  1. I have learned today that Unraid 6.10.2/3 require access to msftncsi.com to check for internet connectivity. I suppose this feature might be more beneficial to those that use the "My Servers" plug-in. Would it be possible to remove the requirement for a domain all together, or be able to change the one it uses to check connectivity? Thanks!
  2. Thanks for the answer.. and the great suggestion! I will do so. Cheers!
  3. Is it possible for an end user to change the domain that's used to check, or remove it all together?
  4. Witchout looking and running the code you told me to run, I know I have that domain blocked via Pi-Hole. Is it really necessary to require that for an internet check? *facepalm* I get nothing back when I run that line, for what it's worth.
  5. My time and date appear to be in sync. For what it's worth, this is the direct message I get when I try to do plugin updates: Checking connectivity... No response, aborting!
  6. Seems Docker apps now fail also when it comes to updating. Github, Docker and AWS are all up though. I'd like to know on what basis Unraid seems to think there's no connectivity.
  7. I have tried the last two or three days to check for plugin updates, it states there's no connection and simply aborts. Updating docker apps, there's zero issues. What gives? What is/are the domain(s) that Unraid checks for updates from?
  8. The loaded question: How does one by-pass this "My Servers" plug-in? For those of us that don't want our data on someone else's property. Are you gonna abandon us on 6.9.*? Anyone is welcome to inbox me if they don't wanna discuss this publicly. We don't need another mothership for our hardware to call home to in order to make sure ET is still alive. EDIT: So far it looks like either adding "0.0.0.0 myunraid.net" to a hosts file or blocking it at my local DNS server (with no upstream DNS), are my best solutions.
  9. Transmission used to be able to connect with my phone running Flud on my home network. it never does anymore for reasons unknown. Reason this is great is in issue #2 below. My phone can gather so much more sources than my Transmission container.. again, on my home network. Thanks for your time!
  10. I downloaded the 'next release, I was gonna wait till after work to reboot my server. Unraid beat me to the punch, now I can no longer access the web interface, including containers. On 6.9.2, I had tried to set up a named web address. It never worked, it just switch from using IP address to using unraid.local. Now it wants me to try and access it via unraid.domain.net. I have console access, if help guides me there. Update: It can access the internet, I can access the containers from other devices, just not the system. If I remove my domain from the TLD field, it tries to load https://unraid, seems to forward attempts at direct IP address there also. With my domain in the TLD field, it tries to load https://unraid.domain.net
  11. Is there a way to copy docker.img to a cache drive within Krusader, stop the Docker service and re-map it to the cache pool?
  12. Thanks for that information, @tjb_altf4. Now I guess I'm left with my remaining issue with docker0's 172.17.x.x addresses.
  13. Currently running unRAID 6.9.2, Docker v20.10.5. 1) All of my bridged containers have a 172.17.x.x address (docker0) instead of my public IP address which is what I believe they should be seeing. 2) Where did the shim-br0 interfaces come from? I've tried fixing this by stoping my services, editing what I could in my Network Settings.. but don't see anything for IP addresses in Docker settings. Extra info: eth5 is SFP+, br0 is an eth0+eth1 team (2x 1Gb)
  14. I did a bunch of voodoo on my server. PV has been working well with Elasticsearch. I did notice the lack of *.mov and *.mkv support, however. Also doesn't play well with large JPG files
  15. Huzzah! Wonder if I can recreate it now with a different port so as not to conflict with Unifi controller.. *crosses fingers* Merci beaucoup!

  17. I got to a page asking me to allow the security exception, clicked to accept and got a blank page. Went to check if the container was up - it had stopped itself.
  18. I tried about ten times yesterday to try and get the docker working. When I installed it in host mode, it would stay running but trying to load the interface would take me to the unRAID login.. at 443. Putting it in bridge mode, I can change ports.. sorta (shows as 8446:8443 or the other way around), and repeatedly ghost stops itself. -- I need to find a way to delete the "docker0" network route among my other issues, hence the 172.17.x.x address.
  19. Is it possible to refrain from using ports 443 (common SSL) and 8443 (SSL port used by Unifi)? Port 8446 seems available so far @dlandon 😃
  20. Initially unRAID had set them up as a mirrored cache instead of two separate drives. That issue has since been resolved
  21. So, I deleted the docker.img, and now my installed dockers are went and jumped off a cliff.. This may have been a result of setting some data to cache only. Gonna try using both to sync data unless it's too late.
