I made a ramdisk just for transcoding and it's almost instant. You can use a ramdisk for so many things. That's why I always install lots of memory in every machine I have. This program here rocks. https://sourceforge.net/projects/imdisk-toolkit/

Use it and see if it keeps happening or not. Sometimes it could be a plugin or docker, not unraid itself.

I installed the MyServers plugin and now allowed to post. Is there a way to have an unraid cloud account that will display registrations, servers, and even tech details on your servers. Basically have a copy of the local portal to a cloud account. I don't know...not sure if anyone would like that, but it seems everything has or is moving to somekind of cloud system. Of course if a user bought a certain level registration the cloud account would be free. If below a certain level, maybe subscription IF the user chooses.

OMG, Best Buy is selling the 8TB model of the EasyStore external for $179. The price on that use to be $159, so that's not a bad price....BUT the 10TB Elements drive went from $249 to $219. I may shuck another 10TB, not sure don't really need it.

I use NZBHYDRA2, which is great. How would I expose that to the outside world? I know my IP4 address and what port to use, but something is blocking it. I can turn on port forwarding and give that a try, I just thought the router would see the request and send it through.

I ended up with an WD Elements drive for $249. Ripped it out and it was a WD RED drive. Kind of just what I wanted. I can't believe how expensive everything is, and not just drives. Everything is much more. Including essential items like food. Does a head of lettuce really have to go up %60? I signed up last weekend to volunteer in food kitchen. I really can't believe the amount of people having a hard time just feeding their families. Next week I'm emptying my cabinets of canned goods and non perishable items and bringing everything to the food bank where I was volunteering. Maybe the cook there can make something. When I see an entire family that just parked their Toyota SUV outside and come in for a meal it breaks my heart. Sorry this turned into such a post, but it is hard to ignore. Thanks for reading.

I would usually grab an HGST NAS drive, but seeing how expensive the internal drives are these days I'm willing to take a chance shucking an external. I do remember the 8TB externals were $159 on Newegg a while back. One of my drives died ( thank you for that little utility that checks for problems ) . Thanks for that URL....very nice.

Anyone know what's inside the WD external Elements 10TB? They use to be $159!!! Now all companies blame the pandemic and silicon shortage to raise prices abnormally high. Lowest I've seen a 10TB external has been $269. $100 difference. Forget about standard internal drives. You will end up spending probably over $400 for a decent brand/specc'ed drive.

Someone added users in Hydra, and locked me out! Of course I have access to root, is there a way to delete all users and not have any?

It finally came in. Craftsman told me it is such a popular item it is hard to keep in stock. They are selling on Ebay for a lot more then MSRP. I guess they are pretty rare. Been using it a lot lately and love the gyro feature. Screwing on network wall plates for a few hours makes it much easier.

Yes I did. It probably isn't being manufactured anymore. I miss Craftsman one of a kind tools they use to have in Sears stores. Very unique tools that no one made before. Now they are like every other company all selling the same stuff.

Wanted this gyroscopic screwdriver for a long time since I'm constantly taking cases apart, etc. For the life of me I cannot find one store that has it in stock. They sell it at Lowes and I checked over 20 Lowes, none. Anyone have any tricks? CRAFTSMAN 4V MAX Cordless Screwdriver (CMCF604)

Has this been resolved at all? I know there is also a Speedtest-Tracker out there. Not sure which one is good to go for.

Any idea what this means? I saw it come up after I did a search and sent everything to my downloader. Sabnzbd says NZB was added successfully but didn't return an NZO ID

I have been loving this docker. I have been looking for something just like this for a while. It works very well and I hope development keeps going and getting better. After I saw the stats page for the indexers I was blown away. I can now see how all my indexers are performing. I would love to donate something to this project if it still is being developed. What would be the best place to donate? I can send money/crypto, just tell me where.

The docker is version 2.13.7 and the latest is 2.13.13. I stopped the docker, clicked on force update but nothing was updated. Is this plugin still updated?

Found out what the problem was. Whenever I would edit the VM and hit update it would just mess something up somewhere. So I took the original copy and pasted it into Notebook+ and used that as my good source XML. Then made the changes I wanted. Then I went back into the XML and copied just those changes to my source XML and updated it. Worked great.

I ran through this docker and it setup the MAC VM just fine. But when trying to make changes to add some more CPU and memory it just does not load correctly. I made sure to copy the last part of the XML file and then put it back after performing the update, removing the topology line, and removing the virtio with that Intel adapter card. When I try to load it the Apple logo is not centered and there is no progress line. It just sits there. I have snapped a screen shot and copied what I could of the log. It just doesn't run too well with 4gb of memory and 2 cores. Any help would be appreciated. The XML is first and the second is the LOG file. Disregard previous post. Got it working. Was because my default DOMAINS path was different.

The docker was setup and it looked like all the files are there but the VM never showed up. Any ideas? I left all the paths default.
