January 23, 20224 yr Community Expert Diagnostics are after reboot so can't see what might have happened before. Do you have sylog or diagnostics from before reboot? Nothing assigned as disk5, was it 9V9G? CRC errors are connection problems. Which controller is this on?
January 24, 20224 yr Author Let me know if I can find anywhere other diagnostics.. I've looked but it's not something in tools? The pre-clear process of that HD 9V9G with all those CRC errors just ended. I am thinking I need to give it another go. I've changed the Sata cable for this drive with a new one. This drive is connected directly on the motherboard..

January 24, 20224 yr Author No no. Sorry if I confused you there. I had a 4TB which was not working properly and I changed it with a new 8TB I had spare. When I tried to add the 8TB (9v9g) the first time I got 2000~ CRC errors. So I changed the Sata cable with a new one. And I did preclear of the disk before I add it to the array. Now its rebuilding parity and I can't see any errors.. So I suppose problem seems to be solved eleven-diagnostics-20220124-1620.zip
April 5, 20224 yr Author Hello again trurl, I have finally changed the CPU on my unraid, it's been a week since I did that and today I wasnt able to ping the system from my main computer or login via smb, http etc, even dockers couldn't be contacted by any way.. So I hold the power button and shut it down. Now its back online checking parity. Is there any way I can easily find what caused the crash? Last diagnostics attached of course! Thanks in advance! eleven-diagnostics-20220405-0853.zip

April 6, 20224 yr Author Ill enable syslog server and will see next time! Thank you!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
April 6, 20224 yr Community Expert You have to specify the remote syslog server, which can be your Unraid server itself.
April 8, 20224 yr Author Ok, it happened again. Parity check finished 5 hours ago and now I was watching something on Plex, it stopped with a message. And the server couldnt be found/seen on my network. Ping didnt worked or couldnt loing to http etc. Edit: Here is my log before crash.. https://pastebin.com/9689cvhG Edit 2: I can't find the reason it crashed again I believe its the new CPU Edited April 8, 20224 yr by piratx
April 12, 20224 yr Author Another crash, the limit the machine/pc works is almost 3 days. After that I cant ping it or "find" it anywhere, until I restart it.

April 13, 20224 yr Community Expert I think you have to remove a device, let the balance complete without that device, then add the new device. Lets drag @JorgeB in on this.
