  1. Both parity disks and disks 1-5 have disconnected. Are they on the same controller?
  2. From Docker FAQ: How Do I Create My Own Docker Templates? https://forums.unraid.net/topic/57181-real-docker-faq/#comment-566084
  3. CA doesn't really have that ability. It just takes the templates that have already been prepared and launches the Add Container page with the template. That page uses the template to fill in the fields for volume mappings, etc. Since your template would have an unknown number of optional volume mappings, those fields couldn't be part of the template and would have to be left to the user to fill in. I am not familiar with this application, but all of the disks are under /mnt. Also under /mnt are /mnt/user, the user shares, /mnt/user0, the user shares excluding data still on cache, and /mnt/disks, where Unassigned Devices mounts things. If you just map /mnt instead of each disk individually, would that work and be useful?
  4. I closed the poll. I can move this thread but not sure where it should go. If @Conmyster wants to put a little more effort into getting a CA conformant template and agrees to support it we could move it to Docker Containers.
  5. As itimpi said. It is not possible to preclear a disk in the array. But if you add a disk that hasn't been cleared to the array Unraid will clear it so parity remains valid. The "pre" part of preclear means clear a disk before adding it.
  6. As explained in the FAQ here: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-545988 Lots of other useful things in the FAQ also in case you haven't seen it. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-554741
  7. Or just let it finish the parity sync it is already doing. Maybe that setting will have fixed it.
  8. Nothing really stands out in those screenshots. Just try to complete a parity check without any dockers, VMs, or other addons, and making the setting change johnnie.black recommended. No point in digging into all that other stuff if it won't even do that much.
  9. Unraid keeps track of disk assignments using each disk's serial number so it should be fine.
  10. Probably the sync errors are caused by the lockups, whatever problem you have that is causing all the dumps in your syslog. And also that is probably the reason your parity check is taking so long that it is pointless. My guess is a hardware issue. Is your BIOS up-to-date? Are you using BIOS defaults (no overclocking, for example)? Is your cooling OK? Possibly your Marvell SATA controller is involved. I know a lot of people have issues with those. Do you have any disks using those ports?
  11. My guess would be connection or controller issues, but don't have any evidence presented. Post diagnostics.
  12. Unclear what you are trying to do. As mentioned no Unassigned Devices are ever included in the User Shares. That is just a consequence of how the User Shares work. But any Unassigned Device can be shared on the network and that is probably done more often than not. Is that what you are really asking about, how to share an Unassigned Device on the network?
  13. That usually has other symptoms, and problems with flash usually are logged. I didn't notice anything like that in the logs you gave.
  14. Try it without plugins or dockers and see if it works that way.
  15. What do you want the download share to do? Did you read the link I gave in your other thread? https://forums.unraid.net/topic/82878-unraid-672-mover-not-working/?do=findComment&comment=768747 syslog finishes with a lot of dumps. Have you done a memtest?
  16. Nothing obvious in those diagnostics, though I did notice you still have your downloads share set to cache-prefer. I am guessing you now understand those won't get moved to the array as you currently have it, but you have done it that way intentionally and will deal with it. Diagnostics after reboot isn't likely to tell us much for this problem. Probably the most useful thing would be to get us syslog from just before reboot. The latest versions of Unraid have a Syslog Server feature that will allow you to specify where to save the syslog so it won't be lost on reboot. There are also other alternatives to capture information explained in the "Need Help?" sticky I linked above.
  17. Most people don't have this issue so they have no need to figure out how to restart webUI. It would be better to figure out how to not have the issue. Post diagnostics. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/37579-need-help-read-me-first/
  18. Don't know if your Unassigned Device has anything to do with your VM or not but there is this in syslog: Aug 21 06:57:09 Tower unassigned.devices: Disk with serial 'Hitachi_HUS724030ALE641_PAJ2DRBT', mountpoint 'Hitachi_HUS724030ALE641_PAJ2DRBT' is not set to auto mount and will not be mounted... Aug 21 06:57:09 Tower unassigned.devices: Error: ISO file '/mnt/user/isos/ISOS/virtio-win-0.1.141-1.iso' is missing and cannot be mounted. Also lots of this: Aug 21 07:07:53 Tower kernel: DMAR: DRHD: handling fault status reg 2 Aug 21 07:07:53 Tower kernel: DMAR: [DMA Write] Request device [05:00.0] fault addr 0 [fault reason 05] PTE Write access is not set Aug 21 07:07:55 Tower kernel: DMAR: DRHD: handling fault status reg 102 Not sure what that's about, maybe someone else will. You also have this FCP Warning: Aug 21 04:40:02 Tower root: Fix Common Problems: Warning: Share Software_Applications is set for both included (disk3,disk4) and excluded (disk1,disk2) disks Include means ONLY these disks. Exclude means EXCEPT for these disks. There is no reason to use both and you should only use include or only use exclude, not both.
  19. This thread is several months old. I guess since nobody else is still using it you can have it. Post diagnostics.
  20. Go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete diagnostics zip file to your next post.
  21. Really seems like a question for the plex forums but googling wasn't too hard. First plex.tv match on google for "plex iso": https://support.plex.tv/articles/201358273-converting-iso-video-ts-and-other-disk-image-formats/
