UPDATE: got it working. Had to select PRIVLIDGE MODE when editing the docker settings. Any resolution with this? I get this same error or just a blank white screen with a mouse cursor I can move around. I do see one black dot on the left side of the screen. The issue came back. But is different. I did explain this is another larger thread. Only allowed to open up one instance of the WebUI per browser. If I tried to open up 2 WebUI's with Chrome would get that 404 NGINX error. If I closed all chrome browser windows then tried again, it would load fine. Adding diagnostics in case someone wants to read them. Very weird issue. At least I'm able to access the WebUI. Those Ebay cards have the same chipset as the Broadcom I believe, as my friend purchased one from Ebay and it worked fine on his array. I did order one but have to get new SAS cables and remove the backplanes from my Norcotec 24 hotswap box because those backplanes were advertised only as 6Gbps. I never though of using an expander card since I'm not very familiar with them. Do you just jump a cable from the 8i card to the expander and that 8i can handle the extra drives with no problem?

I highly recommend the Samsung BAR USB sticks. Also I just changed out my old original sandisk for a Samsung BAR and had to mess around with secure boot settings and UEFI settings in my BIOS so it would find the bootable flash. When I used the USB creator tool with Windows I selected UEFI, so that was probably a change from my original boot device and just confused the BIOS of my mainboard. Had to go in there and select UEFI: Samsung as my boot device and it booted normally. It wasn't even starting unraid previously before I did that. Just a BIOS error about UEFI settings. Thie flash is a Samsung BAR 64gig. Was only $10 on sale. https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/usb-flash-drives/usb-3-1-flash-drive-bar-plus-32gb-champagne-silver-muf-32be3-am/ Also if you really want to check out your USB device and do not have a linux machine you can download LinuxMint, stick it on a USB stick and that will boot you into a full blown Linux. Then use a great utility called GPARTED. That will really examine your USB stick and can even change around or move/delete partitions without affecting others.

All I did was changed over to a new flash device since my original was terribly old. The procedure worked fine. Then I noticed I was able to open as many instances of the WebUI with the same browser. I did nothing else, just started to work as before it always did. I'll mark this solved.

This has happened to me. I also created a bug report but updated that all I had to do was close all my browsers then load up only one instance of the WebUI and it worked. If I tried to open up another tab while one was already opened I would get that 404 NOT FOUND NGINX. I am using non secure mode since I do not open my LAN to the outside world. This is the link to my bug report -> I do not know if unraid itself is blocking to only have one instance of the Webgui running, but that's what it seems. UPDATE: When Chrome was not working, I tried Edge and the WebUI came back. To get it back with Chrome I had to shutdown all running processes of Chrome, reload. Once I did that I was able to load up the WebUI. Doesn't see broken, maybe it is a security thing to only allow one instance of the WebUI running? I also cannot get doublecommander to work properly. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it as well. Well, here is another webgui. Seems this new version is taking down the webgui from reading the threads all around here. These are my diags BEFORE I restarted. Trying to restart the WEBGUI by the command line does not work. My shares were still up and running fine. I could not access the GUI. I am on 6.10. I tried restarting NGIX but it wouldn't come back. So I just issued the reboot command via command line. Of course we should include all types of cases, but just like many other websites when they compare the same products they divide them up like 'budget' - 'mid range' - 'high end'. I've seen so many monitor/display reviews like this ( since I'm trying to find a display ) and it just makes it easier to know beforehand the price points since ultimately the buyers budget would be at the top of the priority list. I didn't see just the case on their site. I wonder how much their AV15 bare case would be? The 30 bay is $2k, so I would imagine the 15 bay one would be around $1k.

Isn't the Q30 like $8000 and the Rosewill is $250? I don't think air flow should be compared on two cases so different and priced apart, no? The Rosewill has 3 large fans in the front blowing cool air right over all the drives, and another 3 large fans after the drives exausting that air. I have an old Nortec 24 bay, with only 3 fans after the drives since they are all hot docks. I'm able to keep 18 drives very cool with using the proper fans.

Now that I have large drives with no data and lots of drives %75, is there anything in the apps or docker area that would be able to put the same amount of space across the array or is more or less a manual process I would need to do?

Wondering how long. Slapped a brand new HGST 550 in there and the clear has been going for 16 hours now.

Anyone know any good sources for this card? I've been running my server with 3 Dell H310 flashed with an LSI IT mode. I'm beginning to "think" there may be something funky with one of the cards. I'd rather do a nice upgrade and use the one Broadcom instead of the 3 Dell's. The 9400 is 12Gbps, but I doubt I'll see any performance increase. I don't know. Hard to find an online store that carries it for a "decent" price. I certainly don't want to pay $1000 for it, which I've seen some price gauging places have it for.

Quick question. Sine this utility has been so great how would you set it up to balance all your drives pretty much as equal as it can?

I have been moving older drives out, keeping the larger/faster drives in place for now. Things have been going great. It is doing the final parity - yahoooo - but my cache drives no longer shows up being unmountable. I don't use mover at all, so the cache drive is where I keep my appdata and stuff I want to keep in isolation. I never touched the cache drive, made any mods to it or fooled around at all. What do you think could of happened? Worst case scenario is I format that drive and start over. Thanks. ALMOST OVER!

Question. I'm just using three disks here in a SCATTER. I'm ticking the check box FROM a 4TB drive and ticking 2 check boxes TO a 10TB with almost all space left and an 18TB drive with most all space left. Why would unbalance only move files to the 18TB drive and not include the 10TB drive? Is there a way to force UNbalance to move files to each of the drives and not just 1?

Rebooted and these are the only entries in my log. From what I can see, it does look like a preclear is happening because it is telling me how long it has been, the speed and estimated finish. Elapsed time: 6 hours Position: 3.30TB Estimated speed: 112MB/s Estimated finish: 1 day 12 hours 59 minutes Does that seem normal or too high for an 18TB preclear. I guess I have no choice to just let it continue right?
