That's odd!, i can hit http://<my ip>:32400 and i get auto redirection to http://<my ip>:32400/web/index.html what browser are you using? any wacky extensions that could be blocking redirection?.
December 1, 20241 yr That is odd; I’m using safari on the iPad and chrome on the windows PC. In safari I’m using AdGuard. On the Windows (11) PC, I’m using uBlock Origin .. which I disabled to test (to no avail).
December 7, 20241 yr The WebUI link from unRAID doesn't work for me on Firefox either. It will open a new tab, using just the server IP address and port, but no redirection ever takes place. You get the XML script / page output on screen (as others have mentioned). Manually adding the '/web/index.html' string onto the end of the url in the address bar fixes the problem, and the setup web-page appears as expected. It's definitely something amiss with this version of Plex, as the Linuxserver.io version does not suffer from this issue for me, on exactly the same setup.

December 23, 20241 yr Sorry, I don't (and won't) install / use Chrome. It only seems to be an issue on a vanilla (unconfigured) install. After setting it up, the issue no longer arises (for me). Edited December 23, 20241 yr by GibsonXXI missing elaboration.
January 1, 20251 yr Hello everyone, After entering my Plex account, I’m directly taken to the Plex web library. I have no chance to set up the media server and import my data. What am I doing wrong? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
January 17, 20251 yr Hi all, total newbie here having some issues with plex transcoding. I'm trying to set it up to transcode using RAM as per the TRaSH guide. I followed IBRACORP's instructions on his "Mastering Plex with RAM Transcoding on Unraid: Expert Tips" video. However it appears to be slightly outdated as after inserting "--device=/dev/dri --mount type=tmpfs,destination=/tmp,tmpfs-size=18000000000 --no-healthcheck" into the extra perameters section he simply moves on whereas in my edit section I have a "variable: TRANS_DIR" section. I then followed the instructions on here https://github.com/binhex/documentation/blob/master/docker/faq/plex.md however when i log into plex on my mobile and start playing a 1080p video my CPU usage goes up lots and my RAM usage remains unchanged, presumably this means it is not using my RAM to transcode. Additionally the mobile plex player stops the video after roughly a minute. Any help would be amazing Edited January 17, 20251 yr by Ruskey
January 17, 20251 yr Transcode to RAM Go to unRAID web ui/Docker tab/left click Plex container and select 'edit' Click on the toggle for 'advanced view' Go to variable named 'TRANS_DIR' and set the value to /transcode Click on 'Add another Path, Port, Variable, Label or Device' and select 'Config Type' of 'Path' Set 'Container Path' to /transcode and 'Host Path' to /tmp Click on 'Add' Click on 'Apply' to apply the change

March 2, 20251 yr My server has been off for the last week when I powered it on 2 days ago everything was working fine but after updating the plex container it now doesn't work When I connect to it locally (http://[Server IP]:32400) it says "The connection was reset" When I try and connect via app.plex.tv it say "[Server Name] is currently unavailable" When I try and connect remotely (https://[External IP]:32400) i get "<Response code="503" title="Maintenance" status="Plex Media Server is currently running startup maintenance tasks."/>" I've tried forcing an update, and deleting perms.txt
March 2, 20251 yr Hi everyone, I installed plex-binhex on a new Unraid server. While running it, i encountered this error. I tried removing the image / delete its appdata to start from scratch. Still having the same issue. If someone can point me to the right direction, I would really appreciate it.
