  1. This thread is marked solved. Probably better to start your own thread with your diagnostics.
  2. Nothing in lost+found so should be good.
  3. This means the disk won't mount with UD, so that is the answer to that question. DO NOT FORMAT.
  4. Attach Diagnostics to your NEXT post in this thread.
  5. No. The one parity drive is emulating disk6, so can't emulate another.

  7. Looks like connection problems with both rebuilding disks. All of your array disks are on this controller, correct? 03:00.0 RAID bus controller [0104]: Broadcom / LSI SAS2008 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-2 [Falcon] [1000:0072] (rev 03) Subsystem: Fujitsu Technology Solutions HBA Ctrl SAS 6G 0/1 [D2607] [1734:1177] Kernel driver in use: mpt3sas Kernel modules: mpt3sas How are these 2 disks powered? Any splitters?
  8. If your cache is read-only you have bigger problems. Post new diagnostics.
  9. Starting over with XFS would be a simple way to fix all this, and you could just leave out any disks that are actually bad. But all your files would be gone except perhaps those 2 "not installed" disks that are XFS. If you have a way to restore from backup that might be just as fast as all the moving/copying/reformatting/repeat as needed required to convert all those disks to XFS. And simpler so less error-prone.
  10. You have a lot of work to do with all those ReiserFS disks after you get your array fixed.
  11. Since you have dual parity, you can only have 2 disks needing to be rebuilt. You have to rebuild at least one of the other two disks before it will let you replace that third disk. Not sure what you mean there. All disks are mounted, including the 2 "not installed"/emulated disks.
  12. Safer to default to rebuild parity. Unraid doesn't know why you did New Config, and New Config can be used in ways that invalidate parity. If the user knows why their parity would be valid after New Config, then they can know to check the box. There certainly have been users who incorrectly thought their parity would be valid after they did New Config even though they used it in a way that invalidated parity.

  14. Of the shares you have, only data and nextcloud_data should be scanned. Personally, I would have those other shares hidden or not shared on the network.
  15. If you did make assignment changes in the array, parity is NOT valid and has to be rebuilt. I guess you were must making assignment changes to pools
  16. Unassigned Devices remembers drives you have used with it in case you have scripts or automounts, etc. You can X those you don't want it to remember.
  17. No SMART report for disk6, looks like it has disconnected. Check connections, SATA and power, both ends, including splitters. Then post new diagnostics Seems to be your UPS spamming the syslog with its own disconnects. You may need to unplug its USB so we can get a better look.

  19. disklocation-master.plg - 2024.03.06 (Update available: 2024.03.06c)
  20. One of many reasons RAID controllers are not recommended with Unraid.
