  1. I thought about doing database replication inside the application, for just two users (my wife and I) this feels like over kill. I'm using resilio-sync to copy to all pictures and everything both ways between servers (R/W on both ends.) they are effectively clones of each other. I'm debating on encrypting the nextcloud data set entirely, it's much simpler to do that and put anything I want "safe" away there than to enable volume encryption. This is more incase a server gets borked or I have to take it down due to HW maintenance for long periods. both systems sit int he same rack and utilize the same power whip. So what I'm after on this is more server redundancy, I did this with two adguard servers and I like the results from that as then I'm not scrambling to get things back online if there is an outage. I would like to see the ability to live migrate between systems, it seems like that would be a great feature to have. I love the flexibility of this product and the fact that it's easy to present the same data sets to multiple systems natively within it, but I keep missing more enterprise features that I got used to as an admin. I have a 10gb network and nvme drives for all this to run over, I just want a simple way to do fail over and fail back in the event of an outage. On thing to look at adding to the Replication plugin would be to copy custom defined networks to the slave server. Though a token based solution that you can move between systems if desired would make more sense than a static definition. The the admin could move the flag manually to initiate fail back, so basically one is primary and one is secondary, but the token has to be re-assigned to the master for fail back to occur.
  2. Hello, I am trying to decide what the best thing to do here is. I have two unraid servers and I would like to setup fail over using this plugin for Immich and Nextcloud. Plex and jellyfin, I just run two instances of since my DB's are so large. I'm currently using resilio-sync to copy backups from server to server with failover being a manual process. I have upgraded to 7-beta3 (looks great and works fine on my older hardware) and have been reading ont he plugin and looking at options. rather than setting up database replication, I'm wondering if reconfiguring nextcloud and immich on a vm and replicating that isn't a better option? Or do I runt he risk of the DB corruption still? what do you recommend?
  3. I'm wondering if would be possible to have multi-mover support, but only for top level directories or, even better, defined directories. This avoids the script trying to move two of the same file while also allowing the process to move more threads. It would also be good if it could deconflict the drives, so if I'm moving /mnt/user/tv and /mnt/user/movies at the same time, it doesn't write to the same array disk. Basically is the write queue is higher than 0, the mover writes to a disk with a queue of zero and sufficient free space (next best.)
  4. I recently ran through a series of brown and black outs that caused my data disks to corrupt in a way that was unrepairable. This WAS NOT the fault of the OS! I do not have a UPS, though I'm going to focus on fixing that in the next months, after I find a job. The drives lost their superblock, I was using ZFS, but basically I was unable to recover. I had no snapshots, a snapshot manager would be the most useful thing to add at this point. I decided to give TrueNAS a whirl. What I found was that it was performant and I like the UI generally. They had virtually all the same applications that unraid does. Where trueNAS lacked was it's ability to manipulate the containers. You downloaded a container and you had whatever options were available to you to install it. I run my adguard servers on a dedicated IP and for that the solution to give it the same static IP was clunky, I had to assign it to the whole server or go through quite the process to create a dedicated macvlan. Unraid makes it easy to have a significant amount of power over your array. I would like more performance out of the array for somethings like nextcloud and immich, but it is what it is. Fortunately I had backups so I had the luxury of being able to wipe my array and start over. I hope none of you have to do that, if you want to know what kind of UPS to buy, I recommend either APC or the Amazon Basics one (if it's still available), but make sure it has AVR (Active Voltage Regulation.) I have a cyberpower avr ups on my TV and it goes off line every time we get a brown out. I live in the plains and we have had a number of bad storms and lots of construction.
  5. I watched this SIO video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ps1t9E8MkFI) and tried creating the keyfile but it did not work, not even after reboot. When I set these drives up I used a passphrase, anyone know how what I am doing wrong in that I still get this error even with the passphrase? Sep 17 01:13:25 Unraid1 unassigned.devices: luksOpen result: Error: Passphrase or Key File not found. Thank you
  6. This is most likely either a fail motherboard or a failed processor. I moved to a new system with different but manageable problems. Most likely the brownouts ate my motherboard from what I can tell. When I obtain employment I will work to replace the motherboard.
  7. I changed out the onboard and lsi controller for a new one, new cables and no difference. I did try to pull one of the drive bays and found that only one of the four drives would power on when plugged directly into the cable. I'm thinking it's the power supply but need a bit of a sounding board.
