  2. Dynamix Disk IO doesn't work with NVMe devices, don't know if you need one to test, but any chance you can fix it?
  3. I upgraded my board and unfortunately autofan doesn't work anymore, so can't test.
  4. I guess this question doesn't have an easy answer, so I'll try another, is anyone here using a Supermicro X11SSM-F with ACS override? Any issues?
  5. Before knowing that they are not optimal for VMs I got a Skylake board and Xeon to upgrade one of my servers, I need to pass trough at least one NIC and I need to enable PCIe ACS override to be able to do it, I tested and it works, my question is: Is this usually stable? With any issues be easily detected? I just don't want to replace the hardware and find out that the system is not stable after a few days or weeks of use.
  6. I suspect you need a newer linux kernel for mpt3sas to include your controller, you can ask LT to add it to next unRAID release.
  7. If you go to Tools -> System Devices do you see it there?
  8. Happy to report that the VM edit issue is now fixed, thanks
  9. Understood, but with a gigabit network I should be able to stay in the 90-100 MB/sec range, correct? Yes, using cache or turbo write.
  10. Yeah that is the correct command Does this work with the stock powerdown? I thought it only worked with the powerdown plugin.
  11. I understood it as a one time issue, and you had it solved by rebooting. Not the case? No, uninstalling bleeding edge and rebooting fixed it, installed it again and have the same issue.
  12. Did you see my post above about editing VMs? Is that just happening to me?
  13. The only current way to get more than gigabit from a single transfer from windows to unRAID is by using 10GbE, it may be possible in the near future when SAMBA improves SMB multichannel support.
  14. I have a issue with latest 2016.09.18c, can't edit any VM, both edit and edit XML, nothing happens after pressing update, even if nothing is changed. Uninstalling and rebooting fixed it.
  15. Thanks, that was it, I somehow disabled that by mistake.
  16. Thanks, was waiting for this to update my server. I'm getting a new refresh button on the place the IO toggle used to be, is this because of UD?
  17. Doesn't work on v6.2 stable, on purpose or mistake? 6.2 stable is not lower than rc5. plugin: installing: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bergware/dynamix/master/unRAIDv6/dynamix.bleeding.edge.plg plugin: downloading https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bergware/dynamix/master/unRAIDv6/dynamix.bleeding.edge.plg plugin: downloading: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bergware/dynamix/master/unRAIDv6/dynamix.bleeding.edge.plg ... done plugin: installed unRAID version is too low, require at least version 6.2.0-rc5
  18. Probably because it's a SAS disk, not because there's a problem, but I'll let someone with SAS disks experience pitch in.
  19. Regarding the new notifications, I really like them, but if the icons were white/grey when there's no notifications and changed to the green/yellow/red when there's one they would be much more noticeable, I'm afraid as is it could be some time before I notice any new one, though warnings and alerts I also get an email. As an alternative you could have only one icon and the color would change according to the most serious notification while the number would indicate the total amount, e.g., white/grey - no notifications green - notices only yellow - at least one of the notifications is a warning red - at least one of the notifications is an alert Don't know if it would be an easy change, but you asked for suggestions
  20. AFAIK it's not possible at the moment, I would also like to request this, as anytime I do longer writes to my cache SSD it goes 50C+ making all fans speed up unnecessarily.
  21. Thanks for the script, very useful. One suggestion, since vdisks by default are sparse use --sparse on rsync (or cp instead) to make the backups, say you have a 120GB vdisk but only 20GB are allocated, the way it is now the backup will use 120GB, with --sparse or cp it would only use 20GB.
