  1. I removed it, check for updates - same Rebooted, check for updates - same no change
  2. Still doing it. Throwing out a hail marry to some of the greats that have helped me in the past @itimpi @Squid (threw in an updated diagnostic) tower-diagnostics-20220721-0710.zip
  3. Anyone? edit: tried restoring to before i downloaded bazzarr and looks to be the same (its rebooting now)
  4. I should mention i'm running 6.10.3 Edit: I just tried tried using this method, and it didn't work It came from this thread:
  5. Not sure if it was just a coincidence, but last week i installed Bazarr (linuxserver's version) and noticed that afterwards all my docker versions say Not Available. I ended up deleting the Bazarr docker, but docker version didn't go back to normal. I just tried restarting the server and it didn't go back to normal. Dockers are still working normally. 6. That would make sense. I'll probably just switch it off of the cumulative check, i dont think it worked since i saw it running the parity check past 6am. Yeah, but damn, that would be nice to get speeds that fast.
  7. I just upgraded from 6.9.2 to 6.10.3 about a week ago and a few days ago it ran its first parity check. I had it set to do the Cumulative Parity check to start at midnight on the 1st of the month and run for 6hrs. I noticed at about 6:30 am on the 1st that the parity was still running, didn't really worry too much about it. Today i go in and check in on the server and see that it finished the parity check in 7hrs. I'm running two 16tb WD Golds as parity and never have seen it this fast before at a whopping 585 MB/s. Usually it always runs around 130-140 MB/s. What the hell is going on? Is there some magic sauce in 6.10.3 that makes parity run 4x as fast?
  8. is it this setting or something else? Edit: i think i found it:
  9. Thats really interesting. I didn't really mess with the flash drive, so i'm not sure. It should automatically mount the UD when the array start?
  10. I just added a second 1tb ssd as a cache and set it to raid0 (all my important data is on the array with dual parity). It went pretty smoothly, but i couldn't get back into plex. I noticed that my unassigned drive that i keep my plex app data on wasn't mounted and the name had changed from: to: I've never had a unassigned device not automatically mount and also i have no idea why it changed from "Plex_appdata" to the drives serial number. Makes me a little worried....i was able to change it back to "Plex_appdata" and Plex pop'd back up, but now i'm a little worried.
  11. I'll post it over there. Forgot it was a separate plugin and not baked into unraid. Edit: here it is: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/92462-unassigned-devices-managing-disk-drives-and-remote-shares-outside-of-the-unraid-array/?do=findComment&comment=1110128

  13. Per the script page, i dont see anything with /mnt that is taking up space. Anyone have any ideas?
  14. 15. Just shrank a disk off the array and im told Rootfs is full. Dont even know where to start....haven't seen this one before. tower-diagnostics-20220224-1619.zip
  16. I did read that, i was hoping it was a fluke and hitting the "acknowledge" button next to the thumbs down would be it, but i checked back about 20min later and it jumped to 5. Its been about 90min and no increase so far. I'm trying to move all the data off a drive and zero it out so it can be removed. I'm guessing i should address it once the unbalance is done in about 2hrs before i start to zero the drive?
  17. My heart skipped a beat when i saw a thumbs down on my second parity drive. Looks like i have a UDMA Crc error. It started about 45min ago. Did a quick search and sounds like its a communication error (sata cable?). I currently have unbalance moving data off a 3tb drive and spreading it across a few different 14tb drives. I made sure that the parity drives are plugged directly into the mobo, not through the hba card. I plan to check the connection of my sata cable to the drives and mobo connection after the unbalance is done. I hadn't touched anything on the array for a few days, but i have been shrinking the amount of disks i have so there has been some movement of sata/power cables. This hurting any of my data?
  18. Now that i've finally got my parity drives all upgraded to WD Gold 16tb and am clearing my last 14tb drive (it was a parity drive at one point, now a data drive), i'm wanting to remove two 2tb & two 3tb drives out of the array. I've already removed 2 drives using the Unbalance -> zero'ing script ->new config method....doing this one at a time. My question: is it safe to use unbalance multiple to move data off the drives at the same time? If i select "From" the 4 drives to be removed and "To" the 4 14tb drives, will it bottle neck down like crazy? With the zero'ing, i think the 2tb drives i did took around 4-5hrs, can i set 4 drives to do the zero'ing and then let it run overnight and hopefully be able to use plex the following morning?
