  1. Just rebooted the server, and now dropbox is again complaining about the diskformat (my ssd is xfs) which is weird, it updated everything 2 days ago and was syncing as well. It won't sync now...
  2. I followed the install howto in the link. So just downloaded the package and then upgradepkg --install-new glibc-2.23-x86_64-4_slack14.2.txz.
  3. I've installed the Dropbox folder on a XFS formatted SSD, and manually upgraded the glibc in the docker to 2.23 using https://slackware.pkgs.org/14.2/slackware-patches-x86_64/glibc-2.23-x86_64-4_slack14.2.txz.html since Dropbox logging was also complaining that it needed a glibc version >2.19 (docker has 2.17) and now it is working again.
  4. O, so the safest thing to do is uninstall nerdpack, upgrade unraid, and re-install nerdpack so nerdpack will be updated as well?
  5. Possibly a stupid question; but i'm running unraid 6.5.3 and i've read that upgrading to 6.6.3 will break the nerdpack, is that correct? The advice on the upgrade topic is to remove nerdpack, but i need nerdpack for several things, git, python, perl, etc... So does this mean i can not upgrade to unraid 6.6.3?
  6. Got a reaction back from MyMedia: "This definitely could be possible but is not implemented yet. We could trigger IFTTT actions on key track actions from MyMedia. We will have a think and get back to you"
  7. No, it;s not expensive at all, on the contrary i'll see if i can contact support.
  8. Scanning problem solved but trial period is over... I have an Alexa dot 2, so my idea is to stream mymedia over bluetooth to a bluetooth device connected to my receiver. I'm thinking of an Audioengine B1 or an Arcam rBlink. Now, it is great to order Alexa around with mymedia, and it will play over bluetooth, but... i have to find a way to set the right input on my receiver when mymedia starts playing. As far as i can see, there is no possibility to use MyMedia as an IFTTT trigger or as a 'thing' in Stringify? Any ideas? I'm look for something like "IF mymedia is playing, THEN tell Logitech Harmony to select input 2"
  9. I did have it installed on the same disk (disk1) where my musiclibrary is on... i usually install dockers on my cache/ssd... i've reinstalled it on the ssd now, didn't have time yet to see if it is better, i assume it will be
  10. After installing this i noticed this docker keeps the disk(s) where you store your music library, spinned up 100% of the time... which is really bad. Is there some setting in the docker that might prevent this?
  11. This is great, thank you!
  12. 40TB Supermicro X9SCM, no VM's, 4 dockers (sabnzbd, sonarr, dropbox, squeezeserver)... 4GB. Maybe i'll put in some more once i get some time to play with VM's etc. For now, even 4GB looks like overkill
  13. After rebooting both my mac and the unraid server, it looks like the mystery upspinning ghost is gone. For now.
  14. No, that is ok. It will add a cron job that spins up disk 9 at 7:01 every saturday, so that timemachine can start at 7:05 without complaining that it can not find or access the disk: 1 7 * * 6 /boot/custom/spinup_timemachine.sh and the script basically does: mdcmd spinup parity mdcmd spinup 9 The kuroautomode is a deamon that checks the power state of my TV. It does not do any disk access. This has been running for years now on my V5 unraid. I suspect Sonarr to be spinning up some disks now and then, for it's syncing process. But these show up in file access. But like i mentioned, there are also disks spinned up without fileaccess plugin showing anytthing.
  15. Pfff.. adding cache_dirs is making it even worse, now disk 1 is also spinning up constantly, if i spin it down, it gets spinned up again immediatly. No activity is logged. Damn. i can only spin it down if is disable cache_dirs. What a mess.
  16. - when it starts, it spins up ALL drives sequentially... i manually spinned (spun?) them down again. - did a test by deleting a file. It got logged in the plugin screen - after a while, parity & disk9 spinned up for unknown reason. Was not detected by the plugin... diagnostics attached. unraid-diagnostics-20180604-1221.zip
  17. I've installed this, the first thing it does is... spinning up all disks... Why is that? Or is that caused by the inotifywait commands? Do i have to spin all down again by hand?
  18. I enabled it and there was an option 'scan user shares'? i enabled as well, since user shares are the ones i want to keep in memory.
  19. Maybe i don't understand the purpose of this; but if i start it, all my disks are getting spinned up and are constantly accessed and monitored, never spinning down anymore... i thought this was to PREVENT spinning up disks... removed the plugin, and all my disks are spinned down again.
  20. I must have done something wrong the first time; just installed it again, got the url, and it is syncing now
  21. It won't sync either. I'm removing this, thanks for the help so far, but this is not working.
  22. I've been running unraid V5 until last week; with a running dropbox plugin for some years, but for some reason that dropbox plugin stopped working. I was hoping with V6 this trouble with Dropbox would be in the past, Dockers were the Big Answer to Everything... but i guess it's still a lot of trouble to get Dropbox working.
  23. @emmcee could be. Dockers were up to date but i pushed check for updates just to be sure. Now it seems to been linked to my account, i'm waiting to see if it syncs as well...
  24. Ah ok... found it. Took the latest url and pasted it, but the website is complaining that i'm using an old version of Dropbox and need to update...
