This has nothing to do with the CSS, so I can't really help with it.

Sure sorry I was thinking maybe related to docker or png file itself, css still working fine from back days

I've been using icons from the internet for plenty of folders (maybe all of them). I haven't seen an issue. Is it only with that one particular icon that you have this problem?

Also all my icons from inet , No two icons , also resized telegraf to 192x192 uploaded to my github

telegraf

influxdb

i Found its something related to thous containers with png icons ....

Is it a know issue for containers from a compose stack that they are missing buttons for logs, console etc. and have a big gap on the right side?

It still works fine on 6.12. Just don't update it to the latest version. Just stay on 2024.10.02.

Works the same as it always has on my 6.12.15.

I'm running Unraid 7.0.0-rc.2 and I am getting this error:

plugin: installing: folder.view.plg
Executing hook script: pre_plugin_checks
plugin: downloading: folder.view.plg ... done

plugin: installed Unraid version is too low, require at least version 7.0.0
Executing hook script: post_plugin_checks

Edit:

So I did fork the github project, removed the min="7.0.0" on the plugin tag right at the top and now its working, this is obviously a bug when checking the Unraid version.

Not really, since 7.0.0-rc is before 7.0.0, any reason you didn't update to stable?

Hi, guys, it has been a while.

I am sorry for the long absence, but I have important news regarding this plugin.

I have decided to move away from Unraid, (partly because of the new license model and the increase of forced online features) because of this I can no longer maintain the plugin.

I will make the GitHub repo an archive, if anyone wants to fork and maintain the plugin is free to do it.

Thank you for your work.

Has someone the same issue than I've ?

When I click on 1 of the folders to edit it, to add a new app in an already created folder, I land on this page :
So like if I wanted to create a new folder, I can't do anything else... and can't update folder anymore.

plugin version : 2025.01.11.1

UnRaid version : 7.0.0

Yeah I'm having the exact same problem, don't know when it started happening but I only just noticed it.
Can't edit the folders, make new folders and the docker containers list below never loads.
I have exactly the same unraid version and plugin version too.

Edited by deanosim

Had that since yesterday.
It is over...?
The plugin is dead?
Can you keep it until the end of the month? Time to reinstall and place new folders for the last time...

I have the same Unraid and plugin version and still see all container when editing or creating a new folder. Maybe a specific docker image you all using is causing this?

A friend had the same version of plug-in and OS and yesterday was working ok, today it lost all info inside the config of the folder.

Okay I just went and checked to see what plugins I had updated last and the last plugin that was updated was the Unraid Connect plugin, So I tried uninstalling it, and all of a sudden Folder.View started working again and all the weird displaying issues I've had in the last couple of days also went away, so it's something to do with the latest update to the Unraid Connect plugin, I'll look into it more tomorrow, it's already 5:30am for me.

You guys are definitely convincing me to stay on 6.12.15 until someone hopefully picks up development of this plug-in. (Fingers crossed)

I'm sure like you guys, I have way too many containers to just be in a big list.

Actually, I'm surprised something like this hasn't been integrated into unRAID. Sure would be nice to have a bit more organization for containers out-of-the-box.

Yes and when I see the change log of Unraid Connect's last update, there are some changes that relate to CSS/Web Interface...

good catch.

I've also unistalled it, and same, after Folder.view works again...

... and reinstalling Unraid Connect, breaks it again.

Since Folder.view won't be updated anymore, I hope Unraid connect will be fixed.

Hey there,

I hope anyone can help me with my issue or at least point me in the right direction.

Some time ago I already had FolderView installed on my Unraid server. At some point it didn't work anymore and I didn't bother for the time being. Now I wanted to debug it further since the amount of containers make a mess out of my server.

So when loading the docker page I get an script error when FolderView is trying to create the folders. See the attached pictures

FolderView1.png.18f6ae558ebe71e0fd2b2d3858ebc542.png

FolderView2.thumb.png.c4c72ab52c5ef7df9921276e260745a2.png

Whats interesting though is the unraidOrder it get from the marked line of the following screenshot includes names of folders and containers I once had, but that are deleted these days. Not sure if thats what causes the error but thats something thats odd from my view.

FolderView3.png.1684f64947a34a8eca52c8a23a75f5df.png

So any idea how I can fix that or at least where these informations come from Unraid?

Not sure how this plugin works for any of you since the "includes" function does not work on JS Objects like JSON.parse.
After adding Object.values() to unraidOrder (just like it was done at "order") it is an actual array which does work with ".includes". Works now on my end

I'm not much of Unriad plugin developer ( at all lol ), but I love this plugin and was bit sad when I updated to v7 Unraid today it was not working. Since I'm not alone I decided to push out my wife and kids for a walk this Saturday for some piece and quiet and fixed it :)

I did not have time yet to look how to get it to Appstore, will check it later... but you can do the manual install if you like. Its seems to work ok again, at least I can edit the folders and add new containers to them.... If you have the old version, do an export of JSON of your current setting so you do not have to manually getting it back, and then uninstall, install this version and import the settings back... worked for me :)

I am sorry to see you go @scolcipitato I have really enjoyed this plugin and it has been invaluable to me. Hopefully someone will maintain it into the future :) Good luck.

@VladoPortos Thanks for updating it. I just reinstalled it and I can again edit my folders.

One question though - and this was not introduced by your changes - I am have a real hard time saving the autostart setting - both for groups and containers. Upon refreshing they seem to reset randomly all over the place. Anyone else seeing this type of behavior?