  19. Thanks! It looks like the rebuild counter restarted, but current position shows the rebuild is still going strong:
  20. Thanks! I'll start the format! Once its done with the format, it'll show up in the array automagically? Edit: Looks like it pauses the parity rebuild: Array Started • Formatting device(s) • Parity-Sync / Data-Rebuild 58.4 %(Paused) Edit2: Nevermind...parity rebuild is back up and running a second after i posted the Paused rebuild
  21. I just upgraded my dual parity drives from 2 14tb to 2 16tb drives. Went smoothly, just swaped a parity drive and rebuilt parity for each drive change. So i had 2 14tb drives just sitting there and no extra sata power connectors, so i used unbalance to move all the data off of a 2tb drive (trying to consolidate all data to 4 14tb drives instead of the hodge podge of 2/3tb'ers. I was following the spaceinvaders video (not realizing there was a way to do it without the parity rebuild, later in his video) and powered down and removed the 2tb drive and installed the 14tb drive. Fired up the array and did a New Config and made sure the correct 16tb drives were in the correct parity slots...and started the parity rebuild (about half way through as of right now). It says the 14tb i installed is Unmountable: No File System. I figured it would do that since is used to be a parity drive and now is a data drive. I see the format option at the bottom below Stop the Array. Is it safe to do this while a parity rebuild is happening? i was just hoping to save some time since i'm sure formatting will take a bit for 14tb.
  22. Right now i' have 3 computers: Unraid Server (24/7) Blue Iris Server (24/7) Gaming Computer (10hrs/daily), thinking about consolidating everything to unraid Here's the hardware Cliffnotes: Unraid: i7-7700k (4c8t), 16gb ram, Asus Z270-A Prime Mobo, LSI 9211-8i HBA, Quadro P200 in a Fractal Define 7, 650w psu, 9 sata drives and 1 128gb m.2 (plex appdata), mostly plex and arr's dockers. 2 16tb WD Gold, 4 14tb WD White's, 2 1tb Mx500 Cache ssd, 128gb m.2 for plex appdata Blue Iris: Refurb HP Elite Desk G1 SFF, i7-4790 (4c/8t), 16gb Ram, 3tb storage drive Gaming: Ryzen 9 3900x (12c/24t), Coolermaster 240 AIO, 16gb ram, Asus ROG Strix x570_E Mobo, Evga 3060ti, 512gb 970pro, NZXT H510i (hate the case, no airflow), 500w psu I'm thinking about consolidating everything into unraid. Am i crazy? I'm fairly energy usage conscious, so i really like how my unraid server just sips about 60w when nothing crazy is going on, i believe full tilit is about 120w. My Gaming computer runs anywhere around 100-200w depending on gaming/idle mining. The blue iris server i dont think takes much power, its more of the poe cameras. I dont really do a ton of gaming, but i do have a HTC Vive (w/ wireless adapter thats cpu hungry, thats why i went overkill with the 3900x) that doesn't get much use now that i have a Oculus Quest 2 (i use airlink a decent amount, not sure how much cpu it uses) It would be quite the hardware shuffle, but here's what it would look like: Define 7 Case, 3900x, Might use the AIO but probably switch to a Noctua NH-D15 Upgrade Ram to 32gb or 64gb (chrome tabs lol) 3060ti (gaming), P2000 (Plex), HBA Card Upgrade to a 800w+ PSU Storage: 2 16tb WD Gold (Unraid parity), 4 14tb WD Whites (Unraid Storage), 2 1tb sata Mx500 ssd's (unraid cache), 128gb m.2 (plex appdata) , 512gb 970pro m.2 (gaming pc), 128gb sata ssd (blue iris), 3tb sata Hard Drive (dedicated Blue Iris storage) My concerns: Blue Iris really likes intel quicksync, i would be loosing out on that. I could add a small card like a 1050 but at that point all my pcie x16 slots would be full, Currently i'm at 10 sata ports and the ROG mobo has 8 sata ports, so i would need the HBA Card. I could start utilizing a pcie x1 slot and get a x1 hba card and put some/all the 14tb sata drives on it. I have a feeling that the 3900x shouldn't have a problem with data handling. This is getting to be a lot of PCIE lanes being used, the 3900x has 24 gen4 lanes not sure how everything would be divided up. I've never really ran vm's (i have one windows vm installed on unraid right now, but haven't used it). Is there any downside to running a windows vm daily? I'm thinking each of the 3 would be getting 4c/8t. Other Options and Costs: Above Plan: $150/$300 in ram (32gb/64gb), $100 Cooler, $200 PSU ~$500 upgrade cost and everything in one machine (could keep the AIO and just do 32gb ram for around $300) Sell the 7700k and 4790 machine to recoup. Keep gaming pc separate and put blue iris on the unraid server - 0$ cost and not really much gained Do Nothing: $0 Sell all cpu/mobo's and buy a new Intel Processor and mobo ~ $1K+ not sure how much i can sell all the systems for.
  23. I've got a p2000 that doesn't really do anything other than plex transcoding. If i set this up and its mining while no one is trancoding on plex....what happens if a user starts a transcode?
  24. i'll remember that moving forward if that error shows up again.
