  1. Minor change suggestion to the wiki: It actually is "unassigned" not "no device" on 6.2.4.
  2. Thanks for pointing that out. I don't have any user shares set to cache-no, so I think I'm good in that respect.
  3. I think I'm ready to start the conversion process on 8 RFS disks. Couple questions, if someone would be so kind: I know it will vary based on hardware, but generally, how long should a full 4TB drive take to copy ? Most of my disks are 5400rpm (parity is 7200 though), so I'm already prepared for a long process. I would imagine it would be less than a preclear if I don't do the second checksum validation... If I have a cache pool and disable the mover, assuming I don't delete or change any files, anything added to a user share should stay on the cache and not hit my actual disks, right? I ask because I'd rather speed up the process and not evoke the rsync -rcvPX command. At least not for every disk conversion. Has anyone tried performing 2 simultaneous copies to separate disks before? I wonder if that would speed up the process. Thanks! And thanks to all who contributed to documenting this conversion process.
  4. Congrats, LSIO! This official partnership with Plex is awesome. Please do let us know if the improvements that Plex says they made to the container have been made available on this version.
  5. Perhaps it's the Nest plugin. I use the liftmaster2 plugin with my Chamberlain garage opener, as well as the BigAssFans module. It definitely can get a little wonky after a week or two of running, but I can absolutely issue multiple commands or use the iOS 10 home app no problem.
  6. Maybe I'm oversimplifying this, but why not just create a /transcode mapping to whereever you want it to go. Then, within the Plex settings, go to Server Settings | Transcoder | Advanced Settings and enter /transcode to the transcoder temporary directory.
  7. I appreciate your sharing the container with the community. I am getting great use out of it.
  8. Thanks again, Adair! Do you plan on regularly updating the template to keep up-to-date with homebridge, by chance? I ask because there seems to have been quite a bit of development lately on the github. Appreciate your efforts!
  9. Fixed that right up. I had never even seen the force update option before. Thanks!
  10. All of my Linuxserver containers had an update last night except for Plexpy. This is new: Thoughts?
  11. Sure. Get your running Docker container names with: docker ps Then enter the Docker shell: docker exec -it homebridge /bin/bash Then uninstall your plugin(s) with: sudo npm uninstall -g <plugin name like hombridge-whatever> Doing this from memory so my commands may be off slightly.
  12. I've had moderate success entering the Docker container shell and executing an npm uninstall command.
  13. Thank you for this! First time installing it on unRAID and it works great! Now have my Haiku fan and Chamberlain garage door opener homekit-enabled!
  14. Apologies if this has been asked before, but is there a recommended interval to run SSD Trim? Would this interval be influenced if I'm running a cache pool of multiple SSDs? Thanks in advance!
  15. Back up and running for me! Thank you if anything was done behind the scenes!
  16. So this has happened a few times now, but I never see anything about it in the sab forums. Is this the same PPA that everyone else uses? Does this problem only seem to become apparent when used within a Docker? So confused why it affects us (unRAID users) but not the sab userbase as a whole. Edit: Not sure if this can be circumvented on the container side by incorporating "six", but that's what QNAP users did apparently to solve their similar issue.
  17. If I were a betting man, I'd say that's due to the web client transcoding. Maybe download OpenPHT to see if you experience the same issue.
  18. What client are you using? OpenPHT or Plex Media Player? You don't necessarily have to use another computer, just try another client. I can keep my OpenPHT on Mac paused for as long as I want without issue. The only problem may be that unRAID has spun my disks down during that time and requires a bit more time to spin back up before the video will fully resume. Other clients sometimes kick me out of the pause after a while if its being transcoded... really is quite client-dependent (which would have little or nothing to do with this Docker container).
  19. Awesome plugin! Two minor suggestions: First, it might be nice to have an option to not automatically perform the scan/tests upon accessing the Plugin. I know I just wanted to look at what options were available to me, but then it was scanning for a few minutes. Secondly, when suggested fixes are selected, it takes me to whatever section I chose, but then it has to scan again when I return to the plugin. Maybe a pop-up with the area to fix? Just some thoughts.
  20. Wow. It really is that simple. I just confirmed that Plex is indeed creating the transcode files in /tmp when mapped (and set within PMS settings). I tried it on this version before and it didn't work for me. Guess it's just one of those things. Thank you to you both.
  21. No. As a test, I entered the container, navigated to the mapped folder, and did a "touch test" to create a file. Exited the container and looked at that folder. Nada. Here's the weird thing. If I unmounted the tmpfs or the symlink to /tmp, then the file showed up.
  22. Ok, well I tried symlinking a folder under unRAID to /tmp, then mapping that directory for the container. No go. Also tried creating a new tmpfs mount, and that didn't work either. Despite Plex's desire to limit transcoding to tmpfs, does anyone know how to go about exposing a tmpfs folder for use within Docker? I'm all out of ideas with my limited knowledge. I'd really like to transcode to RAM, as I have plenty of extra to use. Thanks!
  23. Confirmed that utilizing the ADVANCED_DISABLEUPDATES variable let sab launch. Which is weird is that it had been working with v.1.0.2 for the last few weeks, and now that I have enabled that variable, it's running 1.0.1. Is this the related issue? I wonder if we need to report it over there...
  24. Yup. Also not working here. Weird, because I haven't touched my server at all today. Wonder why it bombed out.
