  1. That user hasn't visited the forum since making those posts 2 years ago. Go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete Diagnostics ZIP file to your NEXT post.
  2. You need to disable RAID on your controller or use a different controller.
  3. 169.... means it isn't getting an IP address so it makes one up. That IP address is not generally useful. Everything on my network uses DHCP. I have IP reservations by MAC address in my router for all wired devices. So I have static IPs for many things, but they are all managed from a single place, my router. If you set a static IP on your server there is nothing to prevent something else taking that IP except you making sure other things on your network use other IPs.
  4. Go to Settings - Docker and disable dockers. Then see what happens if you start the array. Post new diagnostics.
  5. Why does your gut tell you that? Seems from the description that a lot of data could travel over the network as it analyzes the shows when the media has to be accessed over the network instead of local to the plex server.
  6. Boot in SAFE mode then go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete Dagnostics ZIP file to your NEXT post.
  7. Can you access the webUI by IP? This really sounds like a networking issue. What is the IP address of your Unraid? Are all your computers on the same subnet?
  8. Post the contents of your go file on flash, config/go.
  9. Replace/rebuild one of the 4 onto the 12. Use unBALANCE to move contents of other 4s to the new 12. New Config without the empty 4s and rebuild parity.
  10. Was your plex server streaming media from your unraid server?
  11. That is what it is and that is what he said.
  12. The help (?) button near the upper right on the main menu bar is a toggle which turns help for all pages on/off. The text label for any setting is also a toggle for help on that specific setting.
  13. You shouldn't delete the whole config/plugins folder. Just delete or rename any .plg files in that folder and the plugins won't load.
  14. The Previous Apps feature on the Apps page will reinstall any/all of your dockers exactly as they were. If you have lost the appdata for any docker it will get created from scratch when you reinstall the docker. So if you have lost Plex appdata it is easy to set up the container again, but you will have to set up the libraries in the plex application again and let it rescan your media.
  15. Typically sonarr/radarr will move files depending on how you have them setup, but if for some reason they don't it is good to fall back to mover moving them. So if the downloads are going to a cache-yes share and sonarr/radarr doesn't move them, then mover will eventually.
  16. If anybody else wants help on this thread post diagnostics.
  17. I assume you mean you changed the paths to refer directly to cache instead of the user share. No need to actually move anything, and moving from share to disk (cache) can result in lost data.
  18. That's OK. I know it was a lot of time between posts and I didn't really explain why we were doing some things. And you ran mover again so system is all on cache now. Looks good! Go ahead and start dockers again. Cache has plenty of capacity as long as you don't tell it to keep certain shares there forever. appdata, domains, system are the shares you want to stay on cache (cache-prefer or cache-only). Other shares should be written to the array (cache-no) or written to cache and moved to the array (cache-yes). After you get more experience you can decide if it makes sense to keep other shares on cache. I personally put DVR there for performance, and any recording I want to keep I move to another share on the array.
  19. default is btrfs raid1 mirror, so only 250GB capacity unless you specifically make it raid0
  20. Docker image is in the system share. Docker service has docker image open at all times. Mover can't move open files. So docker image is still on the array instead of all on cache as intended.
  21. system still has files on the array. Why is docker enabled again?
  22. Lots of this in your syslog May 27 04:44:40 Tower rpcbind[24573]: connect from 192.168.1.68 to getport/addr(mountd) May 27 04:44:51 Tower rpcbind[24608]: connect from 192.168.1.68 to getport/addr(mountd) May 27 04:44:51 Tower rpcbind[24609]: connect from 192.168.1.68 to getport/addr(mountd) Something else on your LAN, you tell us what it means.
