It might also be something safari is doing in rendering the gui.

I just looked, i'm on gray theme (I couldn't remember)

strange, switched once more and now i do see these thin lines as bars as well.

but then, i'm too hooked on the black theme (navi bars, condensed look), so went back. i wish i could get that line-look in the black theme 🙂

This action clears a configuration file on your flash device. Part of a fix introduced some versions ago (can't remember exactly which one)

All plugins and dockers are updated (and working). It's only GUI safe mode (which uses the bzroot-gui file) that works. Regular safe mode, that uses the usual bzroot file doesn't. So it seems to be specific to the bzroot file.

Does GUI not-safe mode work? How about if you try GUI not-safe mode but before booting rename your config/plugins folder so none of the plugins load?

Just updated. What the hell? Why does unraid think this disk was 4TB? What do I do here? I could of course just start it and let it build parity but there should be no reason to need to do so.

never seen, that unRAID detects are drive wrong.

It looks as though your boot flash might be corrupted. You can check it in a PC. You could start a new thread in General Support and post diagnostics.

It's detecting it correctly, as 8 TB. It's it "memory" of the disk that's wrong. It's expecting to see a 4 TB disk, so probably a corrupt file on the flash.

Server is in a remote location so I can't do this easily. But I did open a thread. Though I get the feeling you are right, and the super.dat got corrupted. Would be nice if that could get fixed without doing another parity rebuild.

I am new to UnRAID so this might be me...

 

I updated to 6.6.6 and now I can't get to the unRAID GUI from a windows machine by typing "Tower" in the browser.  I can get there with an IP address.  Don't know if I did something else somewhere.  As I mentioned, still learning.

Have you tried "//tower" or "http://tower" ?

Yep, at the bottom of the browser (Chrome), in the status line, it simply says "Waiting for available socket..." and nothing ever happens.
