  1. Migrated to "NordLynx" since NordVPN was deprecated. Container Variable: PRIVATE_KEY = https://support.nordvpn.com/Connectivity/Linux/1905092252/How-to-log-in-to-NordVPN-on-Linux-with-a-token.htm QUERY = [Country you want to use] Hope this helps someone!
  2. I hope not too, as I bought it new and it worked fine in my other SM case. One last thought, what are your thoughts about not having the SM JPI2C1 --- Power supply SMBbus I2C header connected. There is no connector/plug for it coming from the power supply wire breakout module.
  3. Mr. Lancaster I like it! VERY much appreciated. As much as I don't want it to be, I hope SM won't charge me bundle to repair it. It's a nice board... SM X10DRH-CT. Thanks again for replying! Mr. York
  4. Hi All, TLDR: Case powers up and immediately powers down. Will continue to do it until fully unplugged - wait 30 - plug in and boots on second cycle. First, Chenbro support will not even respond; tried SIX times! This will be my only, and LAST, case from them. It is has been SuperMicro, and will continue to be forever! Anyway, I have this Chenbro NR40700 case that I bought new (old stock) and was clearly and obviously brand new. It came with two of the custom EMAC power supplies. From day one the unit would continually power cycle (1 sec on, two off, 1sec on, two off......) and will continue to do this until I unplug the unit, wait 30 seconds, plug back in and "cycles" once and then on the 2nd try will fire up. This is completely repeatable. I have replaced the two original power supplies and even have the thing loaded with all FOUR power supply slots filled and plugged in. I checked all of my power, etc plug in connections to the back-planes. I currently only have 14 spinners and one SSD scattered across the two back-planes. All six + two Noctua fans, dual CPU w/32 GB for each. So, nothing special. I am down to wondering if the thing was defective from the beginning. I think I have narrowed it down to the power supply(s) distribution unit, where all the cables come out to supply power to the MB and back-plane (drives). My logic is that I have replaced the power supplies and it always starts when I unplug it and let the power drain. I am VERY frustrated with this and would love any input/suggestions anyone has as to what to look at next. Sadly there is very little documentation on this unit to help with troubleshooting. Thoughts anyone? Much appreciated!!!!
  5. It appears as though Roland and friends are once again following the Beams, in the Land of Ka, to the Dark Tower. After reading this post ( ) I got the courage to try the New Permissions tool. I selected ONLY my "media" folder (everything is in there) and ran New Permissions on it. Again, it appears to have worked as I am now able to see, access, and move files within Krusader. Kudos to @mikl for the post and posting the results! Time for Roland to follow the Beams once more...
  6. Hi All, In trying to fix this on my own I stumbled across Tools > New Permissions as a possible fix. Appdata is on the SSD Cache drive, not the spinners. I am leery to use New Permissions as this 33% of the Folders that have no permissions whatsoever, took years to accumulate (primarily used for PLEX). I do not have any errors or drives with issues. SMART reports back "Passed" on all 12 drives. I have included a Diagnostic and screenshot from Krusader. Also, I cannot access these folders from Windows: error 'you don't have permission to access..." Any help greatly appreciated! tower01-diagnostics-20220703-2114.zip
  7. Hi all - Resurrecting an old topic. In the past week I have had to send three faxes. I know it seems antiquated, but there are legit reasons to fax things. If one of our illustrious Community writes it, I'll host it!!! Thanks!!
  8. Hi -- This is great! I'll start digging into this. Thanks for sharing the info! TechMed
  9. Hi @dgs2001, Sorry for the confusion. My goal is to find out if this container is A. working with NordLynx (aka Wireguard?) and B. am I able to route specific Sab, Sonarr, Radarr, other "-------aar's" containers, and the like through it? Currently, I have a direct connection to a PIA server (server to server) via Wireguard, that other than PIA's inherent issues, works well. Wow! Yes! That would be ideal, running only select images through the VPN, as I am also running into some issues with Swag because of that entire server running through the VPN only. Anyway, that's what I am looking for. I bought a NordVPN account on Cyber Monday so I am ready to go. I contacted Nord and the support guy was cool and understanding. They are working on a direct connect like I am using now, but no time frame. They already have a Linux script, but they are not sure it will work with SlackWare. Thanks for the reply!
  10. Hi @blaine07, Thank you very much for your help! I commented out the Bitwarden.conf - Thanks a bunch for reminding me. NC is back up and running!!! I hope you do not mind, but I attached both my Bitwarden and NextCloud .conf files. I cannot, for the life of me, find where is says 'resolver' more than once. Would you mind taking a look yourself? Thanks! Have hit the sack for a few before going back in. It has been so bad here that we had to set up a triage area 😷 in the atrium of our hospital... and it aint a small joint!!! nextcloud.subdomain.conf bitwarden.subdomain.confUSE_ME
  11. sorry @blaine07, Did you mean this: server { listen 443 ssl; server_name xxxxxxxxxxbitwarden.*; include /config/nginx/ssl.conf; client_max_body_size 128M; Thanks again...
  12. Sorry... @blaine07, I work nights and am headed in now, but wanted to get this to you... it's really a major PITA not having it running (NextCloud, Bitwarden, etc) Thanks for the assist!
  13. Hi All, Finally getting around to switching over from Let'sEncrypt to Swag. Curious if anyone has any ideas how to stop this from happening? If I let this go, it will just keep adding the same line (to infinity and beyond!) Followed Ed's guide to the letter. Thank in advance!
