8.3.32-unraid tag is tested and available for home users in production.

  • Yeah not sure what is happening with Linuxserver.io or their images. I switched to binhex for everything.   As he didnt have a unifi docker I had to make one with 11notes. 11notes has docker

Did I miss a downgrade somewhere along the line?  I tried searching and came up empty.

My install is working just fine (thank you again for this wonderful app by the way).   But I went in to check my current version against the one posted at the beginning of this thread (as I sometimes do) and I noticed they are different.  The one I am using is "11notes/unifi:9.0.114-unraid" however the stable version listed at the start of this thread says "11notes/unifi:9.0.108-unraid".  Not sure how that's possible.  😬

the ones posted at the front of the forum or LTS known stable for guarantee hardware..

Unifi server application will also release minor fixes from time to time...
v9.0.108 was a build stable LTS release and Pet asking the unriad forum maintainer here classified it as a stable upgrade tag path to come into network version 9...

you can run any unfi version via the repository docker tag noted here:

https://hub.docker.com/r/11notes/unifi/tags

Currently, lattest tag known as of writing

9.0.114-unraid

Last pushed 2 months by 11notes

is the lattest...

we are waiting on 11notes to rebuild and push the next tag

https://ui.com/download/releases/network-server

to then be on and able to use v 9.1.120

https://github.com/11notes/docker-unifi

more build and testing to make sure its stable to be pushed to production...

if you want bleeding edge then usea VM/ lxc...

As @bmartino1 says, there are versions unsupported that you can use, or versions that are supported. We recommend you use a supported version unless you understand the risks and are haply to fiddle around fixing your unraid and unifi setup. However what you cannot do is come here complaining things are broken when you deviate from an official path. We support specific versions and limited versions, all of which are posted on post 1. There is also a delay between unifi releasing a new version and building, testing which is all a manual process for us. As mentioned the LXC version is automatic and you may use an automated release schedule if you prefer this option. It is totally up to you, but both have differences in their goals and implementation. It is up to you to decide what your needs are.

Thank you for the replies.  I do understand everything mentioned by both PeteAsking and bmartino1.

But why I posted the question is that I have never (to the best of my knowledge) used a repository version that was NOT posted in post 1.  it's the only place I get the version info and I only ever use the Stable version.  So I have no idea where else I would have gotten the .114 version number other than post 1.  Anyway, thank you again for the replies.  No complaints here.

@jimeez it says

Current recommended Home User tag: 11notes/unifi:9.0.114-unraid

so the fact you are using 9.0.114 is totally normal.

edit: I see what happened. I forgot to update the second time it was mentioned that was all. I will fix now.

I think it was a home page edit change that differed.

Call for testing:

9.1.120-unraid is available. I had some failed adoptions during this upgrade. Asking for others to test this tag with backups before committing to release. Rebooting the AP's (click restart on switch POE port) resolved the issue.

Upgrade path is 9.0.114-unraid -----> 9.1.120-unraid

Kind regards

Someone was asking about firmware updates a few posts ago, I see one of my devices has one so its clearly working, although unsure when I will apply the firmware as it is for a switch and I dont want to reboot it.

Installed on my system before you posted this after checking available tags. Works without any issues so far! Didn't resolve my odd Firefox bug though.

It cant resolve your firefox bug because the website is hosted externally by unifi and has nothing to do with this image.

Just upgraded from 9.0.114. No issues with the upgrade and everything connected back again.

Upgraded with no issues. All hardware adopted automatically (Switch US-24, Switch USW-Lite-8-PoE, U6-Lite, U6-LR).

Upgraded to 9.1.120 and haven't had any issues so far. I also upgraded to zone based firewalls which helped me finally solved an issue I was having with trying to route Airplay traffic between VLANS.

As other people had no issues with 9.1.120-unraid, it is promoted to home stable.

Wasn't asking you too boss :) if it fixes itself neat, but I've just resigned myself to using another browser.

Tag is 9.2.87-unraid for anyone alpha testing.

@PeteAsking I noticed there are a few new tags in the repo i.e. 9-unraid and 9.2-unraid. Does this mean if you used 9-unraid the docker would update as new builds are released in the 9.xx branch?

That's a question I'm also asking myself !

Yes it will automatically stay on the latest 9.2 branch if you use that tag (similar for 9 tag but wider scope). This is not supported with assistance here if you use that tag without some sort of backup automation so you can revert if it breaks as you will effectively be automatically an alpha tester at all times. This is to allow you to track a major build automatically while avoiding moving between major builds automatically. Its something new we have never tried before. Im not sure how intelligently unifi do their versioning. If it becomes a problem it may get removed in the future (ie people demand support and dont have any backups - as people seem to need protecting from themselves).

There is the ca apps backup in the repository if you want to try these tags. Tracking 9-unraid is probably more useful than 9.2 as there is normally only 1-2 versions of minor point releases anyway.

I have just updated the tag to 9-unraid and it successfully moved my UNA to 9.2.87. I did notice on this version of UNA that my devices stayed offline for longer than normal when UNA is upgraded so anyone that upgrades, don't panic and give it a few minutes.

So far no issues to report, but its only been running for about 10 mins. I will update if I encounter any issues

The tags are updated!

Current recommended Home User tag: 11notes/unifi:9.2.87-unraid

(Updated 19/06/2025)

Current Company/Corporate recommended tag: 11notes/unifi:9.1.120-unraid

(Updated 19/06/2025)

Current Critical Infrastructure (no downtime) tag: 11notes/unifi:8.6.9-unraid

(Updated 19/06/2025)

 Current ISwearOnAllThatIsGoodAndTrueThatIHaveABackupAndConsentToAlphaTesting tag: 11notes/unifi:9-unraid

(Updated 19/06/2025)

This docker now installs 8.6.9-unraid when deploying new by default.

Some of you will notice a new 9-unraid tag. Please ensure you read the disclaimer before using it. Three times.

Disclaimer: If you abuse this tag and complain things break it will be taken away from you forever and you will ruin it for everyone else and I will direct them to your inbox to complain. This is not a joke. You are helping to test if you use this tag and have a backup to restore from.

9-unraid will follow all updates on the 9 branch from unifi and deploy to you as they are available without testing. You can expect a similar tag for 10-unraid when unifi move to that version nomenclature.

Thanks

P

Can anybody compare this one with Linuxserver's one?

Which is lighter, more maintained, easier to set up?
