  1. BIOS is separate form IT/IR mode, both can have it or not: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/12114-lsi-controller-fw-updates-irit-modes/?do=findComment&comment=632252
  2. Use Midnight Commander (mc on the console), you can select all files/folders to copy/move, use the Insert key IIRC.
  3. Looks more like a board compatibility issue, if installed delete the BIOS from the HBA, it's not needed for Unraid and it can cause boot issues with some hardware.
  4. Does it completly freeze and you need to reset or does it stop responding temporarily during high i/o?
  5. Only issue I'm seeing for now is the cache device dropping offline and reconnecting again, reboot and post new diags after array start.
  6. Strange, cannot see a reason for the dock not working, especially if it worked before, though would never recommend adding an array device using USB.
  7. There's considerable log spam but not seeing any extra disk being detected, only a USB device, but that could be the USB bridge, try using a different disk to see if there's any difference.
  8. If you currently have a VM working reboot and post new diags after array start.
  9. Driver is working, problem is that it's identifying the disks as: HPT VD1-0 HPT VD1-1 HPT VD1-2 etc, There's no serial number, though they are not all identical Unraid is not accepting that as valid identifiers, it considers all the same device, hence the problem.
  10. First check that you don't have multiple libvirt images, post the output of: find /mnt -name libvirt.img
  11. Cache device dropped offline: Oct 23 06:21:46 Tower kernel: ata7: reset failed, giving up Oct 23 06:21:46 Tower kernel: ata7.00: disabled Oct 23 06:21:46 Tower kernel: ata7: EH complete Check/replace cables.
  12. How are you planing on assigning the disks? Currently the array only supports up to 30 disks, remaining ones would need to be assigned to pools.
  13. Log is spammed with unrelated issues, make sure you close any browser windows opened to the GUI on an Android device, add 'logging = 0' to SMB extra settings, then reboot and try again, if the same happens post new diags, also note that RAID controllers are not recommend with Unraid, though it should not be the reason for this issue.
  14. Did you try using the server IP address?
  15. Type 'top' in the console, top right corner you'll see the server load, monitor to see if you can find what's making this climb, ideally it should be in the single digits for most of the time.
  16. One thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker/VMs disable, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one.
  17. Strange, I don't have experience with those enclosures but don't remember anyone posting about a similar issue, hopefully the LSI helps.
  18. Power down the server, swap cables with a different disk a power back up.
  19. Disk dropped offline again, did you also use a different power cable?