  14. Hi @dgs2001, Your last post indicates I have read this thread from start to finish; but I am still a bit confused and am wondering if you would clarify? I currently have PIA (via script) running tunneled directly to PIA; other than complaints about stability, it works well. That said, I want to switch over to NordVPN. So, if install the Nord Docker am I going to be able to tunnel the entire server via WireGuard? How's about we leave it here for the moment and I'll ask additional questions as they arise. What I hope to accomplish is something similar to the post for setting up and using the PIA script for WireGuard. The entire purpose being so that others can read it (ala Ed, aka SpaceInvaderOne -best videos ever!) and use Nord, with WireGuard, and be tunneled. Thanks in advance!
  15. @ptchernegovski, I greatly appreciate the info! I am going to work with it today. Thanks again!!!
  16. Hello @ptchernegovski, Trying to get Readarr setup and I am almost there except for the "Root Folder" when adding a new (my first) author. Any chance you would be willing to share your config for this? I think I have SABnzbd setup correctly; I can probably puzzle that out on my own if I run into a problem there. I just do not understand what Readarr is looking for with the whole Root Folder thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
  17. Hi @binhex, Cleared all of the cookies as suggested, but still kept getting the error. So I uninstalled and removed everything, even in appdata, and reinstalled. Works like a champ again! As always your work and assistance are greatly appreciated!!!! (Beers 🍻 to come at Christmas ) As a quick aside, who would be the best to hit up regarding server networking? ALL I want to do is get the default (eth0) onto a new 10Gbe card I have installed, and keep the onboards as extras (?failovers?). Thanks! J
  18. Hi @ljm42, I am flattered you would suggest I help with my own thread about the PIA tunneled access! 🤓 If I had the time I would (assuming I had anything to offer), but I am afraid I would upset more folks than help. My reply could be weeks out and I am still what I consider to be a noob. I will however, do what I can when I have to come here and hang out! (Note: I just have not gotten around to changing LE over to Swag yet) Having said that, I have a question for you. I have been trying to get LetsEncrypt to work under this Wireguard application. I can ping from the cli of the server AND LetsEncrypt. However, I cannot get Nextcloud to work. If I disable the VPN, everything works perfect. As soon as I spin-up the VPN, everything on the 'user-created' Network fails. So, do you know if Wireguard and LetsEncrypt can work together? Thanks again for the assist with PIA tunnel 👍
  19. Hi @Apil, The ONLY way I could get PIA to work is to use their custom install script (located here). If you read back through my posts here you will see I tried a number of other things, which did not work. The script is VERY easy to use. Watch the video and readme.md All that said, I have what (I think) you are to accomplish working well. I did have to use the PIA script though. I have a static VPN from my one server to theirs and am still able to access everything locally, just as if I did not have the tunnel running. One thing I did notice in your post is that you have a "PEER" and do not need (and should not have) setup. The PIA script makes the connection in the background and ALL you need to do is create the "TUNNEL" i.e. "wg0"... and turn it on (NOTE: you may need to turn it off and on twice to get the GUI to refresh with PIA assignment). Additionally, create the "TUNNEL", under SETTINGS > VPN MANGER first before running the PIA script. Lastly, if you restart/shutdown (or stop the array), you MUST rerun the PIA script again. All I have to share. Once I/we (the Community) figured it out, it just works! I work a LOT right now and have limited time to get here and have some fun, so if you post a question back, it could be some time until I can reply... sorry. I have faith you can make this work fellow 'Raider'!
  20. Hello all, I have been trying to resolve this myself by reading and experimenting, but I have to concede. 🤕 I have a couple of unraid servers, all of which have Mellenox 10Gbe (M10) cards, a MikroTik switch, back to a pfsense router. I finally figured out how to get the M10 cards to be a part of the mix, but now I cannot get them an address, Goal: Have the M10 get an address (I use reservation), have it be 'br0' if necessary for my Dockers to utilize it, and Bond the two onboard 1Gbe NIC's to 'br1' (again if necessary). I am perfectly okay with not Bonding the two on-boards. ## I want to be able to move stuff around between the servers and desktops that support 10Gbe. That's it! (Edit: have access to a 2Gbs connection I would like to utilize too) Attached is a pdf of the current settings from the one server I am testing on. I am surmising that if I can get this one right, I can simply 'rinse and repeat'. Thank in advance everyone! DarkTowerBeams_NetworkSettings.pdf
  21. Hi All, (@ljm42) Just confirming that PIA will work with unRAID. I have had it up and running for over a week now; not one issue. As directed, I have been verifying via the jlesage/Firefox Docker. While not for the faint of heart (nor as easy as Jorgen, ICDeadPpl, and ljm42 have made it by simply installing a provider config) this link to a PIA support page will get you set up. Follow the instructions though!!! Actually read the readme.md file as there's important info in there. Lastly, make sure you are using the "manual-connections-2.0.0" setup zip/tar. As always, thanks to the GREAT community here for making all of this possible!
  22. @Jorgen @ICDeadPpl @ljm42 Sometimes I swear I am getting senile!!!! The PIA script DOES WORK!!!! IF YOU USE THE CORRECT D@*#ED PASSWORD!!! ARRRGGGGGG! Thank you everyone for your time and patience. We have a great team here and hopefully this fiasco will help someone else! Be safe everyone!
  23. 😉 No worries! So did that (the Win10 script) install it on the unRAID server?? I am also going to try Jorgen's suggestion as I do have everything (the xxxrr's) running through Binhex's container(s) for years now without a hitch!
  24. HI @Jorgen No I did not. I will dig into that now. I am determined to get this working! On the surface, based on the configuration code I've seen so far, this should be rather easy. I guess that's why I'm getting frustrated with PIA. It is a shame too as I like the service...