  8. The speed of my disks is all over the place. Most of them at Exos x18, so they should all be above 250MB/s at the start of a speed test and they are not. I have had a number of brown outs and I'm wondering if my power supply has taken a hit. Thoughts and recommendations are appreciated. beast-diagnostics-20240916-1410.zip

  11. I cannot get this container to connect to the database on the same network. I have tried both the LSIO and the Official instance. I have tried removing special characters, specifying the WordPress hostname and giving the container root DB credentials (I have rolled that back as it did not work.) It appears that the Wordpress container is using the docker networks gateway as the container's dockernet IP. Additionally is it calling itself Wordpress.dockernet, which mich be causing it issues. I am unable to figure out what is going on and hope you can advise. Below is a sample of some of my attempts. 2024-06-27 11:09:20 0 [Note] InnoDB: Buffer pool(s) load completed at 240627 11:09:20 2024-06-27 11:09:20 4 [Warning] Aborted connection 4 to db: 'unconnected' user: 'unauthenticated' host: 'localhost' (This connection closed normally without authentication) 2024-06-27 11:10:00 6 [Warning] IP address '172.18.0.1' could not be resolved: Name does not resolve 2024-06-27 11:10:34 6 [Warning] Aborted connection 6 to db: 'nextcloud' user: 'ncdbsvc' host: '172.18.0.1' (Got an error reading communication packets) 2024-06-27 15:01:24 180 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'172.18.0.1' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 15:01:24 181 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'172.18.0.1' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 15:07:21 183 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'172.18.0.1' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 15:07:21 184 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'172.18.0.1' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 15:08:03 185 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 15:08:04 186 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 15:14:56 188 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 15:14:56 189 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 15:15:33 191 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 15:15:33 192 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 15:17:06 193 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 15:17:06 194 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 15:29:49 197 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 15:29:49 198 [Warning] Access denied for user 'admin_super'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 16:21:23 216 [Warning] IP address '172.18.0.1' could not be resolved: Name does not resolve 2024-06-27 16:23:11 221 [Warning] IP address '172.18.0.1' could not be resolved: Name does not resolve 2024-06-27 16:25:18 232 [Warning] Access denied for user 'wpdbsvc'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-27 16:25:18 233 [Warning] Access denied for user 'wpdbsvc'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-28 7:44:44 440 [Warning] Access denied for user 'wpdbsvc'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-28 7:44:45 441 [Warning] Access denied for user 'wpdbsvc'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-28 7:44:56 442 [Warning] Access denied for user 'wpdbsvc'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-28 7:44:56 443 [Warning] Access denied for user 'wpdbsvc'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-28 13:05:25 509 [Warning] Access denied for user 'wpdbsvc'@'WordPress.proxynet' (using password: YES) 2024-06-28 13:16:14 512 [Warning] Access denied for user 'wpdbsvc'@'172.18.0.1' (using password: YES) 2024-06-28 13:16:14 513 [Warning] Access denied for user 'wpdbsvc'@'172.18.0.1' (using password: YES)
  12. Hello, I have two unraid servers that I run side by side, I would like to sync the libraries, but I don't really need to over write the content on the secondary system. Nor do I need to store two copies of movies that may or may not be identical from a md5 or sha1 perspective. Is there a solution out there to pull my libraries into sync without massive effort on my own part?
  13. Radarr? I'm trying to follow this guide: https://trash-guides.info/Radarr/Tips/Sync-2-radarr-sonarr/
  14. Hello, I am trying to set my Radarr instances to sync using lists and I'm getting the error below, I cannot find anything useful in the Trace logs to aid me in resolving this issue and hopefully someone here has some information that can help. Thank you: Unable to connect to import list: HTTP request failed: [503:ServiceUnavailable] [GET] at [http://IP:7878/api/v3/movie?excludeLocalCovers=True]. Check the log surrounding this error for details.
  15. agreed, this would be great as a feature to be added. Would save tons of T&E @Squidd
  16. How do I enable verbose logging?
  17. This server is a bit long in the tooth, but I really don't want to rebuild it. The SSH service WILL NOT allow me to connect and I cannot figure out why. Please let me know if you see anything that I missed. unraid1-diagnostics-20240411-1940.zip
  18. For example, I have Immich running, the postgres version I was using became obsolete. In learning that I had to switch to a version not published and build my own container. I've reached out to @Squid to try and get it published to help others, but it would be nifty if I could pair it with Immich as a 'bundle'.
  19. Would you please make a template for Asterisk? https://hub.docker.com/r/asteriskervoipsolutions/asterisk16/ I would like to tie it into my Rocket Chat server.

  22. I'm attempting to run Checkrr, but it's not doing anything and I'm not getting any logs. There are no useful posts any where, so hopefully this helps someone else down the road too. 25. ESXi is mounting the share with nfs 4.1, that much I know for sure, it works for a while, as long as I'm actively doing stuff it seems to stay connected, but once I walk away for the night and it's just running, even with a vm on it, it seems to time out.
