Der DXP6800 pro kostet 649$ das sind ca.599€ Edit: Übrigens 2x Thunderbolt 4 sind auch dabei und bei Gigabyte? Wie willst du die nachrüsten? [emoji2]

Hardwaretechnisch sind die Geräte Top. Die Verarbeitung ist 1a, dass merkst du sofort wenn du so ein Geräte in die Hand hälst. Vorteile: Kompaktes kleines NAS im Aluminium Gehäuse / Netzteil alles dabei Niedriger Preis 4x Sata Hotswap was praktisch ist 2x NVME M2 2280 / PCI Express 4.0 Anschlüsse unten. 1x PCI Express 3.0 NVME M2 120GB intern, dürfte eine 2230 sein 1x 2,5 Gbit und 1x 10Gbit LAN. Der 8505 ist recht stromsparend. Besser noch ist der DXP6800 pro 6x SATA Hotswap 1x PCI Express 4.0 2x 10 Gbit LAN Intel 1235u / 10 Kerne / 12 Threads

Das kannst du natürlich machen. Die Nachteile überwiegen die Vorteile, aber jeder wie möchte 😉

Die Boot nvme muss nicht entfernt werden um ein alternativ Betriebssystem zu installieren. Wenn du natürlich an den dritten nvme m2 Slot willst, musst du diese ausbauen ja. Dieser dürfte über PCI Express 3 angebunden sein. 1 oder 4 lanes müsste ich noch nachschauen. Edit: Du kannst auch die 120GB Boot nvmi überschreiben.

Warum solltest du den Garantiesiegel entfernen?

Die Server der Cloud , was im Grunde keine Cloud ist, liegen in Frankfurt. Datenschutzrechtlich kann ich bisher nichts gegen sagen. Du musst den Garantiesiegel nicht entfernen um einen alternativ Betriebssystem zu installieren. Das das UGOS länger brauchen wird, kann man so nicht sagen. Was die Chinesen innerhalb zwei Monaten aufgestellt haben, ist schon beeindruckend. Docker gibt es jetzt auch

Der Fehler konnte im BUG Thread zwischenzeitlich reproduziert werden und wird sicherlich bald behoben. Danke an alle die geholfen haben. Den Thread mariere ich als gelöst. Frohe Feiertage euch allen. 🐰

Das Problem liegt wohl daran, dass sobald in einem zfs pool, ein laufwerk nicht mehr erreichbar ist, z.b. durch einen defekt oder entnahme, durch den vorhandene Bug in Unraid, der USB-Flash gekrallt und beim nächsten array start komplett überschrieben wird. Ich kann jeden nur raten, erstmal behutsam zu sein bei so ein szenario. Edit: Wer lust hat, und einen raidz zfs pool nutzt, kann es gerne reproduzieren. Backup vom Stick unbedingt vorher erstellen.

I know that a drive is missing. However, there is no reason to delete the flash stick. Imagine that an HDD or SSD in your zfs pool is broken and then the unraid USB stick is also deleted. I have now created the stick again. Probably 15 times already. I don't feel like having the stick deleted again. Ich hab keine Ahnung. Hab den Server noch nicht heruntergefahren. Schaut euch mal die ausgabe von "fdisk -l" an. Der Stick wurde sauber gelöscht und mit eine Linux Partition versehen. Edit: Stick neu erstellt. Jetzt siehts wieder gut aus. Erstelle jetzt erstml kein Pool mehr 😒

Wenn ich den Stick am Laptop anstecke, nachdem ist den pool erstellt habe, ist nichts drauf und nicht mehr lesbar. Erstelle ich kein ZFS Pool, kann ich mein Array mehrfacher stoppen und starten und alles ist gut. Erstelle ich ein ZFS Pool und Starte ist der Stick sofort weg.

Hi, die letzten 24 Stunden musste ich mein USB-Stick "Samsung FIT" 3 mal neu erstellen. Der USB-Stick löscht sich irgendwie von selbst und es kommt zu der Meldung. Der Stick dürfte um die 2,5 Jahre in Betrieb sein. Ich bin zudem auf diesem Thread gestoßen, keine Ahnung ob exakt das gleicht Problem war. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/151916-umgang-mit-usb-sticks/ Hat jemand erfahrungen mit solch einen Problem? Ich hab das noch nie erlebt, dass sich ein Stick löscht und sich immer wieder neu erstellen läßt. Deshalb ist ein defekt fraglich. Das Problem besteht seit zwei Tage. @Danny N What false statements have I read here about TrueNAS/Proxmox? 1. Reliability: If your USB stick fails during Unraid, your server is gone. With TrueNAS, all SSDs/HDDs/NVMEs have to be broken at the same time. Because TrueNAS writes itself into every device. That's what you do in the enterprising sector if you value reliability. 2. TrueNAS or Proxox products are not well tested? Whenever I reported a BUG to the Proxmox developers, it was fixed within a few hours. With Unraid there are bugs that won't be fixed for years. Look at MACVLAN/BR0, USB passthrough, Realtek 2.5Gbit power saving mode. It's better if I don't start talking about the advantages and disadvantages of Unraid/TrueNAS/Proxmox. Everyone here says it's a great subscription model, but nobody changes their Basic or Plus for Starter or Unleashed. Instead of talking, the license changes and supports Limetech.

Es müsste dann bald mit den neuen ABO Modellen losgehen. Hoffe das das gut geht, die Verkäufe nicht einbrechen und das zusätzliche Geld uns allen mit der Software Entwicklung zu gute kommt. Ich habe hier noch ein Aktivierungscode von eine Plus-Lizenz die ich erworben habe. Soll ich am besten gleich ein USB-Stick erstellen damit ich ein Key bekomme?

You can't compare Microsoft with Limetech. This is about NAS software and there are good and free alternatives. Examples: If you have a Ugreen NAS, then you have UgreenOS or you install TrueNAS Scale + TrueCharts, Proxmox, OpenMediavault, Xpenology. You can also install CASAOS on UgreenOS (debian). Then you have a nice community-based open source GUI. The same is with the OpenMediaVault + CASAOS. Portainers are also available. Have you looked at alternative software? TrueNAS and Proxmox have been around for a very long time. You should find out how you make money. Instead of buying software for $249, people prefer to buy hardware. Why should you spend so much money on NAS software when the others are just as good? Limetech is doing itself no favors. This could also be the beginning of the end.

I don't understand this restriction. The apps have nothing to do with the subscription. These are Docker containers. :-(

I think so. If my subscription expires after a year, a new unraid version comes out and the apps no longer work.
