@b3rs3rk Feature idea, for active apps. Show a "+12" badge after the app icons, to indicate the number of process known to use GPU resources, but where the app cant be identified. I am assuming and hoping one process correlates to one app.

@Moniker_30 Thanks for documenting these things. My datapoint is all that worked before 7.0 still works the same. Not seeing Whisper dockers for example, but app detection is not flawless as explained in quote below.

I can make it show number of processes like the Nvidia version.

Hover will show number of occurences for a specific app. Intel does not show memory at present.

    Good day, plugin also stopped working for me.   root@Unraid:/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/gpustat# cd /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/gpustat/ && php ./gpustatus.php Fatal error: Uncaught TypeE

  • I have created a PR for b3rs3rk's plugin to add MultiGPU support for 6.12 as Dashboard panels are different in 6.12. The PR works on pre realeases but does not provide Multi support. There are some ot

Try setting refresh to 4000 and intel top timers to 1.5 3.0

1.5 3.0 worked for me. I didn't have to change refresh. Kept it at 2000

I still can't get IMC Bus Utilization to show anything for my A380, it's stuck on N/A. I tried multiple combinations of timers to no avail.

If intel GPU top does not provide then GPU stats cannot display

IMC Bus is Integrated Memory Controller and that refers to the CPU, so to speak the RAM utilisation and therefore nothing will be reported on a dGPU.

Please keep in mind that even not all CPUs support the IMC Bus utilisation.

This is what it shows

It worked before switching MBO. Not sure why it hasn't since.

Edit: correction. MBO + CPU. Went from i7-6700 to i7-12700.

Was that on the 380 or igpu? My A770 is out of my test box but I don't think it gave IMC but my igpu does which is running 12600k

As said above not all CPUs support the IMC utilisation.

It might be possible that your new CPU/Motherboard combination doesn't support IMC, you can also deactivate that here in the settings from GPU Statistics:

A380:

Worked fine before the upgrade to the new MBO + CPU. Here's an older screenshot I took from the previous setup with the same card:

Any way to check that info?

If the CPU/Motherboard doesn't report it the answer is no.

The IMC is, as said above, located on the CPU not the GPU and if it is not reported then you simply won't get a output.

Okay. Shame, but it is what it is.

To answer my own question, lspci.

I updated to Nvidia Driver 570.124.04 from 570.86.16 today.  After I rebooted my server the power field shows N/A, it was working fine before the reboot.  No other changes to the system only the Nvidia driver update.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Nvidia driver plugin, no change.

I rolled back to 570.86.16 and it works fine again.

GPUStatPower.thumb.jpg.ab645854c16da5be63f99a3dbc66b2d5.jpg

There appears to be some change from 570.86.16 to 570.124.04 that GPU Statistics does not like for reporting power consumption on Unraid 7.0.1.  Let me know if you need anything else.  Thank you.

may compare the output from

nvidia-smi

which is the base for the plugin

It is known that Nvidia removes features from cards in nvidia-smi (since they only care about compatibility with newer cards) and therefore it might be why you are seeing that -> newer driver -> probably removed the power reading for your card in nvidia-smi

@alturismo thanks, I didn't even think to check that.  Here are the results of nvidia-smi for both drivers.  Both show power usage.

then i would rather post in the gpu stats plugin section with those screens

Post /tmp/gpujson

Nvidia-smi -L to get GUIDs

Also nvidia-smi -q -x GUID for each GPU.

Looks like they have changed the name in the JSON will work on a fix. Just used to be power draw but now is average and instant.

               <gpu_power_readings>
                        <power_state>P8</power_state>
                        <average_power_draw>11.90 W</average_power_draw>
                        <instant_power_draw>11.81 W</instant_power_draw>
                        <current_power_limit>350.00 W</current_power_limit>
                        <requested_power_limit>350.00 W</requested_power_limit>
                        <default_power_limit>350.00 W</default_power_limit>
                        <min_power_limit>100.00 W</min_power_limit>
                        <max_power_limit>375.00 W</max_power_limit>
                </gpu_power_readings>

If you want to test nano /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/gpustat/lib/Nvidia.php

add this section:

                if (isset($data->gpu_power_readings->instant_power_draw)) {
                    $this->pageData['power'] = (float) $this->stripText(' W', $data->gpu_power_readings->instant_power_draw);
                    $this->pageData['power'] = $this->roundFloat($this->pageData['power']) . 'W';
                    }

So should look like.

 if ($this->settings['DISPPWRDRAW']) {
            if (isset($data->power_readings)) {
                if (isset($data->power_readings->power_draw)) {
                    $this->pageData['power'] = (float) $this->stripText(' W', $data->power_readings->power_draw);
                    $this->pageData['power'] = $this->roundFloat($this->pageData['power']) . 'W';
                }
                if (isset($data->power_readings->power_limit)) {
                    $this->pageData['powermax'] = (string) $this->stripText('.00 W', $data->power_readings->power_limit);
                }
            }
            if (isset($data->gpu_power_readings)) {
                if (isset($data->gpu_power_readings->power_draw)) {
                    $this->pageData['power'] = (float) $this->stripText(' W', $data->gpu_power_readings->power_draw);
                    $this->pageData['power'] = $this->roundFloat($this->pageData['power']) . 'W';
                    }
                if (isset($data->gpu_power_readings->instant_power_draw)) {
                    $this->pageData['power'] = (float) $this->stripText(' W', $data->gpu_power_readings->instant_power_draw);
                    $this->pageData['power'] = $this->roundFloat($this->pageData['power']) . 'W';
                    }
                if (isset($data->power_readings->power_limit)) {
                    $this->pageData['powermax'] = (string) $this->stripText('.00 W', $data->gpu_power_readings->current_power_limit);
                }
            }
        }

@SimonF I added the code section you provided, refreshed the page, and power section of the GPU Statistics dashboard is working again.  Thank you for the quick fix!

I'm not getting any power draw on my GPU, i'm also wondering, is there any way I can output this towards grafana? Would love to get that to work if someone knows a way.
