is it a good idea to use mail server in unraid and it using a lot of RAM?

and if we can really use it with dynamic home ip ?

or maybe some one using it on oracle free VPS ?

Just installed the docker container and paired with swag. I can see the logon web UI screen but I was not able to find the default admin logon username and password. The original document webpage is very poor, no information about the web UI at all.

I tried to look into some file in the container config but found nothing. Except a users.db file with an insert into users statement, but the content is not the correct username and password.

So anybody know how to move forward after the docker container is up and running?

I'm now having this same issue. It started about the middle of last month, and I'm just now noticing I had to go manually release a bunch of emails from quarantine. No emails come through automatically, and go there instead.

 

Anyone figure it out?

My friend just deleted all karma records and that seemed to fix it.  His server had only been running a couple days though.

I have Post.IO up and running for about a month now. Without major issues. I am using an alternative SMTP provided to avoid being flagged for spam. 

 

I would like to know if it is possible to remove the admin links from the webmail pages?

After several tests with poste.io, I realized that the problem probably comes from the DNSBL function with zen.spamhaus.org because I have the same problem when I activate it on Docker-mailserver, all incoming mails are rejected.

After UNRAID update from 6.11 to 6.12.3, poste.io is not working any longer.

When I try to start the container, I get pop-up error (in UNRAID GUI): "Execution Error, Server error"

I can't access the logs from UNRAID->Docker->Click on poste icon-> select "Logs"

For me everything is working fine, but I would like to be able to disable POP3 connections to the server and only allow IMAP.

 

Is it possible somehow? Because I didn't find anything allowing to select which protocol to allow or not.

 

I could block the POP3 TCP ports on the firewall, but the Autodiscover.xml still show the POP3 configuration which on some client software is proposed alongside IMAP when configuring the account. And I would like to avoid that "choice".

 

 

Anyone else having the docker fail to start after the latest update?

 

I'm on Unraid version 6.12.6, and noticed the docker wasn't started yesterday, after updating the night before.

 

The docker just says "Execution Error" and "Server Error" on the same popup whenever I try to start it.

 

I even tried reinstalling using the 2.4.10 version, but still got the same result.

 

EDIT: Wanted to mention that it was working fine before the docker updated.

 

EDIT 2: I was able to delete the container, reinstall it with the cert paths pointed to the correct locations in Swag (it changed, and broke it I'm guessing), and now it starts. I can see the files get copied, but I can't get to the web UI. It just says 404 Not Found. I've tried with and without the "-e "HTTPS=OFF" parameter. I even tried changing the container paths to be "/etc/" instead of "/data/", but still no luck.No clue what else to do.

 

EDIT 3: I finally figured it out! It was missing port 8280 from the URL when accessing the web UI. Interestingly, it randomly started doing that automatically when accessing it locally form Unraid. I just noticed it now once it started working. I had to edit the Swag proxy-conf to fix accessing it via public URL.

I've had poste working for quite a while but after I switched my reverse proxy to traefik, I have had issues keeping poste working properly. Currently, mail.homeserver.co letsencrypt certificate is issued using traefik with ports 80 and 443 being handled by traefik. I then have ports 25,110,143,465,587,993,995,4190,8080,8443 forwarded directly to the container. With this configuration, I have attached a screenshot of the connection diagnostics. But when I attempt to add the mail account to a device, the device says the certificate is untrusted because it's expired. I think poste doesn't like the fact that traefik holds the TLS certificate for mail.homeserver.co. I tried to use tls passthrough in my traefik config to allow poste to handle the tls certificates for simplicity but this way I am unable to access the host. If I attempt to issue new certificates using the poste admin panel, it keeps failing. Can someone help me figure out to fix this?
