ok thanks ill give it a try as I currently have 4 core intel 3820 cpu and I pined plex and isolations 2 3 4 and then fix common issues complains I pinned 3 cores to plex as I read and watch core 1 goes to unraid but ya I turned off all dockers vms and core one fluxates from 0 to 80% as I wanna build a new case and cpu for my unraid a 24 bay that can handle 2-6 streams to tvs in the house and not have any slow down so working on upgrade but just dealing with this as I been finding plex slow or choppy at times but ill check this app out to add thanks

is there a gui Task manager for unraid for apps running what cpu is connected to what .. so I can narrow down why the first core is running

hi I was having issues with my plex etc.. and trying to get this CPU pinning to work right but its not but I turned off all vms and doctors.. and yet CPU 0/4 is still throttling up to 76 percent.. and I read that's what unraid uses that cpu.. but why it is running high is it the plugins and dockers then? and how do I put more cpus to plex or least to know plex is using them but ya not sure why I having slowness and issues with unraid since the update and I cant figure it out and does anyone know why STOP button never works for VMS I always have to FORECE STOP for windows the STOP button never ever works to I guess do a normal shut down

hi I trying to get Lacp to work with unraid and my srw2006 switch. I set the switch to 5 ports and check LACP for each one.. so they set and when I set unraid to bonding 4 for link aggression im locked out of unraid.. it cant get a ip address just 169.. so to fix I gotta pull the usb stick ending the network.cfg and change bonding to 0 from 4 so I can re access it.. but what you gotta do to to get the link aggression to work

hi I seen old posts off different sites but curious in 2019 which app you guys use to backup your photos like Google does on my android you click Photos and its on there site... is there a good one for android and to connect to my unraid server.. that you guys like

@ruato 1... do you have hot swap backplane/modules in your case..... if you can move the cable from the slot is bad and move it up one to one that is working then you can test to see if the backplane/module is broken 2.. second test is it could be the motherboard... take one of the slots that working follow it to the motherboard and use that port to the slot on the hard drive that you find isnt working... this will tell ya if the Sata port/chipset on the motherboard is bad and to avoid it.. 3.. for your 3GB/s your motherboard may be a 3GB and 6GB be 2 different colors like Black be 3GB Ports and Red be 6GB ports .. i myself was getting frustrated and my motherboard is a 3/6gb combo board so 4 and 4 ports and i wanted all 8 6gb.. so i ended up getting a Raid Controller card.. so it doesnt use the built in ports on the asus board i using... i use a LSI raid controller board give those tests a try 1 and 2,, it was heck for me brand new 6 12 tb drives giving error counts and in end was the sata on the motherboard

@Interstellar only suggestion i can say is there is an incompatibility of preclear and 6.7.2 that needs to be updated you can try what i done for other issues of preclear 1.. was downgrade to 6.6.6 and run preclear and no issues then upgrade back to 6.7.2 2. uninstall preclear reboot reinstall preclear but dont reboot run the preclear on your hd 3. same as 2 but i done a reboot after reinstall but i dont run anything to start any dockers etc just preclear.. but it fails later again that i cant use preclear and i have to run the steps above again that seems to work for the not starting display issues resuming issue.. as preclear wont resume in its current state with 6.7.2 but you could try that .. maybe it doesnt give you that issue and if your doing a big hard drive... id reccommend using a UPS if you dont have one.. with this issue Resuming preclear doesnt work... now i dont know if this will fix your error or not.. i just giving my 2 cents worth in... hope it helps your issue

@Ruato your welcome.. glad it worked..... ya if you experience the issue again just do my steps and seems to work.. hopefully by next 12tb 14tb drive i get the fix should be out lol it be a while for me lol

yes i do it gives it a stability test if it can pass 3 times i know it should last a while plus my WD come with 5 yr warrentys and i have a 12TB parity drive but ya all my drives i do 3 times i just set it to run 3 times in the options and come back in 7 days or whatever its done

@Paul_Ber ya 6.6.6 more stable with the preclear.. also your old pc is probably a Sata 2 possible Sata1 speeds so you wont get the faster speed of the newer sata3.2 like a sata 3.2 12tb 7200rpm will take me 7 days to run 3 cycles.. dont wanna know how long it take at Sata1 or 2 lol but i use a Acer H340 (Sata1 or 2) with 1GB ram from 2006 i used that as a unraid backupserver and she slow to do preclear but then i only did 2 -4 tb drives on that puppy lol but unraid works nice also on a 1gb machine

@Ruato hopefully it fixes your issues... ya only other thing that worked for me was downgrade unraid to 6.6.6 do the preclear.. then reupgrade back to 6.7.2 that was my other way of fixing it to get the preclear jobs done but who wants to keep downgrading upgrading lol

