Im Endeffekt kann man auch "/etc/localtime" von Unraid auf den Container mappen. READ-ONLY!!!!! Das müsste das "Problem" nachhaltig lösen. Weil wenn man den Container übers GUI ändert oder den Container updated ist TZDATA wieder futschi, außer man baut sich den selber zusammen

Die TZ variable wird immer gesendet bei Unraid. Ohne tzdata im Container bringt das aber nix. Da wird dann das genommen, was der Author verwendet hat.

Was steht denn bei Unraid unter "Einstellungen -> Datum und Zeit"(Settings -> Date and Time) für ne Zeitzone? Für das Dockercontainer Problem, kommt drauf an ob die Container tzdata installiert haben. Die sollten sich dann das passend ziehen.

You could try to set the DOCKER_OPTS variable in the docker.cfg in config/docker.cfg But i have no clue if that will work.

The auto-start order is determined by the order the containers are listed on the docker page, from top to bottom. Pre 6.12 you can just drag and drop to change the order, Post 6.12 you need to hit the little lock icon on the right hand side of the menu bar before youre able to do so.

Normal ist das definitiv nicht, also von alleine. Prä 6.12.X hat Unraid die Datei nur geändert wenn man tatsächlich im GUI das speichert. Ist die config dann nicht gültig, was bei shim-br0 ohne gestarteten Array der Fall ist, startet der Tunnel einfach nicht. Ob 6.12.x das nun geändert hat und versucht die Datei zu aktualisieren, das weiß ich nicht. Denke Mal dass alle bis 6.12.3 dies nicht tun. 6.12.4 wäre hier allerdings unter macvlan mit shim-br0 verkehrt weil es vhost0 sein müsste. Außer es ist ipvlan eingestellt und die Bridge ist aktiviert. Dazu kann ich aber nix sagen weil ich nur mit fritzboxen und Speedports hantieren kann. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn, von alleine dass sich die Datei ändert wäre mir neu.

Hab alles mögliche versucht. Die einzige Variabel ist tatsächlich Unraid selbst. Mal gucken ob's futsch ist in der Zukunft. Bin in der Zwischenzeit wieder auf 11.5 gewechselt. Läppert sich ja das blöde Watt bei der kleinen Gesamtmenge. Könnt natürlich mal gucken ob das an der Plattform liegen könnte, müsst dann aber mal schauen wann ich länger den Server offline nehmen könnte damit ich 'nen anderen Rechner ans Messgerät hängen kann. Update: Kurios. Ich habe es mal mit ner Haswell Platform versucht. Da war der Verbrauch tatsächlich bei 6.12.4 niedriger im vergleich mit 6.11.5.

Huh? Das wäre mir neu. Hatte das Mal ausprobiert. LAN 1 und 2 auf unraid, 3 und 4 PC und das hat wunderbar funktioniert. Musst das nur sein lassen weil ich Ports für was anderes brauche und ich hier nen paar Programme habe die mich andauernd ausloggen wenn nen anderer physischer nic benutzt wird und das macht mich wahnsinnig.

To follow up on @Squidanswer, in your example everything would be tagged as "latest" if it's fetched from the docker repo. unless you set a tag manually but thats already displayed if you do it.

Das Dockerverzeichnis kann man getrost löschen. Also das in System/Docker/Docker bzw falls es die .img ist /System/Docker/Docker.img Das einzige was man machen muss ist über den App-"Store" die Container neu runter laden. Die permanenten Daten sind alle unter /appdata und /cloud in dem Fall

Falls auch VMs betrieben werden, dann müsste Domains und vielleicht auch Isos auf die SSD gepackt werden. (Bei den Isos nur relevant falls die dauerhaft gemounted sind)

Da fällt mir gerade auf: Wo ist denn das Dockerverzeichnis? in System? Das sollte definitiv nicht auf dem Array liegen sondern auch auf der SSD.

Das ist keine Raketenwissenschaft. Die Einstellung ist unter setting -> global share settings

Bin mal neugierig. Mit ist aufgefallen dass seit meinem Update von 6.11.5 auf 6.12.4 mein Messgerät nen ~1 Watt höheren verbrauch meldet. Kann das jemand bestätigen? Hab das gerade nochmal nachgeguckt und bei 6.11.5 komm ich auf 14.4 - 14.9 Wattbereich wenn nix außer 1 Docker Container läuft und bei 6.12.4 ist es 15.3-16.1 Watt. Bei "Semi-Last" war ich bei knapp unter 20 Watt unter 6.12.4 und bei 6.11.5 ist es 17.3-17.7 Watt

Thats practically impossible on the same network. As @JonathanM said, thats a good way. Otherwise iptables would be a friend.

You have to have something, a usb thumbdrive for example, in Disk 1 of the Array. Currently you're unable to start "Unraid" without a single device in the "Unraid Array"

Unraid has been up for a couple of days and absolutely nothing popped up on my system. neat.🥳

Das liegt daran -> Wenn man unter Internet->Zugrangsart-DNS Server den Eintrag setzt, dann ist die Fritzbox immer noch der "Hauptdns". Die Fritzbox fragt dann für alle Clients den DNS Server an. Man müsste es über "Heimnetz - Netzwerk -> Netzwerkeinstellungen" -> Runter scrollen und weitere Einstellungen links unten klicken -> IPv4-Einstellungen und auch IPVv6 Einstellungen eintragen. Dort sind für die jeweiligen Protokolle die DHCP Einstellungen. Dort müsste man die ips für den gewünschten DNS Server eintragen. Dann bekommen die Clients die Infos beim nächsten verbinden mitgeteilt. In dem 1. Bild wurde dort die GUA (die 2a02:8071: Adresse) eingetragen, das ist ein Problem. Da muss die fd00 Adresse oder fe80 rein. Ich bin mir da nicht ganz sicher worums hier geht. Die Anzeige der Docker Seite? Da stehen nur die ipv4 Adressen. Dass das ganze sonst richtig funktioniert ist ja schon erledigt. Deine Container bekommen ja ipv6 Adressen. Ich würde die native ipv6-Anbindung verwenden, wenn man ipv6 benutzt. Das ist aber nur relevant für Internet-Verkehr, intern ist das irrelevant. Die eine IP Adresse, 127.0.0.1, das ist ne spezielle IP. Das ist localhost. Die Fritzbox kann da nur sich selbst ansprechen mit. Nur so nebenbei.

Der Fehler ist gefunden. Wenn man macvlan nutzen möchte und auf 6.12.4 ist, muss man die bridge deaktivieren. Steht auch hier https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/release-notes/6.12.4/

You didnt read the notes that state to disable the bridge if you use macvlan. Edit: ive had to edit this so much cause i opened the wrong log file first, but yeah, disable the bridge/bridges since you do have br0 and br1.

the auto tune is too aggresive and turns off the NIC when theres absolutely nothing going on on the network and never turns it back on again. Edit: or also the (Runtime PM for I2C Adapter (i915 gmbus dpb) i cant remember why i turned it off, i know it had a reason but honestly i have no clue why now Edit #2: I did see that the PCI Devices is disabled/commented out, thats was on my end the important second line because my NIC is treated as PCI device. But you would have to check how it works in your setup.
