  1. wow, thanks, that worked like a charm :-)
  2. I am not sure what caused this, but i think it was while being stuck in reboot after installing 7.2.0 ( A few days earlier i switched a HDD, using unbalanced, but using docker safe new perms didnt solve my problem) The problem is, one share won't be presented anymore and it's impossible to edit it (originally mover was involved also) So i searched for samba cfg. in boot the share appears to be quite normally mentioned in cfg. but in /etc/samba/smb-shares.conf it's missing completely. I am not shure if it is safe to edit this file so i'd rather ask here, if there's a way around editing it. or what else to do. Thanks for listening to me :-)
  3. why offer this good idea, but never maintain it? anyone here, who can tell who to do this with docker composer?
  4. Dears, while my VMs are running well after the RC1 Update, one of my Dockers was killed. There are backups, so no worries, but it seems, it is not possbile to cofigure it as was, because the docker-Setup won't show the vlan-Adapter as shown in VM-Setup. see screenshot. Find diagnostics attached Thx in advance unraid-diagnostics-20241216-1900.zip
  5. OK, thank you, that was it. Segmented my network recently and did not switch of that for the new IP.
  6. Thx for your help. Here's my diagnosticresult unraid-diagnostics-20240224-1429.zip
  7. Coming from 6.12.7 RC2 i am never getting any further than this: Does anyone know what to do?
  8. That, actually mnakes me wonder. I changed from 2550DI4 to the actual board. Also, on the 2550 the script to get the values worked wel.. Will try it later on, anyway.
  9. Hello, thanks for your support. The ipmi raw command leads to exactly nothing. It gives no return whatsoever. ipmi2json is attached: kind regards Kai
  10. Nice, but is there a possibility to add ASRockRack W680D4U-2L2T/G5 it works fine with the sensors but won't find the fans. Can i deliver anything to make it easier for you? Kind regards Kai
  11. that was really fast, thank you! i was able to switch to the new device. i assume assigning a second later on is no problem at all.
  12. I bought new hardware and now i'm trying to optimize the system to my needs there was a pool of two 240GB SSDs which were the cache. What is the recomended way to switch to a new pool of 2 1TB SSDs, or maybe to a single 1TB drive (atm i am not sure, if i want a pool)
  13. Holy cow..... i always thought i was using uefi on the old system... Thank you!
  14. Dear all, my serverboard died a few days ago, so i bought a new one. The new one is a Asrock W680D4U-2L2T/G5. But thios won't boot any Unraid-USB-Stick. it doesn't matter if i take the one, which was attached to the dead board, or a completley new one, or even the one, from my backup-Unraid. The board doesn't talk to me about it, it won't say, that this is no boot device or somethiong like that, it just gets back to bios or boot menue, depending on how i tried to boot from the stick. a Truenas stick bootet immediately, as did an batocera stick. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

  16. Sorry, i couldn't find an answer in the faq or somewhere else. If there is a howto or something similar, please close/delete this and point me to it. There have been some issues in the recent past, so i decided to switch hardware. (just Motherboard CPU and RAM) From my understanding there should be no trouble at all, simply changing hardware, building the array exactly as it was and telling the config the parity drive allready is valid. or maybe, the drives will be set correctly already? (but i doubt that as the sata controllers and Ports will be changed) Am i wrong on this? The license is, as i understood it, tied to the USB-Stick and nothing else!? as bonus questions, i'd like to change parity drive as well and switch to SSD , but i am not fixated on using it as a parity drive, most likely all drives will switch to ssd sooner or later anyway, what are the up- and downsides doing it to the parity first?
  17. While the cache isn't encrypted, could it be possible the encryption of the array has a play in it?
  18. wow! Thank you! I was suspecting the cache-Drives, but i didn't know how to prove it. Where did you find the problem. And well, THANK YOU!
  19. yes it does. i allredy tried several reboots here unraid-diagnostics-20230501-1829.zip
  20. Dear all, i tried to remove a HDD with this https://wiki.unraid.net/Shrink_array it all went well, until i stopped the array. it got stuck in unmounting drive 7 which i removed with this method, saying unmount drive 7, drive not mounted. i read in the forum, the only way out of this loop seems to be rebotting the server. After the reboot i followed the manual again and made a new config and started the array. it got stucked in mounting the disks, as it said and told me this --------------------------------------- May 1 17:57:16 UNRAID emhttpd: shcmd (205): rmdir /mnt/disk1 May 1 17:57:16 UNRAID emhttpd: mounting /mnt/cache May 1 17:57:16 UNRAID emhttpd: shcmd (206): mkdir -p /mnt/cache May 1 17:57:16 UNRAID emhttpd: /sbin/btrfs filesystem show /dev/sdc1 2>&1 May 1 17:57:16 UNRAID emhttpd: Label: none uuid: b843e3cb-a537-434b-9212-747a404af834 May 1 17:57:16 UNRAID emhttpd: Total devices 2 FS bytes used 4.10GiB May 1 17:57:16 UNRAID emhttpd: devid 1 size 223.57GiB used 17.03GiB path /dev/sdc1 May 1 17:57:16 UNRAID emhttpd: devid 2 size 223.57GiB used 17.03GiB path /dev/sdk1 May 1 17:57:16 UNRAID kernel: emhttpd[6330]: segfault at 10f ip 0000151709d96236 sp 00001517092800c8 error 4 in libc-2.37.so[151709d0a000+169000] likely on CPU 3 (core 3, socket 0) May 1 17:57:16 UNRAID kernel: Code: 00 00 66 90 66 0f ef c0 66 0f ef c9 66 0f ef d2 66 0f ef db 48 89 f8 48 89 f9 48 81 e1 ff 0f 00 00 48 81 f9 cf 0f 00 00 77 6a <f3> 0f 6f 20 66 0f 74 e0 66 0f d7 d4 85 d2 74 04 0f bc c2 c3 48 83 --------------------------------------- can anyone tell me, what to try?
  21. Maybe, i got this all wrong, but i was wondering about a line in netstat, while searching for something completely different. and just out of curiosity i disabled IPV6, to reactivate it afterwards. But as i did so, netstat still began showing a lot of tcp V6 connections, Here are a few And as i said before, maybe i got it all wrong, but shouldn't Unraid stop listening on IPV6 and stop establishing IPV6-connections, when IPV6 is disabled? Bonus Question, what is going in the first quoted line? OS is Unraid 6.11.0-rc4
  22. ok, nevermind, got it. Update to V4 still won't work.
  23. Seems there is no support for TMM over here? i got two problems, the first is the same that @kowabunga_dude and @sdballer are sharing. I'm pretty shure ist is the update to V4. Yo can fix this be deleting the tmm folder in appdata, but then you have to start new, but TMM3 will run again. the second one, to even use v3, i seem to get no chance to set my folders in the software the container simply shows nothing at /mnt/ so i can't even get started. anyone had that and solved it?
  24. LOL that easy and i am trying like hell over here ^^ THX!
