  • It's hard to release it in the USA and around the world at the same time.   Someone is always sleeping.   Also @limetech getting us the latest kernel the same day it was released.

  • We're working on a design that lets driver plugins be automatically updated when we issue a release.

Has there been a fix identified for the i915 driver problem in 6.9.2?

QUESTION:

Will we ever see a new stable unraid-version? It's over a year since the last update...

The 6.10.0 rc versions have been available for many months now via the ‘next’ branch.  No idea how long until it reaches ‘stable’ status but I suspect that is getting close.

From what others have posted it looks like even the 6.10.0 rc4 has not fixed the i915 issue. If anyone has information to the contrary I'd be interested.

Update from 6.9.1 -> 6.9.2 and eth not found on HP MicroServer Gen8. How to fix that?

Sorry, I assumed you meant you had updated to 6.10.2. What version did you update to?

Disable VT-d help me to solve booting, but my VMs is absent in webconfig :(

UPD: I enable VM in settings. All OK, Thank you!

Since I am reading several issues with 6.10.2 my assumption is the i915 GPU problem is likely not resolved. I am sticking with 6.8.3 as the last stable release of unRAID.
