  1. I stopped the array, Under Main Tab, Device, Selected Disk5 (the ssd), under Filesystem, selected XFS, clicked on apply, started the array. It now says "Unmountable: No file system." I then ticked Format. It finished. Shows up as XFS already.
  2. My default file system is set to XFS. While it's set as an unassigned disk, I formatted it as XFS. When joined, it shows up as btrfs. I've also tried preclearing the drive. After which, I joined it to the array without formatting. Upon starting array, it shows that I have an unformatted drive. I ticked format the drive, and again, it showed up as btrfs. Seems either way, btrfs is the FS. Using 6.7.2
  3. It formatted it as btrfs. Is that the default for SSD? Would it be more advisable to convert it to XFS? Noted on the performance of SSD. It's there because of reliability rather than performance. Will do parity check. What do you suggest to do if there are sync errors? BTW, Is it advisable to write parity correction to disks?
  4. I recently added an SSD onto the array, to have better protection against failure. I've formatted it as XFS while unassigned, after assigning it to the array, it shows btrfs. Is this normal? Is it alright to assign SSD as part of array? Though this will be a 1 drive share only, no other drives on the same share.
  5. I use ASUS H110M-K motherboard, Celeron G3930 cpu I have /dev/dri I have put the lines in my go file chose onboard as my primary graphics in my bios though no igpu option to enable in emby, already put details in extra parameters In transcoding, I selected “enable hardware acceleration when available,” though no option to choose quicksync, vaapi, etc I can’t get transcoding to work.
  6. I think the source port should be 1:65535? I've narrowed the destination port to 10 ports only. E.g. Xxx10-xxx19. Can anyone confirm if deluge requires more than 1 port for outbound? It shows 2 fields in the ap, signifying a range rather than just a port. In inbound, it only shows a field. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. @Herdo, although I don't want to open up ports, due to seeding requirements for torrent, I have to open a few ports. Noted on the known ports. So anything that is random is better. I suppose instead of doing source 1:65536 destination 1:65535, I change it to source 22xxx:22xxx and destination of 22xxx:22xxx, that will work? That's all it takes?
  8. Do you mean change this part? Service is UDP, source port is 1:65535, destination port is still 1:65535 I remember trying to narrow the ports down, e.g. 1:20 source port, 1:20 destination port. I remember it showing not open. Not sure about this.
  9. Hi. I use a Sophos firewall at home. For the longest time, I've been using Deluge Docker container, and was able to download, but never able to seed, due to my Sophos firewall port being closed. I finally got it to work yesterday. Test form outside canyouseeme shows the port is open. In my Sophos XG firewall, I created a Dnat rule - source, network both set to any. Service is UDP, source port is 1:65535, destination port is still 1:65535 forwarded to nas IP address, Deluge port 8112. Right now, I can see that my deluge is finally seeding. But when I check with canyouseeme, it shows whatever port I type in, from 1 to 65535, it says port open. Is this correct? Wondering if this is safe. Anyone has experience regarding this?
  10. Info: CPU- Kaby Lake Intel Celeron G3930, 2 cores 2 threads Motherboard- Asus H110M-K motherboard Things I've done so far: Changed my go script to: modprobe i915 chmod -R 777 /dev/dri # Start the Management Utility /usr/local/sbin/emhttp & Edited syslinux.cfg and added the the kernel parameter i915.alpha_support=1 For reference, my file looks like this: default menu.c32 menu title Lime Technology, Inc. prompt 0 timeout 50 label unRAID OS menu default kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot i915.alpha_support=1 label unRAID OS GUI Mode kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot,/bzroot-gui label unRAID OS Safe Mode (no plugins, no GUI) kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot unraidsafemode label unRAID OS GUI Safe Mode (no plugins) kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot,/bzroot-gui unraidsafemode label Memtest86+ kernel /memtest Booted the bios, and made sure primary display is "cpu graphics" IGPU Multi-Monitor= Enabled Above 4G Decoding= Enabled Went into EmbyServer docker container, and under Transcoding, Enable hardware acceleration when available= Yes Edited the EmbyServer docker container, under Extra Parameters, put in "--device /dev/dri:/dev/dri", under Container Variable: GIDLIST=18 Still not working. Am I still missing anything?
