, always when i want to start my array, Firefox asks me the following: "To view this page, the data sent by Firefox must be resent, which repeats all actions previously performed". If i accept, the array is nonfunctional (all the drives show up, but on the bottom of the main page, there is only the option to reboot instead of the normal "Move", "Spin Down",...). Any ideas why this behavior might occur? Thanks a lot!

The aspect with the Raspberry Pi makes sense - in fact, i have a RPI 1 laying around. The Plex Download won't work for me and the feature seems to need some kind of DNS Rebind which i could change in Pi Hole. But maybe I should just go the RPI route

Hi, i'd like to use PiHole as a container on Unraid but I had to determine explicit DNS servers in the Unraid network settings. Otherwise it would point to the Unraid server via the router again (gets the DNS address from the router which is on the Unraid). Is there any way to resolve DNS requests by the Unraid server with the PiHole Container running on Unraid? Maybe a dedicated NIC could help? or VLANS? I am very thankfull for any idea how to solve this. Thanks a lot!

Did you find any solution or ideas? I also try to run pihole but can't use DNS on Unraid itself and thought of a dedicated port as well

Hallo, ich bin aktuell auf der Suche nach einer neuen PSU für ein kleineres Gehäuse für mein NAS. Ich habe mit Prime95 den Verbrauch getestet und dabei den Verbrauch während Disk Spin-up bei 90-93Watt gemessen. Jetzt stell ich mir die Frage, ob ein Pico PSU mit 120 W ausreichend ist, wenn ich mir noch Headroom für eine 4 HDD (aktuell 3) lassen will bzw. ob die 20 Pins überhaupt mit meinem ASRock H110M-ITX und dem i5-7400 kompatibel sind. Bei dem 120 Watt Modell ist der 4 Pin Connector für die CPU ja nicht dabei. Dann habe ich mir das 150-Watt Modell angesehen, finde dazu aber keine guten AC Adapter bzw. keine mit DoE Level VI wie von @mgutt vorgeschlagen. Ich wäre sehr dankbar für jede Hilfe!!

Hi, i'm on 6.11.0 rc4 and uninstalled NerdPack. First, i tried to install Powertop via Slackware but struggled with it and uninstalled the package with Un-Get by ich777 . Now, powertop is still on the system, but i would like to do a clean install with it being uninstalled first. Thanks for the help!

Up till now i had two 6 TB WD Red Plus (1 parity, 1 array), 1 500 MX SSD as cache and wanted to add the spare 6 TB WD Blue HDD to the array. Right now, my system is on 6.11.0-rc3. Thanks a lot! thonas-diagnostics-20220824-1427.zip

Yess, exactly! When i change to 2.5 Gbit NICs on each the Server AND PC, i reached the gigabit, so it was probably the Killer 2205!

@sdhayes I've had a simliar issue with my NIC, i think. I bought a new NIC, because i thought, i might have ruined the NIC on the Mainboard.

Hello! I tried to change my MTU to 9KB since i got only about 80MB/s even though i bought a dedicated Switch (TL SG108e). Both Unraid NIC (I219V) and PC NIC(Killer 2205) support at least 9KB Jumbo Frames. When i changed the bond mode to round robin and the frames to 9000 in unraid, everthing froze. I thought it might be due to possible incompability with round robin in my switch but it also happend for MTU 9000 (without any other change), MTU 4000 (without any other change) and even when changing the IPv4 setting to static (which is set to static in my ISP router). After every change i made in the network settings, the GUI froze and i had to delete the /boot/config/network.cfg in order to gain access after a reboot. Did i miss something? Thanks in advance!
