Any EE-ATX cases out there?
PSU arrived and fitted .... cables are too short, i've given up for today. . Tomorrow i'll remove psu, try it out of the case to test the build and take it from there. Cables are woefully short all round, this being an EE-ATX board with the power connectors located at the top of the case. You'd think i'd have seen that one coming! Anyone know, do Corsair make extension cables at all? Extension cables would make it nicer but i managed to connect what i needed to check out build uh,oh.

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
My case hasnt got top fans so i'm guessing a front to back arrangement with a bottom and rear fan should be ok then .... everything's in, just waiting for a psu, supplier (scan) let me down !

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
youre right ... i need to have at least two slots populated for 1 cpu. May as well just add in all 4 alongwith second processor. Quick question ... which way is recpmmended airflow on the x9 board? I cant find anything in the manual about the x10 boards flow, nothing on the board itself either.

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
thanls SimonF ... i'll see if its in the manual but am only going to run an 'open' system on an Unraid trial key for a few days to make sure everythings stable before considering what i move across from my other two systems. Just wanted an idea of if it will run on only one cpu or not .....

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
Motherboard fitted in, just! Still waiting on cpus. psu and drive trays. Just wondering guys, on a dual cpu build do i power on for the first time with only 1 cpu to check all runs ok and then upgrade to two once i'm happy that my system runs or do you just chuck everything in from the off? I was only planning on the stick of memory in each bank too??

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
I do have those, what's missing are the trays which fix inside the case, where your bank of 12 (9) are ... spoke to seller and they are to check tomorrow but even the box that the case comes in says that max of 18 drives with 6 trays supplied alongwith those two cradles and 2 x 2.5" ssd mounting plates which i do have. I'm missing any trays for my hard drives. Fortunately i had already purchased the extra 10 trays i need which arrived today so its not going to hold up the build ... what is holding up the build is that my cpus still have to arrive .... dual e5-2683v4, oh, amd the psu. In the end i went for a corsair hx850 platinum cos its got 16 sata. i hope. Out of stock atm but expevted in tomorrow. Let's see ... and lets hope everythings good at the end of this ... i appreciate all the help people are giving.

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
Thanks for all the info. Case has arrived but it's only got 2 drive trays (type b) , is that correct?. The manual says it should have 6 so I expected to see the rest in the case itself but nothing! Can anyone remember how many actual trays this ships with? I've raised it with Scan who shipped the case. Let's see what they say.

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
Thanks, I'm getting there. That. Corsair PSU has no molex unfortunately, seasonics do but not the requisite EPs connectors. I'm still struggling for a decent 850w PSU with both AND a small profile if possible. Oh, and aiming, what coolers are on your cpu?. I need to source those next. Case should arrive today ...

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
I will need 18 for hard drives and a further 5 for ssd to max out the case. I'm s bit confused over the markings peripheral/sata on the psus I've looked at. Are each of those connections identical in power output so that I can use any of them for sata drives? Also the board I have has a 24 pin ATX connector AND two eps12v connectors. Again, the psus I've seen only have a 20 pin ATX power connector. How do you power the missing 4 pins?

How many sata to sata splitters can you use rather than using molex, lots of psus dont have molex these days as far as i can see ...

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
Understood so far. Are the 'peripheral' Sara connectors ok to use in drives themselves? How many sata drives can you split off of one actual connector?

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
Thanks! I'm learning as I go here. My board looks like the one pictured. So, as welll as the 24 pin, I need to plug 8pin eps12v into EACH of the other two, yes? Do all PSU's come with those plugs? And one more ... if I intend to use all disks, I'd need as many dedicated sata connectors (I've seen as many as 12 on some power supplies) with the remainder feeding from spare molex (I've got no molex devices). Is that about it?

What is dual eps12v and why would i need it? That psu only has 10 connectors, is that just an example? They make psus with more than 10 dont they? Think i need to do a lot of reading up soon!

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
Guys .... i ducked out of the SM case mainly due to noise issues which i'd not be practical enough to sort out of the box, i'm hopeless! I hace decided to go with a Fractal Define 7/XL case which will allow an EE-ATX board at a squeeze and upt o 18 hard drives and 5 ssd so well within my current drive capacity. Problem i've got now is the psu and how i manage to supply to the maximum number of drives.? I'm out of the psu arena for some time, last one i nought was a Corsair HX750, still running my current setup. I'm guessing an 850w should just about cover an unraid system with a LOT of drives and just the one GFX card, RT2060. BUT,BUT BUT ... where do i get the sata connectors from?? Do current psu's run to that many (18), i doubt it so whats a good recommendation with a good number of sata connectors to get me going? Wow, havent psu prices gone up!!

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
I'm wary og going to SM as they use 'proprietary' parts obviously , fans & psus which i find are very noisy and way overkill for what is effectively an unraid system which sits idle for most of the time. I much prefer to use of the shelf parts which i have control over. Does that make sense? Ideally a 24 bay Norco, not available here in the UK is what I would hop to from my tower cases as i do have a server rack and a bit of space still to fill. Having said all of that i AM looking at either a CE836 or CSE936 (whats the difference) to take up to 16 drives although i'm not convinced that would be a good move longer term.

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
Thanks, keep them coming! Budget? I suppose a 'reasonable' budget would be £300-£500 because i currently have 13 drives in a Fractal XLR2 with a 5-in3 in use and eight internal trays (can i do more?). I'm thinking that maybe a rack server might be better this time around unless i can get around the 18 drive bays inside a suitable ee-atx case, possible??

Any EE-ATX cases out there?
I have purchased a Supermicro X10DRi-LN4F board to replace an ageing X8SIA-F. Proble, which I should have anticipated and no doubt I'm not the first to have made this mistake, is that my Fractal XL-R2 is not big enough (and it's huge!) to take the board. There must be similar large boards being used so can anyone recommend a decent large case which takes an EE-ATX board?? Thinking now might be a good time to go rack server so anything of that type big enough do es anyone know. There's a good few EE-ATX Supermicro boards out there so what's everyone using?

[Support] Linuxserver.io - MariaDB
thanks, ill give it a go. just thought that maybe hooking up an existing mariadb would involve mariadb commands hence post here, no doubting i'll be back.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - MariaDB
HI guys, anyone able to help? My nexctcloud instance got out of sync and i 'managed' to get it up to latest version by following (not very well) the upgrade instructions on the support pages. But ..... I now have a virgin brand spanking new nextcloud, no idea where my original has gone if that's important? But, my mariadb db is still hanging around and my question is am i able to swap it IN for the sqlite one that my nextcloud is now using. I am assuming that all the settings and contents will still be preserved but have absolutely no idea how to fix??

[Support] binhex - SABnzbdVPN
Guys ... same issues as othere here inasmuch as webui not accessible following recent update. How do i get back to 3.0.2-1-03 which appears to be the fix? I did try adding a line to ovpn file as suggested but did nothing and i'm not sure just where that line needs to be inserted as are others it seems so its back to 3.0.2-1-03 for me, but how do i get there? I'm using PIA if it helps.

Hit a similar problem this evening. Sorted by confirming that ovpn i was using was responding very slowly. Switched routing with another vpn config, no changes at all to docker , and all now working. seems PIA have been making changes.

[Plugin] unbalanced
It's about time i thanked the developer personally for this plugin. It just seems to work for me and is my goto 'mover' of filestore around my two unRaid servers. I've just moved 5TB without so much as a glitch, so ... thanks v.much, I just love it!!

I haven't got the problem, @garethsnaim has. I was only offerring up my setup so that he could compare against his, which seems wrong to me. Think you picked it up the wrong way unfortunately.
