I think I might have found the issue. Recently added zoneminder docker container. The file size of the events it was recording was huge. It is weird that my dashboard showed available memory (on the cache), but in reality my cache drive was full. Deleted the stored events, Restarted the plex docker app and it is running no problems.

 

Now to figure out how to keep zoneminder from crashing my system with data.

hi all... i need some help with needo's plex app and remote access

 

I have two servers, with an instance of plex running on each.  The server Tower is for movies and tv, and Chimera is for music and pics.  Both servers are running version 0.9.15.0

 

my problem is with remote access which is odd because it was working fine till about 2 days ago when my servers were rebooted.  I suppose the reboot could have screwed something, or perhaps by rebooting I updated to a version of plex with a glitch in it.

 

Both servers show up fine on my local network.  However outside my network, only one shows up for remote access.  Here’s how they are setup on the server/settings/remote access page of the plex web gui.

 

server:  Tower

server mapping.  Private 192.168.2.66:32400  <-  Public  external IP:32400  <-  Internet.  this is working, and fully accessible outside my local network

 

server:  Chimera

server mapping.  Private 192.168.2.55:32400  <-  Public  external:32401  <-  Internet.  red X, not available outside my network

 

note that in the router, 32400 is set to forward to 192.168.2.66, and 32401 is set to forward to 192.168.2.55

 

Seems like it should work but I am far from an expert!  Any advice?

 

So Nzbdrone (Now Sonarr) became unresponsive today.  I stopped the service, clicked edit, clicked save.  It performed an update and now I get this error:

Also, Nzbdrone no longer shows up in my list of dockers anymore.  Any ideas what is going on here?

I cannot delete the image to try and redownload it because the app does not show up in my dockers.  If I try to just add the docker again, it says the image already exists and fails with the same error.

Would it be possible to have a option to grab Couchpotato from develop branch. There has been so major changes to how CP grabs files from nzbgeek and this has not been merged with the master as of yet.

I just upgraded to a yearly PlexPass. Do I have to install a different Plex Docker or update any settings to get the "premium" features? Thanks

If you are using the needo container just force an update of the container a see if it downloads the latest version 0.9.15.1

 

I am not sure if you need do set any parameters or not to get the Plex Pass release with this container.

 

The premium features is connected to your account (not a specific release) so make sure that you are logged in with your Plex account.

You seem to have some assumptions that you aren't bothering to share.

But as trurl says, this has been working without any reports of problems for other users, which would point to it being a configuration problem your end, so without more info from yourself, we can't help you...

Anything wrong here??  The wheel still just spins and asks me to download a server,  well the docker better already contain a server..

Would Ipv6 addressing interfere?  Everything else works network wise.

All the remote clients can see the server shares including the VM's installed, but just not this blasted Plex.

Emby docker works just fine but I prefer the Plex server and client setup.

Plex works just fine from a VM also. But I don't want the overhead.

 

I think that there may be something inherently wrong with the docker that has been overlooked.  I cannot get into the docker to see the files.

 

Plex says that in some cases a file needs to be deleted and the server restarted.  "See the support section of Plex"  So how do you do that with a docker???

hi, i hope you can help me. my sickbeard docker is running fine but certain configs just won't stick. for example my disks when adding a new show or my default quality settings. also in coming up shows i chose the list view but every time i refresh my browser it goes back to banner view.

 

are those commen problems and is there something i can do about that?

I'm using the couchpotato docker, using torrents to download. It works really well with the exception that sometimes it stops deleting the torrent file once the download/ seeding is complete. I have made the concerned settings in couchpotato. Its not like it doesn't work, it just stops working all of a sudden. I know this sounds like something for the CP forums, but I think I once got it working again by running new permissions on the cache disk. I would appreciate if anyone has experience with this and can help out. Below is the log from the time the renamer spotted the completed movie file in the downloads folder

I just noticed that there was an update for the docker container I was running (Plex).

I clicked update, a load of stuff was downloaded, expanded and then installed.  There was one error at the end moaning about my "tv shows" not being a valid path or something... anyways, the container is now completely gone.  Puff, nothing there.  Restarted the server, still not there.  I guess I need to reinstall it?!?  (I can't find any logs unfortunately)
