Komplett abhängig vom Anwendungszweck und je nachdem was er geändert hat, hat er nur die aperture size geändert, pre-allocated oder hat er den max memory geändert. Ich hatte genau dieses Verhalten bei meinem Motherboard mit einer früheren BIOS Version das nach dem ändern der aperture size, pre-allocated und max memory das System nicht mehr durchstarten wollte (brauchte ich damals wegen GVT-g). Hört sich jetzt blöd an aber ich musste eine Einstellung nach der anderen ändern und dazwischen immer neu starten und die nächste ändern damit es funktionierte, habe das dann dem ASUS support gemeldet und das wurde dann auch gefixed im nächsten BIOS release. Habe aber auch einen NUC zu Hause der nicht starten will wenn ich prealocated auf maximum ändere. Interessant wäre warum er die Einstellung bzw. welche er genau überhaupt ändert... Wenn es nur wegen dem transcoding ist dann braucht er das sowieso nicht machen.

Weil luckyBackup eigentlich ein Desktop Programm ist und es nie so designt wurde das es dauernd offen ist und der nicht Konsolen modus im Container einfach nicht funktioniert, deshalb muss auch luckyBackup neu gestartet werden um alle Sicherungen im Snapshot manager anzuzeigen.

Nö, den brauchst du bestimmt nicht, bei mir funktioniert der container auch noch, ich hab den nur mehr zum Testen drauf... In meinen hab ich eine Routine drin die die Berechtigungen richtig setzt beim starten, haben eben viele nicht, beuge geren Problemen vor, obwohl ich mir sie dann doch auch oft mache...

Das ist echt Eigenartig... Kann mir nur irgend einen Fehler von Unraid vorstellen bezüglich Berechtigungen, hab des öfteren jetzt Probleme mit anderen Container gehabt (zum Glück nicht von mir) das die nicht mehr gestartet sind nach dem Upgrade auf 6.10.3 oder keine Schreib/Lese Rechte mehr hatten, warum, keine Ahnung, hab nicht weiter nach geforscht... Die Befehle: chown -R 99:100 /PFAD/ZUM/VERZEICHNIS chmod -R 770 /PFAD/ZUM/VERZEICHNIS brachten Abhilfe.

Also mich würde das schon interessieren welchen Fehler du gehabt hast, kann sicher nur eine kleinigkeit gewesen sein bzw. du musst natürlich auch eine config Datei reinspielen in den Container/Verzeichnis da der sonst nicht startet, zumindest gilt das für Prometheus.

Not true on Kernel 5.18+ I have to also say that Intel really messed up with the drivers for Alder Lake and some specific Kernel versions where also on other systems like Debian issues where reported, especially between 5.16 -5.17

On the Plex forums it's never an issue with Plex or any components from them, I remember the times where Plex Tone Mapping and also transocding wasn't working with certain CPUs (I think this was around Intel 10th Gen release) and that someone figured it out that it had to do with their custom FFmpeg version and they forked it from the latest FFmpeg version added their special sauce and viola it worked out of nowhere... Someone already posted somewhere here on the forums (can't keep track of that many Alder Lake transcoding issue threads anymore) where you can clearly see that the Plex FFmpeg is causing the Kernel Panic.

But isn't Plex crashing because they use some kind of proprietary FFmpeg version and some special sauce? I know that Emby and Jellyfin working both just fine with Alder Lake and newer Kernels without any crashing. OpenCL is from what I know needed mostly for HDR content and tone mapping or am I wrong about that?

I've now looked a little more into this and I can theoretically fix that but that would mean that the container grow significantly in size (about 300 to 500MB compressed, which translates to about 1GB uncompressed) and I really don't know if the previews are worth that size growth for this already big container in terms of size. Is it really necessary for you to have thumbnails? This would also mean that the power consumption and CPU usage will increase when uploading new files to generate the thumbnails.

Kannst du mal bitte einen Screenshot von deiner Docker Konfiguration für den Container machen (Docker template)? Welchen Pfad hast du angegeben und welchen Pfad hast du im Container ausgewählt? Ich vermute dort liegt irgendwo der Fehler.

ICR? Is this the reconfigurable stuff from Intel? I think you are talking about the firmware? Yes, Unraid ships the correct firmware for the iGPU and of course for the corresponding Kernel version.

Welches board hast du denn? Hast du evtl einen USB 2.0 Header am Motherboard? Ich würde generell empfehlen Unraid von einem USB 2.0 Header laufen zu lassen und auch von einem USB 2.0 Stick, hier gibts übrigens Empfehlungen auch mit deutschen Links: (persönlich würde ich dir Transcend 32GB raten) Sieh dir auch mal diese Dinger an, so einen habe ich verbaut im Server für einen USB2.0 Header: Klick Den Adapter den du gewählt hast ist nur ein Konverter von einem Internen Anschluss auf einen anderen.