  11. Would like to clarify on this. I'm using bridge mode on Docker containers. I also would like Docker container to be accessible from outside. Mainly, I use Deluge Torrent client. I need to seed, hence, so tweaking Sophos firewall open ports is a must. Deluge uses port 8112. Is this where I forward ports from outside to? Inside Deluge, there is also fields such as inbound/ outbound ports. What should I do with this? Are the numbers in these fields required in Sophos XG? Do I need to forward to them? Currently, site where I download says I'm not seeding.
  12. I arrived at the same conclusion. Thanks for the help @Johnnie.black Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. @Kevek79, Thanks for the tip. Indeed, had a Noctua fan connected to the M/B directly. Installed it last night. I can see the fan running. Unfortunately, still having issues. Same problem. This actually eliminates the temp of HBA as the root cause. I am attaching my diagnostics again here. I hope people here can help identify issue. @johnnie.black, hope you can help take a look. @Michael_P, I am using the one marked X . My psu doesn't have enough modular ports to connect the correct type of splitter. I hope it's not that serious. tower-diagnostics-20190831-0027.zip
  14. I also prefer not having any small fans on the Dell Perc. I'm attaching a picture of Node 804 here, so you can visualize the amount of air that passes through. Used to be, I didn't have any problems with errors with the drives. All of a sudden, I do. The most recent testing that still produced the multiple errors in the drives, I had my case, left and right, wide open. Not sure if it's the lack of pressure within the chamber that caused not enough airflow through Dell heatsinks If there is such a thing.
  15. @itimpi, actually I do. But I'm currently using Seasonic Evo M12II Evo, https://seasonic.com/m12ii-evo, the PSU has been with me for about 2 years only. Wondering if the Dell Perc H310 requires a fan on the heatsink?
  16. @CloudVader, glad that sorted out your problem . My quest isn't done yet . Though partially, that proved to be the solution for me. But there's another issue here in the post I shared earlier wherein all drives in my array, have lots of errors. Screenshot on an earlier post. @johnnie.black, this time around, I was able to replace the Dell Perc I'm using to another unit. So now, I have replaced the HBA, used different cables, connected sata power splitter securely, and still, have the same problem. Meaning, thousands on errors across all drives. This happened during parity checking. This time around, I suspect it to be the HBA controller, and not the power splitter. Probably, the ventilation. Though what I don't understand is I've had this HBA for over a year, maybe 2, and always connected to the same Fractal Design Node 804, with front and rear fans. That had been enough for the longest time. Why are the parity errors coming out this time? Seems like nothing changed.
  17. Btw, I think it's the preclearing that's happening at the same time :-) thanks for the 2 app suggestions. Will take a look at them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. @johnnie.black, do you have idea how to cool Dell Perc H310? Am using a Tower case. So area where the PCIe card is placed is quite large, no active fan placed on the case (from the front), 1 at the back for exhaust only.
  19. I forgot to mention, parity reading in progress. Does this eat up cpu? Anything more visual? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I have 12 Docker containers, 1 of them Portainer. Any way to check CPU utilization? I see in the dashboard my Processor is performing about 85%, I have neither Emby turned on, the rest, Radarr, Sonarr, only have a few shows in them as this is a new installation. Portainer doesn't give the info I want, or I don't know where to find cpu utilization per docker container.
  21. @ken-ji, did a fresh setup of another unraid box. Can't get the emby gpu transcoding to work. Using Intel Celeron G3930. Already did the following: #!/bin/bash # enable iGPU for docker use /sbin/modprobe i915 chmod -R 0777 /dev/dri # Start the Management Utility /usr/local/sbin/emhttp & Does anything have to be done with Emby server? Thanks in advance.
  22. Hi. Followed your instructions to a T. It still says failed to load Collabora Online. I am using proxynet as well. I changed the server name to somethingoffice.duckdns.org. Restarted letsencrypt, collabora and nextcloud. Can't open Doc files within Nextcloud. I am using Sophos Firewall. Is it still necessary to do some port forwarding? ***Update*** Reading above comments about PFSense NAT reflection, and doing some research, I changed my Sophos XG Firewall rule on the DNAT: Ticked- Rewrite source address (masquerading) Use outbout address MASQ Got everything working!
