thericeking
Can someone please help point me in the right direction? I want to create a RAID10 but can't find a guide on how to with UnRaid. Edited January 18, 2023 by thericeking Quote Link to comment
itimpi
Unraid does not support the traditional RAID levels on its main array (hence the name). 1 Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
You can have a raid10 pool though. 1 Quote Link to comment
thericeking
@JorgeB Can you share a link on how can I create a RAID10? Quote Link to comment
trurl
The Unraid parity array does not do traditional RAID. (Why do you want to do this?) You can create a btrfs raid10 pool separate from the Unraid parity array. Start reading here: https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Storage_Management#Pool_.28cache.29_Operations then Quote Link to comment

For performance of course. I don’t have extra SSD. I only need a little more performance. Thanks for the link but a lot of stuff on the link are dead links. Solution tjb_altf4 Posted February 2, 2023 Solution Share Posted February 2, 2023 23 minutes ago, thericeking said: Thanks for the link but a lot of stuff on the link are dead links. Once you have created a pool with at least 4 disks (btrfs), you can convert to raid10 using balance option under that pool's disk settings (click on first disk in pool from Unraid GUI > MAIN). 1 Quote Link to comment
