  1. Those were not snippets but the actual logs as mentioned in the previous post.
  2. That's the only variable between Windows and OMV5 running stable and Unraid locking after less than 20 hours. Had Unraid running from same flash drive for the last 4 years and this the last thing that hasn't been eliminated from the equation.
  3. I'll replace my flash drive and get back to report the outcome.
  4. Could it be caused be failing USB Drive? I have also recently tested OMV5 running from a HDD for a few days, no issues. What's the role of the USB after the OS is loaded in the RAM?
  5. Yes those were from the syslog server plugin wiring to a usb drive. I can't see anything of concern in those logs. But I think it usually happens when there is heaps of disk activity hence the SAS was replaced.
  6. Still locks up randomly after trying these few things Tried 3 different RAM modules all setup to supported speeds (MB and CPU supported speeds). Replaced my HBA card to rule that one out. Downgraded to 6.9.2 I have already replaced my Ryzen 7 and x470 mobo as unraid was having issues with that hardware. Any way to get a detailed log of what's causing these lockups? The same hardware works fine with Windows as I hade it up and running for a few days.
  7. Hi forum my Unraid Server locks up and disappears from the network and when I try to plug in my monitor it shows "No Signal". I'm thinking that system hardware is locking or kernel panic but I'm unable to pinpoint the issue. After running Unraid for nearly 5 years with no major issues and I'm getting really frustrated with the issue. Your help will be much appreciated! media-nas-diagnostics-20220416-1212.zip syslog-1649966501 syslog-1649905785
  8. After the recent update my Hauppauge USB tuner has disappeared from the list. Tried LibreElec and Digital Devices driver packages woth no luck.
  9. How can I disable IPv6 in the container.
  10. Facing a weird issue with my server when using a second network card (USB based) as a backup or link aggregater. Works fine for a few hours then my server randomly disappears from the network and to make things worse it doesn't respond to the shutdown command (pressing the shutdown button on the case). Usually have to force restart it or unplug and plug it back. I have setup a static IP for this server and it uses a bonded interface (eth0,eth1). Mode is set to active backup and both the interfaces are connected to LACP capable switch.Tried LACP LAG also and the same thing happens. I have tested both the onboard and usb one in standalone mode and they work fine. Tried it on two different switches and a router but no luck.
  11. I upgraded to 6.9beta22 from 6.8.2 to use device pools feature.Right now I have 3 different device pools allocated to different shares. /buffer - cache for share /downloads (BTRFS, Cache :Only) /cache - unraid cache for /appdata (BTRFS, Cache:Only) /media - cache for shares /movies and /shows (BTRFS, Cache: Yes) Program N downloads a file and saves it to /downloads and then Program R renames & moves it to /media, finally on weekly basis the files are moved to the array. The weird issue is that Program R can’t access files through the path /mnt/user/downloads (access denied) but works fine if pointed to /mnt/buffer Ran Docker safe permissions thinking it was simply a permissions issue but the problem still persists
  12. Can you pass on the USB tuner in the docker and use Plex DVR.Does the docker has the required drivers? I’m not using DVB plugin in Unraid as I have the Nvidia one installed.
  13. I did the Long test and used the recommended settings. But I see a drop in transfer speeds when I transfer files from 1 hdd to another in same share using mc (ssh). It dropped from 100 MB/s+ to ~40-50 MB/s. In Unraid, go to Settings > Disk Settings to set your chosen parameter values. Completed: 17 Hrs 30 Min 35 Sec. NOTE: Use the smallest set of values that produce good results. Larger values increase server memory use, and may cause stability issues with Unraid, especially if you have any add-ons or plug-ins installed.
