  1. Delete the orphaned containers first, it will do already quite a cleanup. Check afterwards what has left. You need to re-install those containers to make them work (keep in mind these are only the applications, the data is still preserved).
  2. /boot/extra means this is the top level folder extra on your flash drive. If you have remote access to your flash drive from your Windows machine, you can just open windows explorer and create the folder extra. Then copy the just downloaded .txz file to that folder. No the folder packages is not used. Once on the temperature settings page turn on Help, which gives you more background information. Btw Help is now available for many pages and settings, make use of that! Basically do: Detect -> Save -> select sensors
  3. Change Basic View to Advanced View and you will see all Dockers.
  4. It looks like you have created a user share with the name "disk 2", this will interfere with the standard disk sharing. Delete the offending user share. And one more step... Stop your array and goto "Global Share Settings". Check that under Included/Excluded disks there are NO DISKS checked.
  5. You need the perl package, it has been removed from unRAID 6 final. Download it from here and save the package in /boot/extra Either reboot your system or do a manual installation using 'installpkg'.
  6. By default OPcache looks at the timestamp of the files to detect changes. If want you to deep dive, have a look at the settings file /etc/php/conf.d/opcache.ini
  7. What is that one? Haven't seen it... Haven't announced this one officially, but you may install it. It uses the Zend OPcache functionality to cache PHP scripts, this can help accelerating the execution of PHP since the source doesn't need to be compiled each time. #php -v PHP 5.4.41 (cli) (built: Jun 16 2015 09:20:38) Copyright (c) 1997-2014 The PHP Group Zend Engine v2.4.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2014 Zend Technologies with Zend OPcache v7.0.5, Copyright (c) 1999-2015, by Zend Technologies
  8. Worth pointing that enabling the Help via the button at the top right of the unRAID GUI would have pointed this out as well. Yeah, quite some time and effort went into Help. I guess people still need to get used to it
  9. Just clear all boxes and press Apply, this will revert settings to default.
  10. Good idea, I add that for the next version. Thanks Note: the error message of the copy command should not stop diagnostics from creating the zip file, this message will be suppressed in the next version.
  11. Change : Window -> Translation -> Remote character set = UTF-8
  12. I bought 4 HDDs from pras1011 and these are now happily spinning in my system. All of them are in perfect state and arrived well packaged.
  13. You can't, the only other option you have is to move Active Streams to the end of the Dashboard. This is achieved by giving different sequence numbers to the pages displayed on Dashboard DashStats.page ==> Menu="Dashboard:1" ActiveStreams.page ==> Menu="SystemInformation Dashboard:2" thank you ... another thing is the change needed every time i reboot as it looks like its not persistent? All files are kept in RAM memory so a reboot would undo your changes.
  14. I believe this is the same question as in the other topic. Your USB stick is not bootable, take it out and put it in your PC. Copy "make_bootable" to your stick (if not already present) and run it as administrator.
  15. Your config file contains several depreciated settings, I guess this happened do to upgrades from earlier versions. Try the following: rename (or delete) the file /boot/config/plugins/dynamix/dynamix.cfg. Reboot your system, this will let it start with all default settings. Next apply your notification settings and rerun your test.
  16. When stuck at the SYSLINUX part, the USB stick is not bootable. Take it out of unRAID and put in your PC, run "make_bootable".
  17. Just another teaser ... User will be able to select his own banner from the webGUI, see the attached screenshot. (no it is not available yet)
  18. You can't, the only other option you have is to move Active Streams to the end of the Dashboard. This is achieved by giving different sequence numbers to the pages displayed on Dashboard DashStats.page ==> Menu="Dashboard:1" ActiveStreams.page ==> Menu="SystemInformation Dashboard:2"
  19. Sorry typo from my side, indeed the cfg file. All looks good at the settings side, so not sure what is happening cause I can't reproduce it... (I need to investigate more)
  20. Did you use to store your notifications on the array before? How does your [notify] section look like in /boot/config/plugins/dynamix/dynamx.plg ? Specifically the setting of path, mine is: path="/boot/config/plugins/dynamix/notifications"
  21. It needs to be done manually (no programming required though). You need to telnet into your system and locate file /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.active.streams/ActiveStreams.page Easiest is to use Midnight Commander (mc) and navigate to the above folder, use F4 to edit the file. Change the first line Menu="SystemInformation" into Menu="SystemInformation Dashboard" Save and exit the file with F2 / F10 and Active Users will now show up on the dashboard page.
  22. Server layout Powerdown Package Community Applications Dynamix Zend OPcache Dynamix System Temperature Dynamix System Statistics Dynamix Auto Fan Control Dynamix S3 Sleep Dynamix Cache Directories Dynamix Active Streams
  23. The up/down symbols are (miniture) action buttons for an individual disk, like the Spin Down and Spin Up buttons on the Array Operation page. When hovering over them, it will show the message "Click to spin <action> device" ...
