[Support] binhex - Flaresolverr
Hi everyone, I have most of my stack created by a docker compose so that the traffic will go trhough gluetun VPN. The issue is that Prowlarr seems unable to contact Flaresolverr even if FS started fine. There is some way to make Flamesolverr works while using Gluetun?

Guida pratica: Notifiche Unraid su Bot Telegram
Una piccola nota per chi come me aveva giá un bot e non riceve le notifiche: bisogna comunque mandare /start anche se il bot é attivo e funzionante Even if you have a bot already working you have to send the /start in the bot chat. Otherwise it won't work

Help configuring split folders
Thanks for the ansewr! If I exclude disk1,2 and 3 I think it will apply split level and allocation method to "small folders" too right? If possibile I would prefer them to keep all files on the disk I put them. Basically I only want the big folders to be split on disk4,5 while keeping small folders to remain where they are now even if I add new files to them

Help configuring split folders
Hi everyone, I have my data all in one share and since It was getting full i had to add 2 disks. I would like to use this new disks only for some folders. I have multiple smaller folder (under 1TB), 3 big folder(over 1TB) and the download folder. The smaller folders are fine, but I would like to use the new disks only for the 3 big folders and the download one. Basically this is my configuration: What I want my configuration to be is Is it possibile to do it? I was thinking to use high-water and with "manual split level". I would have to create folders in disk 4 and 5 but then I think it should split it like I tried to describe right?

Hi, I'm on unraid 7.0.1 and I tried to install the IT87 driver since I have gigabyte b860m Eagle for my intel ultra 235 . Even after installing and installing it the fan controller won't appear in dynamix fan controller Do I have to wait for the unraid 7.1 update or should I open a ticket in the IT87 github page?

It's possible to split selected folders?
Tha's fine, I want unraid to balance the new files of those selected folders only, and to place them only the new hard disks. The old ones will remain in the current disks

It's possible to split selected folders?
Yeah, I wanted to uderstand better the split level. 1) If I set High-water and Split level "manual" what will happen if I create a folder manually on disk4? It will balance it? 2) Otherwise it's possible to apply split level only on some folder?

It's possible to split selected folders?
Hi everyone, I have 3 huge folders, one on each disk. Now I've added two other disks. I would like to have those 3 folders to be split on those 2 disks based on high-water. So basically this is how I would like to have my folders. I also added a detail for where I would like to have files disk 1 -> huge folder 1, random folders |_ Weddings 1 -> all files of weddings 1 are on disk 1 disk 2 -> huge folder 2, random folders disk 3 -> huge folder 3, random folders disk 4-> huge folder 1,2,3 |_ Weddings 2 -> all files of weddings 2 are on disk 4 disk 5 -> huge folder 1,2,3 |_ Weddings 3 -> all files of weddings 3 are on disk 5 it's possible to do that? if so, how?

[Plugin] Mover Tuning
Hi everyone, I wanted to use mover tuning mostly to keep 3 folders always on the cache SSD. It's possible to set up that it will sync only those 3 folder and that it will move all the others? I would like the document folder to always be on the SSD so that read times are improved, but the Download folder can be moved to array at night for example

Which cards to add 8 sata HDDs to my new server?
I found it in this reddit thread:

Which cards to add 8 sata HDDs to my new server?
Yeah, I found out a few minutes later that the 10 sata ports has a sata multiplier. Sadly I had to pull the trigger on the 6 port ASM1166 because of the shipping timing. Also I read that LSI 9300 prevent the PC to go into sleep/hibernation. Is it true?

Which cards to add 8 sata HDDs to my new server?
Hi everyone, I need to buy a new expansion card for my server and I need at least 6 sata ports, 8 would be better. I ended up selecting those two for the price and shipping times: - SAS CARD: https://www.amazon.it/Internal-Controller-Broadcoms-Compatible-9300-8I/dp/B07VV91L61?__mk_it_IT=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=3LQ1OAPL4VDU7&s=pc&sprefix=lsi%2B9300%2Ccomputers%2C113&sr=1-4&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.9d4f9b77-768c-4a4e-94ad-33674c20ab35&th=1 I would also need to buy the cables, so it would be 130€ total. This are the cables: https://www.amazon.it/10Gtek-interno-SFF-8087-maschio-femminile/dp/B01L8ATGAA?__mk_it_IT=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=2F9MV6JOPLNWE&sprefix=cavo%2Bmini%2Bsas%2Caps%2C148&sr=8-5&th=1 I selected the ones without locking latches since they are usually more damage than usefull - SATA CARD: https://www.amazon.it/dp/B08L7W8QFT?th=1 Considering that the cables are included it would be 50€. I won't plan to connect SSDs to the expansion card, I wanted to connect them to the motherboard directly. Which one would you suggest to buy? Are SAS card really that better than normal sata?

Keep document folder always in the primary storage for reading purpose
Hi everyone, I'm building a new NAS and I'm plannig to have a the user Data where I have all my files and a device SSD that I use as primary device. If I have understood well, the mover feature will move ALL my files from the primary SSD to the Data Array every day. That mean that if that if I read often from a folder like Document I'll read from the array. What I would like it would be to have a some folder always in the primary SSD that get synchronized and some folder (like download) that get moved. For example I could have this folders in the array - Download - Document - Photos If I download a file a and edit a file from documents they would get saved in the primary disk: - Download\new file - document\editet file After running the mover this is what I would like to have ARRAY: - Download -> with new file - Document -> with the edit file - Photos SSD: - Document\ new files - NO Download folder because it has been moved Would it be possible to do that without creating multiple user shares?

[Plugin] Mover Tuning
Hi everyone, I wanted to ask a few questions about "Sync primary to secondary (for "parity")" settings. I have few folders that I access often and I would like to always be on the primary disk (the cache SSD). Since they are small folders with small files I prefer to have them on the SSD rather than having the HDDs spun up just to check a document. With this settings I can do that? And if I delete a file or edit I will edit the version on the primary disk while the copy on the array won't be updated until the schedule won't start up again right?

Migrating from OMV to Unraid! Need some help to how configure my array
thanks, so if I can't put the SSD into the array I have two questions Plan A: use the 1TB SSD for cache -> can I force a folder to alwasy be in the cache SSD? Plan B: Use the SSD but not in the array -> Can I expose the samba share as the SSD and Array are a unique disk? So I will have the array with my folders and the SSD with the others exposed as one disk instead of 2

Migrating from OMV to Unraid! Need some help to how configure my array
Hi everyone! I'm building my new NAS and i'll soon move from OMV to unraid. I currently have 2 RAID1 that I see as a 1 disk thanks to MergeFS. Moving to Unraid I wanted to make an array and add some disks. - 2 spare disks - 4/5 disk for data - 1 1TB SSD I wanted to have my folders all in one disk (for example photos into disk1), but one folder is to big and it should be better to balance it between one or more disks. The end result that I would be something like that: - disk 1: Video, folder 1 - disk 2: video, folder 2 - disk 3: folder 3, etc. Also the SSD.. Should I put it into the array or just keep it as cache? I loved that idea that all files are created/edited/readed on the cache SSD and then copied in the array at night. My question is: there are some folders that I use all the time so I would like to have them always in cache ready to be read/writed. Would it be possible?
