  1. I figured out the skyhook error seems related to my vpn. If I disable my openvpn in deluge it works. I have no idea why or what I need to do... Any assist is appreciated
  2. Just need a bit of assistance. I rebuilt my server, all drives are the same except my cache. I backed it up, restored it and all my dockers and everything are restored. Problem is now that after my files are downloaded I'm seeing the following error in the event log and I'm not sure why as I didn't change anything Couldn't import episode /data/completed/Beacon.23.S01E05.Rocky.1080p.AMZN.WEB-DL.DDP5.1.H.264-NTb[EZTVx.to].mkv: Access to the path '/tv/Beacon 23' is denied. It's happening to all my downloads. They get copied to /mnt/disks/UNASSNDisk/Media/TV Shows/ Also now, when searching for a tv series, I get error "can't communicate to skyhook". Also can't search in Radarr as well. This was all working until I rebuilt my server but not sure why though as I did a restore on my cache. I'm not sure why I am now getting this but not sure how to fix it. 3. figured out. Had to click erase on the drive.
  4. I backed up my cache disk in order to swap it out with another disk. I stopped the array, selected the new drive and when I click Start to start the array I get an error that says "wrong pool state" - too many missing disks. I"m not sure why it's saying that as all I'm doing is swapping it out. https://photos.app.goo.gl/CV7dbxjrKfD1LSzT6
  5. I did another backup, I don't see any errors. I'm still not sure if this is good. ab.debug.log ab.log
  6. I did a backup which appeared to go ok, well until I got an email that indicated appdata backup Error Check the backup log tar creation failed. I have no idea what it's pointing to. I've attached my logs...I don't see anything that it's pointing to. Any assistance is appreciated ab.debug.log ab.log
  7. Not sure if this matters but I think I'm using the newest version of appdata backup and I just realized there's a diff thread for it. Hopefully I can ask a few more questions. I only have like 4 or 5 dockers, like Sonarr, Radarr, Deluge VPN, Emby. Once the backup finishes, is it simply a matter of swapping out my drive, assigning to cache and then just restoring to it and that's it? Nothing else needs to be done? Do I have to do anything with the docker image? This really is a little overwhelming. THis is what happens when your server is working and you don't bother changing anything for years and then forced to.
  8. Ok so under /mnt/cache I have appdata and system. Do I backup both or just appdata? Is there a guide somewhere that goes through this? Space Invaders video is a little different I guess as it's an older version and I"m not sure if it's still valid
  9. I'm trying to replace my cache drive with a different one and so would like to do a backup and restore. I downloaded your app but not quite sure what to select to backup. I seem to have two options Scenario 1 is on the cache and scenario 2 is on the user share. I'm unsure which to select. https://imgur.com/a/AQZcqOk
  10. Still can't figure out why I can't backup the appdata share. I know it's going to be something obvious but for the life of me I can't figure it out.
  11. I'm trying to backup my appdata to a share I created but now I can't seem to get my backup working. I created the backup share on my array, when I go to backup/restore and select my appdata and select destination for the backup folder. I can't click to apply it. Geez every step seems to not work for something that seems to easy in the Space Invader video. https://photos.app.goo.gl/T2qWJuN2mNz7Z17b6
  12. Ok well I created the share but now I can't seem to get my backup working. I created the backup share on my array, when I go to backup/restore and select my appdata and select destination for the backup folder. I can't click to apply it. Geez every step seems to not work for something that seems to easy in the video.... https://photos.app.goo.gl/T2qWJuN2mNz7Z17b6
  13. Think I got it. I put in 50GB and it worked. Thanks!
  14. Not really sure what to put there...this is what my drives show https://photos.app.goo.gl/ayVwtcf9LgVZ4VX36
  15. I'm tryiing to create it on my array. I have 826GB free on it https://photos.app.goo.gl/KtYJ2M5HZ9defUaz8
  16. I rebuilt my server and now most is all up and working. I want to move my cache drive which is a SATA SSD to a M.2 drive on my motherboard freeing up a SATA port for storage. I'm following Space Invaders video on how to do this but it's not working. He indicates to create a share called backup and there my problem starts. I can no longer create a share. I go through all the steps and select primary array and not cache drive for my share. I click Add Share and the screen flashes as if it's creating it but when I go back to shares it's not there. I tried rebooting but same problem. I'm on 6.12.6 and attached is my diagnostics file.... tower-diagnostics-20231211-2229.zip
  17. I think I'll break this out into it's own topic as the cache drive issue explanation you provided helps.
  18. I rebooted my server but the shares I created are still not showing up. My cache drive is an SSD...not sure if that matters...I did have a plugin that had SSD trim in the name or something like that in the name but it had an error and removed it. I don't even see listed as a plug to download anymore..so maybe it's no longer needed.
  19. I noticed that looking at my other shares they have an SMB Security Settings option but when creating a new share I don't have that option. I also don't have an option for Prefer for the cache drive...I'm using 6.12.5 I've attached my diagnostics if that helps tower-diagnostics-20231211-2229.zip
  20. While going through his video I'm having a problem. He indicated to create a share called appdatabackup...which I am following however, when I create the backup folder on my array and click Done...the share doesn't show up under the Shares tab. I tried it twice and still doesn't show...can't figure out why... Here's what my share looks like https://photos.app.goo.gl/Mxvx8wMKMNZusHCJ7
  21. After rebuilding my server I am going through the process of backing up my cache drive to an M2. drive. I'm watching Space Invader's video on this. One question I have that is not in the video is I now notice that there's an option for Cache to Array or Array to Cache. Specifically I'm looking at the appdata and system shares. I'm a little unsure what these should be set to. By default they are on Array to Cache. Do I just leave it like that?
  22. Just saw this now after trying the new usb flash. I did as you indicated and it worked as well. Great! Now to check my system and get it all working
  23. Well, discovered my problem...sort of. I went out an bought a new usb flash drive and downloaded the Unraid USB Creater and installed the free version. It worked! So I'm guessing my usb drive is bad. Question is how do I now use the new usb flash drive. Can I just copy the contents from the old drive to the new one? Do I need to register the new flash drive? It's been quite awhile so not sure what I need to do.
  24. I took out the cmos batter for 5min and was able to get the BIOS to see my keyboard. The Bios shows boot 1 now from my unraid usb flash. I rebooted and still it boots to the BIOS. Even though the BIOS sees my sandisk it doesn't want to boot from it. I just don't know if I am missing somthing in the BIOS Under USB Configuration I have an Option for Legacy USB Support with 3 options, Enabled, Disabled, UEFI Setup Only. Right now I have it set to Enabled. As far as I can tell those are my only options.
  25. For some reason, now when I boot into BIOS it won't recognize my keyboard anymore..
