[Support] binhex - qBittorrentVPN
I'm trying to get a 2nd qbittorrentvpn client up and running. Actually, it may be running, but I can't access the gui to tell for sure. The log doesn't show any errors, and the container is started. I suppose there's a way to tell for sure from the console. Anyway, I tried to copy the config from the first (working) container, and just change the conflicting host ports and DL folder. The configs are a little different when I go to edit, though. The original has host port 1, 2, 3, 4, key 1, etc. The new one has names for all those. When I try to open the container, I get a message that the site can't be reached. I suspect it's something simple with the ports. Can anyone help me out? original container Host Port 1: 6881 Container Port: 6881 Host Port 2: 6881 Container Port: 6881 Host Port 3: 8080 Container Port: 8080 Host Port 4: 8118 Container Port: 8118 Key 9: 8080 Container Variable: WEBUI_PORT New Container Port: Web Interface: 8082 Container Port: 8080 Port: Privoxy: 8120 Container Port: 8118 Variable: WEBUI_PORT: 8082 Container Variable: WEBUI_PORT

Unraid 6.12: dashboard changes not always being saved after logout
Hey! You're out line with that common sense stuff! Take it somewhere else!

Unraid 6.12: dashboard changes not always being saved after logout
Hmmm...My pfSense dashboard doesn't revert back to default every time the cookies are deleted. They seem to have found a way to make it work. At the very least, they should warn you when you're customizing it, that it's temporary.

My Customised Fractal Node 304 SFF Build
Nicely done! I upgraded from the Fractal 304 to the 804 about 3 years ago. I love that it fits in my desk after I removed the drawer hardware!

all docker containers lists version “not available” under update
+1 For me, it's 6 of 14 containers on a custom network (if that matters). I was a couple updates behind. Updated to 6.12.6 to see if that would fix it, to no avail.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Nextcloud
Hi. I've got the X-Robots-Tag issue. I've been reading and trying things for a couple days, but when I put "noindex, nofollow" in default.conf, i cant open NextCloud. I get a bad gateway error 502 when trying to access via my domain, and ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT trying to open on the local network. I'm guessing it's because I go through SWAG. Is there something I need to configure in there?

[Support] binhex - qBittorrentVPN
Hi folks. I'm having a problem where nothing displays in the panes below the menu bar - even if I click on menu bar items, the list does not display into that area. It's been fine on my home network, but the problem occurs when outside my network. I'm away from home and can't check the version I'm on, but it auto updates weekly. I also use SWAG with my own domain at Cloudfare. I have other containers going through SWAG/Cloudflare without issue. I also use NZB360 and can verify there are a couple dozen active torrents. Anyone seen this or know of a fix?

Server showing offline -- logout/login on plugin fixes temporarily
I'm sure you've tried selecting "yes" for allow remote access, and checking that the port is open? I'm no expert, but seems like that should be set to yes. BTW - I found this because I'm also showing offline. I logged out and back in via the plugin like you mentioned, and now I'm showing online. We'll see for how long.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - SWAG - Secure Web Application Gateway (Nginx/PHP/Certbot/Fail2ban)
Hi Folks. I apologize it this has already been addressed. I've been searching for a couple hours, and frankly, I haven't read this 238 page thread. I started receiving emails saying my letsencrypt certs are about to expire. Delving into it, it looks like the last log I have in the appdata/swag/log/letsencrypt folders is dated 11/23/22 (below). It looks like the cron job is no longer running? Unraid OS version 6.11.0 available
Anyone having an issue updating Docker containers? I get the white box saying updating containers with the green bouncing circles at the bottom that never seems to complete. I just updated swag, got the box, went out and mowed the lawn, came back and it was still going. Refreshing the page, it looks like it successfully updated. Tried it again, this time updating all, and same thing. Brave browser and docker folders installed, if that makes a difference.

[Support] Unbound
I'm no expert. Trying to get mine working too. But, did you do this; "The container is looking for 3 files that are missing which are referenced in the default 'unbound.conf' file that was placed there. You can download/create the missing 'a-records.conf', 'forward-records.conf', and 'srv-records.conf' files. https://github.com/MatthewVance/unbound-docker/tree/master/1.10.1 The github repository (version 1.10.1 is the current version at the time of this writing) has the 3 files you need. Just go into each file and Right-Click the Raw button and Save As in order to download the 3 files. Copy them into the appdata/unbound folder and restart the container." Pay attention to the "right click in Raw" I chased my tail for a while before realizing I'd DL'ed the html version.

Many Missing Files
So, I never did figure out why Nextcloud moved/deleted so many of my files. It seems to have moved a bunch to the userprofile\files folder of the Nextcloud share, and deleted a bunch that went to the pruserprofile\files_trashbin\files folder. I would start a restore from Nextcloud trashbin, and my laptop fans would spin up and the browser would freeze for several minutes. It would end up restoring 500 to 1000 files before stopping. It seemed to be using the browsers resources, so I moved to my desktop. Worked a little better, and after many tries, finally got all those restored. It took a couple days of going through the userprofile\files files and manually moving them back where they belonged, but finally done. In the end, I don't think it was an unraid issue, but appreciated those who helped me get things restored.

