JorgeB
Since the disks dropped offline there were no SMART reports, so post new diags now after array start, but the disks should be OK. Quote Link to comment
GeorgeJetson20
It's amazing how stress prevents the brain from thinking clearly and in total panic when these things happen because you afraid to make the wrong move. Here is the diagnostics.tower-diagnostics-20221123-1324.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Both disks look healthy, emulated disk3 is mounting, if contents look correct you can rebuild on top: https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Storage_Management#Rebuilding_a_drive_onto_itself Quote Link to comment
GeorgeJetson20
This might be stupid question but how can i see Disk 3?? I can view from unassigned disks by clicking the disk view (that what you mean?) where it shows all the folders? If this is correct, then i will follow the rebuilding a drive onto itself. Still don't understand why this happened all of a sudden, this is scary. Quote Link to comment

On the Main tab you can click the ‘folder’ location on the right to see what the emulated drive contains. This is the same content a rebuild would produce. Unassigned Devices is not involved in this. GeorgeJetson20
Ok, i missed that but it looks like everything was there. I noticed this and might be coincidence or unrelated.. The SSD is where the VM is run from.. Is this the same type of thing or do i need to replace the SSD? Hardly used and less than 1 year old Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Run an extended SMART test on it. Quote Link to comment
GeorgeJetson20
Actually that is what i clicked (for folder location) it just doesn't say that, but i looked and everything looked good so i started the rebuild. Quote Link to comment
GeorgeJetson20
It completed and said read failure Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Then it's time to replace it. Quote Link to comment
GeorgeJetson20
Ok, that is what i figured - Good ole Samsung.. Hopefully I will be ok from this point - it's going to take 18hours to rebuild but thanks for the assistance 1 Quote Link to comment
GeorgeJetson20
One issue i forgot to report earlier because i was more worried about getting the system back online. But I have a pluggable 2.5gb USB network adapter and it worked fine in 6.92 but it didn't come up in this latest release so i just plugged ethernet back into the 1gb motherboard port for then, but there going to be an issue where it's not going to work? I stopped docker and VM and went into network settings and and it does not show my adapter to select the second eth. It's going to be rebuilding for the next 15 hours so i can't reboot to test anything, but any idea why this isn't working in this version of unraid? Quote Link to comment

GeorgeJetson20
What could i get (pci) that will definitely work with 2.5gb? I'll get it on Amazon Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
You can try installing this driver https://forums.unraid.net/topic/123638-unraid-6115-最新的r8125和r8152网卡驱动补丁/ Quote Link to comment