@knex666 this is what happens when i try to start it.. i left them as the defaults as i just only wanna stream internet radio through the unraid motherboards sound card not like my desktop so cant even test your program... as i want to have my unraid hooked up to my stereo and just stream radio and not need the app open.. and i never edited the conf file maybe thats why i having issues i just left it as default.. like any app set it up then just run webgui.. so many my fault

hi i have a couple issues with app 1.. when i add a radio station for streaming it pops up on the left hand side i can start it by hitting the play button... but you cant stop it no way to pause and the bottom of screen the pause and volume does nothing... 2.. i set the Players option to Jukebox so its supposed to use the Unraid Server Soundcard/onboard motherboard sound card... yet it still playing through the web page on my desktop... so its not going through the internal soundcard on my unraid server... how do i fix that so it goes through that not the webpage when i gui log into site and how would i get it to stream internet radio to the unraid server soundcard while also the webgui screen be closed as i dont want to have it open on my desktop to stream radio through the built in sound card...

hi I installed and uninstalled this program and tried to reinstall but its not working when I click Start to start the application I get a execution error and a null error what I gotta do to get this puppy up and running.. as I wanna try to stream internet radio

@Ruato could be the incompatibility of the current preclear plugin with the latest stable unraid.. uninstall preclear reboot reinstall preclear.... it should not give you issues till next reboot or several runs.. since release of 6.7.2 i had issues.. i either downgraded back to 6.6.6 to get preclear to work no issues or i had to play with uninstall reinstall etc.. i dont know if there is a new release of preclear as i set unraid to update check/update every night... and my last hard drive i precleared was a 12TB that takes 7 days to do 3 cycles a month ago.. but give that a try the uninstall reinstall and then run preclear.... now dont take my word if there is a latest version fix for preclear.. i just going off what i been doing since 6.7.2 release and did a few hds and SSDs and thats what i had to do to get 0 issues

@lrx345 read my last few posts youll see how i make it work... there is an issue for compatability in the latest version no fix of of over a month... dunno if there be a fix yet but i posted how i get it to work

hi i like to know using the cron guru generator site to do every 3rd month does this start whenever i save the crontab “At 04:00 on day-of-month 1 and on Monday in every 3rd month.” 0 4 1 */3 1 or does it change everytime you reboot unraid now my other one i tried is doing this to start From January and do ever 3 months “At 04:00 on day-of-month 1 and on Monday in every 3rd month from January through December.” 0 4 1 1/3 1 now the 2nd option is what i perfer... least for now.. but the cronguru page says it may not work on some cron jobs.. will that work for unraid the 2nd option.. "non standard! May not work with every cron." is the error on the page i get.. and if i wanted to do specific months how does it work for unraid.. i tried some other crontab jobs examples like JAN APR AUG NOV for the month section but unraid didnt like that....

@Spies for me after a while or a reboot later or I do something else preclear fails again.. so what I do is when I was doing my 12TB 3 pass clear that takes 7 days.. I just did the steps I mentioned ran preclear and made sure it was on a ups as I found I couldn't resume preclear process either so if power failed preclear I had to start over again... and I made sure I didn't touch unraid as I was dealing with the 12tb and takes forever....

@Spies ya I mentioned this error a while ago no help... only thing that kinda worked is downgrade to do the preclear.. or when you upgrade.. uninstall preclear then reinstall it.. then reboot.. then you should be able to run preclear... but then it will fail again later I found.. so you gotta uninstall reinstall reboot.. then you can run it.. as it will also not display progress sometimes too.. but so far no fix yet and seems I and you only have this issue so far.. as no one else has commented.. as I mentioned in last month.. give that a try for the time being

I had to uninstall the preclear app rebooted ran fix common issues reinstalled preclear app rebooted it worked but then was stuck again... I re done these steps and it would stick at the starting pic I downgraded back to 6.6 one and she worked.. but back to 6.7 and she not really but I just accepted it said successful even though I couldn't view etc and used the 2tb ssd on my windows 10 computer

if I click the X after successful and refresh the screen I do a new preclear check off browser notification and start preclear hangs … in the pic its been sitting like that 10 min and yet you still cant view it

stable the 6.7.0 preclear finished but I cant even view the results like I could in the last build

anyone else experience that preclear doesn't really work in the latest unraid build after the update I found preclear didn't work updated community app uninstalled and reinstalled preclear didn't work till I rebooted then it started to work... and seems to work but no longer displays the results and the icon to see the results by the progress of the preclear is gone so you cant open it up anyone else experience this

couple questions.. just installed it.. i edied the conf so i get the gui and file bot says new download update is avaliable.. i click download but i dont see nothing either way i tried the program it says its going to rename moviename (year) when it does rename it doesnt put the year in yet it says it will how you fix that issue? so say movie (orginal) -----> movie (2018) (new name) ------>rename/copy (doesnt mater both do copy) -----> movie (filename) doesnt do movie (year)
