  1. I was searching for torrents today, and midway using this, it stopped working for me. Any tips to fix it? Can't get to the Web UI, not seeing any errors in the logs. Edit: It's working again. Weird. Maybe server was too overloaded.
  2. Worked perfectly. If only I had copied my AppData folder as well lol :(. Gotta reset my sonarr and radarrr, learned my lesson though. Thanks for the help, ya, my SSD just straight died. Never had that before. Guess I need to backup my main PC and my AppData folders.
  3. Uh, I might be completely idiotic. I must have a cable loose, that Samsung drive should not have been used, I meant to use a 500 GB SSD.... that's a Hard drive... Facepalm..... well. There goes all that data lol. So, I have a 480 GB Sandisk SSD that's not showing up is the issue. I'm guessing that drive is just completely dead? the 500GB HDD wasn't showing up earlier, but I guess I fixed them at the same time the Sandisk died. I swapped all the cables for the Sandisk, and swapped the drive for the known working 900+ GB SSD from crucial. Well, that explains why the 500GB HDD was dropping out... I hadn't been able to get it to show up and had wanted to salvage that data. Guess that's a no go and I can remove and throw that one away as well. Dumb dumb mistake lol. Do you think it's possible I can transfer the data off the SSD pool to the main pool, and then transfer that data back to the new SSD pool after I replace the dead drive and have everything work? Assuming the cache pool stays active long enough. Or just recommended to start fresh as data could be corrupting during transfer or something? I tried to salvage the data, currently transferring. Man, what a stupid error. I see the tutorial on replacing a cache drive. I'll try that and if not, I guess I can just rebuild now that I backed all the files up successfully.
  4. I'm not sure what happened. Normally, I get issues when I run out of HDD space (I know, I shouldn't, sometimes I start too many downloads at once, but I'm not sure how it happened this time.) It's a shame, the 500GB HDD also had finally showed up and I was hoping to get the data off of it. It was fine, I shouldn't';t have been lazy and gotten the data earlier. Main concern is docker though. I've tried deleting the image and restarting docker. Should I just upgrade unraid/restart? tower-diagnostics-20221207-1614.zip
  5. I noticed, in a recent update, it seems transmission expects you to configure the /config file location for the transmission-home folder, and its files. But, when we originally setup on prior versions, this wasn't necessary. I moved my transmission-home folder to a setup/transmission-home, then, mapped /config to this location, and no more errors, my log is clean again.
  6. Hey guys, I was recently getting an error where transmission would stop working. It would work for a few hours, then stop. When I checked the logs, it was saying "Too many unsuccessful login attempts." How I fixed this? When I checked the logs, it was looking for a /config location. Except, when you setup transmission, you aren't asked for this location. I manually set up the path, and now, it works fine again. I'm using Haugene, but I hope this still helps people
  7. Was this ever addressed? I Have a FAN B header I'd like to control as well. Edit: Apparently I did use FAN A, I just didn't have the minimum fan speed set high enough to deal with the splitter. Once I set the min fan speed high enough, I could see the fan RPM. Without it high enough, I guess it just defaults to certain set speed. Still would be interested to know how to get Fan B if needed.
  8. How exactly did you do this? I can't figure it out and I'm getting the exact same error. It won't create the folder for me. Edit: All I had to do was change from dev to latest. Not sure why that happened?
  9. Is there any chance the actual port is bad and could fry a new drive? When I took the drive out to reseat it, I saw a huge piece of lint(Piece of my sweatpants) somehow was logged there. No idea how this happened. It's been my parity drive for a long while now, so I can't understand how that happened. Also had a mouse in my place and see evidence the mouse was around my server (Gross, very sad). Just wondering since my 500GB drive doesn't show up anymore as well, but I'm guessing that was also on its last legs and died too. It was quite old and I stored it in a huge box of junk that I've moved a lot of times, without care to the 500GB drive, since I didn't think it even worked, but it did. Too bad I didn't salvage the data.
  10. It stayed stuck at 10% last time before showing complete. I disabled spindown and spun up the drive and still, same thing. Looks like I need to reseat the drive? Edit: It's saying errors occurred, check Smart report this time. I've attached it. tower-smart-20211114-1323.zip
  11. Trying now Just further info, I have a 500GB HDD that is VERY old in my system, it used to show up and now doesn't. It could have just died (I've transported the HDD a lot in boxes of junk and it's jostled around quite a bit), but maybe something is wrong with my backplane? I finished the reboot and SMART report. It ran without needing a reseat. Here it is attached. Drive is still being emulated currently. tower-smart-20211114-0420.zip
  12. Shouldn't I reseat the drive or not necessary?
  13. I think it's disconnected somehow? Smartctl open device: /dev/sdt failed: No such device I ran a smart test and it gave me that. Do I need to reseat the drive or am I out of power to run this? 20 drives, 2 SSDs, dual Xeons, all on 900-1000W server PSU?
  14. Just got some errors. Not sure how serious or how to read the log. Any ideas? This drive is relatively new, and was my parity drive previously before I just upgraded to 14TB parity drives over the last 3 months or so. Additionally, my server has 900-1000W redundant PSUs. Any idea what caused this? Any additional info I can provide? tower-diagnostics-20211112-1555.zip
  15. I can't connect/access the web gui unless my location is set to switzerland? When it's netherlands, it just says it can't connect to web gui. When I open it with switzerland, my logs come through clean and say success and I can use normally. This is what my logs say once I switch my location to netherlands(just keeps repeating): Wed May 26 15:06:56 2021 NOTE: the current --script-security setting may allow this configuration to call user-defined scripts Wed May 26 15:06:56 2021 TCP/UDP: Preserving recently used remote address: [AF_INET]191.96.168.102:502 Wed May 26 15:06:56 2021 Attempting to establish TCP connection with [AF_INET]191.96.168.102:502 [nonblock] Wed May 26 15:06:57 2021 TCP connection established with [AF_INET]191.96.168.102:502 Wed May 26 15:06:57 2021 TCP_CLIENT link local: (not bound) Wed May 26 15:06:57 2021 TCP_CLIENT link remote: [AF_INET]191.96.168.102:502 Wed May 26 15:06:58 2021 VERIFY ERROR: depth=0, error=certificate is not yet valid: C=US, ST=CA, L=LosAngeles, O=Private Internet Access, OU=Private Internet Access, CN=amsterdam426, name=amsterdam426 Wed May 26 15:06:58 2021 OpenSSL: error:1416F086:SSL routines:tls_process_server_certificate:certificate verify failed Wed May 26 15:06:58 2021 TLS_ERROR: BIO read tls_read_plaintext error Wed May 26 15:06:58 2021 TLS Error: TLS object -> incoming plaintext read error Wed May 26 15:06:58 2021 TLS Error: TLS handshake failed Wed May 26 15:06:58 2021 Fatal TLS error (check_tls_errors_co), restarting Wed May 26 15:06:58 2021 SIGUSR1[soft,tls-error] received, process restarting Solved: https://github.com/binhex/documentation/blob/master/docker/faq/vpn.md Followed the steps in Q19/A19
