The permission on the share is currently set to 2777 (standard permissions are 0777). You may have trouble accessing this share.

 

I have this for a few shares.  When I run it, it still lists the same warnings no matter how many times I do it.  Any idea?

Setgid is set.  (not an issue) I'm actually going to be removing the permission test from fcp, and leaving it within the extended test as that is more comprehensive (and closer to reality on issues)

So I should ignore it?

Is that a backup of your appdata you made yourself?  The destination for CA backups are automatically excluded (along with appdata itself)  yesterday's version allows you to exclude additional folders.

Only you can decide that.  If it's your actual appdata or CA backup destination  then there's a bug

I recently installed this plugin and ran a scan. It suggested that I needed to change for permissions of 0777 on shares so I went ahead and did it. Ever since then, when Sabnzbd downloads something the Unrar fails. I get message:

 

Error "[Errno 13] Permission denied" while unpacking RAR files

 

I have checked the permissions of the /mnt/user/Media/Temp Downloads folder where completed downloads go and it says:

 

drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 4096 Jul 14 21:00 Temp\ Downloads/

 

/mnt/cache/.sabnzbd/Downloads /incomplete says

Its worse than I thought... I had to restart SAB, Sickbeard etc but nothing will start. Just get:

 

Start failed. No PID created

I have uninstalled everything and then reinstalled it all. Still having some issues with Couchpotato as I was trying to copy the database from the old one but it wont start with it but not the end of the world.....

 

So all good now, wont be applying any permissions stuff EVER again

Another suggestion for a check that I cannot see in the list of checks done ...... The use of legacy IDE disk interface.

 

I have noticed that this is a frequent observation when people's syslogs are examined for problems.

I recently initiated an unclean shutdown via ipmi when trying to access the bios menu on my system. Now FCP keeps notifying me of my idiocy. 

I know I screwed up. How do I stop FCP from bringing it up constantly? Already have a wife for that.

The acknowledge button would have disappeared.  At that point, a rescan (or the next scheduled scan) wouldn't have bugged you about it.

 

If you want to receive notifications again about it, just hit monitor error next to it in the ignored section

No. Just a popup that the scan is running.