Many Missing Files
Thank you all for suggestions and making me think in different directions. Hacking: Files weren't being encrypted, no evidence of theft, no ransomware demand, no-one trying to F* up my system, just data files missing. I'm not exactly a highly sought target. So, not likely, yet still possible. Took some steps to mitigate. Dockers: Shutdown most of them and it seemed to stop. Only left a few up that shouldn't be able to access my shares (maybe appdata). Through my searching, I saw the Plex people swearing that Plex can't delete your files (other than manually in a client). I removed write access to my media share for the Plex container, and it didn't have access to any other shares. So, I started that Container last night. Nothing lost overnight. Laying in bed I thought about trurl and strike's latest comments. It seems to be a container. Plex & the 'arrs don't have access to my documents share. But, Nextcloud does! While searching this problem I did see one thread where Nextcloud had moved the users files. I looked around in my Nextcloud share but didn't notice anything there. I recalled (about a week ago) that I was having trouble opening some files on my desktop. The Nextcloud client was connected to the admin account., and I changed it to my user account. This morning I got up and looked at my Nextcloud client on my laptop and see the files with a red x saying synced. I fired up Krusader and did a global search (why didn't I think of this earlier?) for one of the missing files, and found it here nextcloud\user\files_trashbin\files, along with the others. So, now I just need to figure out the why, and best way to move everything back. Thanks again for helping me sort through this. I caught the 'rona last week, so probably wasn't thinking to clearly to start. I'll do some more searching from the Nextcloud aspect and come back and update/mark resolved when I get things restored.

No, but I can't see where they might've moved to. Or why.

Many Missing Files
Thank you strike. Good point on the container PW's, I didn't think of that. I'm on the same page with starting one container at a time. And, I'll definitely search those logs. The odd thing is that my array hasn't noticeably changed from 14.1/32TB (44%). I figure at least a TB is missing (Probably more). I'm holding out hope that it's recoverable.

Many Missing Files
That did cross my mind, though. I am accessible through the My Servers plugin. I guess I could disable that and change my pw. But the nature of the problem doesn't suggest it. With Ransomware, they work really fast to get your stuff encrypted before you notice. To delete files during sporadic time frames? I would think they'd be more efficient in their destruction, but still anything's possible. FTP Servers is disabled. It's not normal for that avahi-daemon to load that? Maybe some plugin? Damn! happened again while typing this. I stopped all dockers except pihole, unbound, swag and cloudflare and it stopped.

Many Missing Files
Arrgggg! I caught it after another 20 movies deleted this afternoon. That's 188 movies, a couple dozen TV shows and most of my documents share! I immediately shutdown Plex, Prowlarr, Radarr, Readarr as well as Mariadb and nexcloud dockers, and it continued deleting movies every couple minutes. I rebooted the server which seems to have stopped the bleeding. I did the Check Disk Filesystem procedure (without repair). All disks looked pretty much the same. Is this a normal result?? Please help me figure this out before I lose everything!

Many Missing Files
Thank you for replying, trurl. I'm not sure. I went back and looked at syslog form December, when I first moved to unRAID, and it was there too. I was playing around with things then, and might have created a user admin and later deleted it. I didn't find a way to fix this with a few minutes searching, but will continue looking. This wouldn't be causing my missing files issues, would it? Best I can tell that just started on 6/27. As far as FTP, I didn't intentionally set it up, and as far as I can tell, it's not.

Many Missing Files
Hi Folks. I'm hoping someone can help me resolve this. So, I have Radarr/Sonarr set up to notify me of changes via Discord. I get up this morning and Discord tells me 10 - 15 TV episodes were deleted. I did some investigating but couldn't find the problem. Shrugged it off. Then, this afternoon, Discord tells me 80 movies were deleted. After further investigation, most of the files in my Documents share are missing. I don't think it's Radarr, Sonarr or Plex, because none of them have access to the Documents share. The shares are still there. The folder structure is still there, just missing files. Looking at folder modify dates, they appear to happen in batches. I read somewhere to try ls -al to look for hidden files and get this: root@Tower:/mnt/user/data/media/movies/Ad Astra (2019)# ls -al total 12 drwxrwxrwx 1 mike users 10 Jun 30 20:56 ./ drwxrwxrwx 1 mike users 8192 Jun 24 15:55 ../ Thanks for any guidance. tower-diagnostics-20220701-1632.zip

LSI Controller FW updates IR/IT modes
Just successfully flashed my PERC H310. Thanks for all the work here. A couple tips for the wiki - On my ASUS Prime B360M-C, I had change the USB configuration to emulate hard drive to the USB to boot correctly in FreeDOS To switch device in UEFI Shell is actually FSX: (took me a while to figure out the colon is required) Maybe specify that you need to run the X.nsh from UEFI Shell, as .bat & .exe won't run (I didn't see it anywhere, but eventually figured it out. I apologize if anything's already been covered. I didn't read every post! -cheers

The Complete UnRAID reverse proxy, Duck DNS (dynamic dns) and letsencrypt guide
Can I try a little necromancy on this thread? Any update on config for Swag, as letsenctypt container is gone? I can't seen to get it working. Do I have to redirect port 80 to another port, or is that optional? I'm away from home. I redirected 443 before I left, and got My Servers remote working. I'd trying to access Sonarr & Radarr. Thanks,

USB drive and networking
Hmm... Those Kingston's have been running pretty much 24/7 for nearly 7 years in my FreeNAS rig. Maybe I wouldn't be so lucky this time, though. That's a pretty clever device. I didn't know they made those. I could probably get by with a regular size. It wouldn't stick out much more than the power cable. I guess I just like the neat look of the nearly flush mount ones. (Even though I never see it, lol!)
