August 18, 2025Aug 18 64TB array atm, with an extra 16TB parity disk. And a cache drive of 2x1TB in mirror mode. Also first post here, so hello everyone :) greetingz from The Netherlands.
January 1Jan 1 Curently 56 TB. But i am in the process of replacing my parity for 24TB. and later the 8 and 12 tb's also. And i still have some slots free to add in more.
January 8Jan 8 Currently sitting with 6x20tb + 2x16tb seagate exos on my main array. (112TB usable space, 2 of the disks are parity) and an additional 2x4tb wd black for my cache pool in mirror mode. Some of these disks are reaching 20k power on hours with no sign of damages on them, which is kinda impressive given my older consumer HDDs died at 5000h.I got 2 more free HDD slots on my NAS, though if I were to expand any further, I probably would go for a Disk shelf or JBOD and slot a bigger HBA into it.Also first post here, howdy from Denmark! Update 12-16-2019Finished upgrading hard drives to 10 TB's. With my old 8 TB drives created a second server. 230 total TB's between the 2. I now am done. Specs are in signature. added picture of my 150 server..AKA Landfill Edit : This is my current storage and as you can see , I have upgraded to the 10 TB drives. If I do go larger next step would be to the 16TB drives.Holy hell! You must have some serious fan(s) in there to cool that monstrosity!
March 13Mar 13 I currently have 256TB in a supermicro 4u.18x16TB with 2 drives for parity. The empty "bottom" six slots are covered with foil to create better airflow. They will soon be filled with more 16TB refurbished ebay drivesEdit: Oh, yeah, I have a few of the stickers you see available if you're interested. They're really high quality vinyl. Hit me up :) Edited March 13Mar 13 by Abbe
